So, we're a few weeks into 2012. Not much has changed, since my last update, but I'm working on it...slowly. I ended up getting sick, around New Year's and am still trying to fully recover. I think I may have gotten that cough that's been going around. I'm almost over it, though. Don't worry, I'm fine. In fact, I was just getting some exercise. Hell yeah, I graduated from 5 pound to 10 pound weights!

Anyhow, life goes on as usual. While I'm still unemployed, I have been filling out a lot more applications, over the past few months. Heck, I'm impressed with how many apps and interviews I've had, over the past year. I'm getting more practice with it. I just need to work more on the bullshitting part. It seems that no one is perfectly honest with their apps and interviews, these days. It's just that lying doesn't come easy to me. I always end up breaking, somehow. ^^' Oh, well. Just gotta keep trying!

Still doing volunteer work at the library, too. I even have a volunteer appreciation reception after my shift, tonight. Ah~! It feels so good to get some praise for a job well done. Even without the reception, everyone's still happy with how hard I work. I just wish it were an official position, is all. -sigh- Maybe someday, I'll get there.

Fandom life is at something of a stand-still, right now. I've been watching Gundam AGE with Erick, but only for the lulz and to make fun of it a little. After seeing how lazy the first part felt, I really hope they step it up in part two. Really, the only redeeming factors, for me, are the cool guy trio of Woolf, Largan, and Grodek. I'm fully expecting Grodek to die in the next ep, but I have gotten confirmation that Woolf will survive. And just a few days ago, I found out that Largan's going to be in a side story, that takes place during part two. I was really getting worried about all the death flags he's been getting, but it looks like he ends up beating the odds. However, while it has been said that the manga is canon, I just want to make sure it's fully confirmed in the anime; just to be on the safe side.

Next, I'm sure people have heard about all the new Code Geass stuff coming out. After watching the promo video for Akito, I'm a little more excited for it, if only for the Knightmare action. I'm definitely looking forward to the Nunnally in Wonderland OVA, even if it looks like it's just an overblown picture drama. But I get some face time with His Puddingness and Nee-san. I'm not going to complain. Also, I want details on the Lelouch of the Rebellion movie, ASAP. Is it going to be a retelling of the series? A side story? Or perhaps (and I'm just playfully grasping at straws here) a post-R2 story? Either way, if it's set in Area 11 and we get the original cast, I'm on board. Just give me plenty of time with Team Lancelot, and we can call our business done. :P And I do plan on doing coverage of the new stuff, but it's probably going to be at my LJ. I might copypasta it here, but we'll see how I'm feeling. It's not like anyone actually reads this blog, anyhow. -shrugs-

I'm still in the process of sampling this season's offerings, but the two that have given me any sort of amusement are Daily Lives of High School Boys and Bodacious Space Pirates. At the moment, I think Space Pirates is ahead of High School Boys. I feel a little more at home with that show, since I like cheesy space opera and the setting and characters are already developing nicely. And, despite the name, there hasn't been much, if any, fanservice at all. It's more, "blink or you'll miss it". High School Boys...I don't know if it's because I watched an episode of Keroro before the first episode, but the humor was kind of off, for me. Sure, I like watching stupid guys doing stupid stuff (Hey, I was a Cromartie fan, back in the day.), but I could see some of the jokes coming from a mile away. However, I will give it a few more episodes. Still, the fact that I got more laughs out of Keroro, rather than this show that everyone's been talking about, has me a little worried.

Well, I have to be at the library in a bit, so I need to start getting ready. Don't know when I'll update again, but it'll be sometime. Probably in another 3 or 4 months. XD

I'm Alive!

It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm not so sure where to begin, but a lot has happened, since my last update. Of course there has. I haven't updated since late April, after all. >.>

So, let's see...

I don't want to start off with a lot of negativity, but I am. So, about 3 1/2 months after losing my grandma, my grandpa followed her. It wasn't like I was expecting it, but it came at a random moment. Mom, my siblings, and I were vacationing in Chicago, and it happened two days after we got back. It didn't really hit me that hard, not like with my grandma, but there were some other factors that still frustrate me. First of all, Dad didn't even bother to go check on him, that week; under the duress that he was doing fine. Second, the hospitals and the nursing home screwed us over. I'm not kidding over this. While the certificate said natural causes, it was because of neglect and malnutrition. And on top of it all, some of his stuff was stolen. Even though the hospital decided to settle with us, to pay off the expenses, I'm not completely satisfied. Not just because I want some justice done, (which will never come, because I know how politics work) but I also can't help but wonder how many other people have had the same thing happen to them.

Next, I'm still having a hell of a time getting my life back together. I almost got a break, last week, but I guess they decided that they didn't want me. Damn. And I thought my luck was starting to change for the better, too. :\ So, I'm still looking, but not having much luck in actually getting a job. Honestly, what kind of special person do they need at a pizza buffet, anyway? >.> However, it's not like I'm just lazing around the house. Since mid-June, I've been volunteering at the library, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Not only that, but I've gotten nothing but praise for what I do. I'm not one to brag very often, but they seriously love me over there. So, perhaps, someday, they'll hire me on for an actual paid position. One can only hope.

As for my home life, it's still the same but with more stress and less people. My brother's going to school in Oklahoma, and my sister moved in with her boyfriend, last weekend. So, it's been pretty quiet, and there's one person less to make me feel bad about myself. However, things still aren't that great. Mom's been having back problems, and she hasn't been able to do as much. So, I've been doing a lot of housework, to help her out. Dad's the same as always, except even less sober, more douchier, and even manages to make me look competent. Mom feels bad about complaining about how much of a giant dick he's become, but I told her not to. If she's complaining about something that's true, there's no need to feel ashamed of it. Besides, I find bitching about him to be very therapeutic. It's better than bottling it up, and eventually having a yangire moment. There's a possibility that he'll be going to Atlanta, sometime, but I'm not holding my breath. It would be nice, though. Mom and I could both use a much-deserved break from him.

Lately, I've been contemplating more and more about the people in my life. I can't help but wonder what they really think of me; if they even do, that is. I've been going through one of my periods of loneliness, and have been growing cynical about my past relationships. I don't want it to sound like I think they don't care about me, but I sometimes can't help but wonder. I mean, I did a lot for them, back in the day, and I sometimes wonder if they were just capitalizing on my generosity. I'm probably just being paranoid, but still, it would be nice if someone would at least call me. That's not asking too much, is it? I'd call someone, but I recently had to delete a couple of numbers, due to being outdated. Not to mention that there's a voice in the back of my head, saying that I'm just bothering them.

Also, I finally broke things off with my girlfriend. Things were getting too rough on me. She was putting too many weird and crazy ideas into my head; turning me into a hypochondriac. Basically, she was constantly trying to assert herself as the man of the pair, and seemed to be making me feel more like a weak, submissive girl; something that I never wanted to become. Plus, near the end, she said that she wanted to become a better person, but she never wanted to put forth the effort. So, I became more of a baby-sitter than a girlfriend. During A-Fest weekend, I kinda used that to my advantage and got her to break it off. She has no idea what I really did and why, but, frankly, I don't care. Sure, it makes me a manipulative little bitch, but I just couldn't take her bullshit anymore. I don't really care for romance anyhow. I've never been able to properly love anyone, and I probably never will.

Fandom life has been a little quiet, lately. I've picked up a few shows, for the fall, but nothing can compare with T&B. Yeah, after a while, I became a hardcore Tiger&Bunny fan. It had been a while since I had been completely taken with a show, and it managed to keep me entertained from beginning to end. As such, I feel as if I were spoiled by that show, and I can't find another one to fill the void. However, there's talk about a continuation being announced at the Heroes' Award Ceremony event, that's happening on the 13th. Personally, I don't want an actual continuation, but some side-stories from the timeskips. I liked how the series ended, and I don't want anything to un-do the conclusion. So, character focus episodes and silly side-plots sound a lot better. Antonio and Nathan both need their respective episodes, and I especially desire another episode about Yuri.

Well, I think I've said all that I wanted to say, for now. LJ's been going down the fail slope, lately. So, I might be back to blog here a little more, from now on. Until next time!

Much-Needed Update

Sorry that I've been gone so long, but things have been hell, lately. The past two months have been like one big, morbid joke, that just doesn't know when to stop.

It all started in early March, when Grandpa decided to have hip-replacement surgery on a whim. While he was recovering, Grandma passed on. It's something that I've been preparing for, for years, but it still hit me pretty hard. After all that happened, we're told that Grandpa had an infected wound on his back, and they had to do another surgery on him. Just before they started, Aunt Marty went to check on him, and she collapsed. (At least she collapsed in the best place possible.) The diagnosis is a mix of her MS, stress, and too much activity. As for Grandpa, the surgery was successful, but he isn't looking too good. I went to check on him, the other day, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing. So, I'm preparing myself for losing him, too.

As for me, I'm just the same as always. Looking for work, trying to catch up on the latest anime, preparing for A-Kon, and trying to take care of myself. I feel like my job search is at another stand-still, but I also feel like I'm about to get lucky. Until then, I'm looking into various kinds of volunteer work. I'm trying to get into the library, but I'm also trying to help out at A-Kon. For a poor person, such as myself, doing that would be awesome. (Free pass and boarding!) Plus, it would look good on my resume.

For the recent anime, I found some good ones. During the winter season, I did something that I hadn't done since Code Geass. I burned a series onto discs, until I can get an official copy. And what was the series? Level E! Yeah, people are raving about Madoka, but Level E was so much more amusing, IMO. I tried to watch Madoka, but it was too depressing, for me. Great soundtrack, but I just couldn't get that into it. :\

This season, I'm rather behind. All the crap that's been happening, has been taking a toll on my anime viewing. However, I have started watching a few different series. So far, I've seen: Tiger & Bunny, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, Enma-kun, and Hyouge Mono. I'm going to start working on Blue Exorcist, today, and maybe Hanasaku Iroha and Nichijou. I'm a little leery of the latter two, since I'm not into the whole "Cute girls doing cute things, for the sake of being cute." thing. Nah. I'm more into "Cute creatures doing cute things, for the sake of being cute.". XD

So far, though, I can't decide whether Enma-kun or Hyouge Mono is my top pick. I like Enma-kun for the over-the-top perverted humor, awesome Masaaki Endoh OP, and seiyuu (Koyasu uses his Kururu voice for Kappaeru!), but I'm totally enjoying Hyouge Mono for the tea fetishism. And I thought Ariabert Tytania had a tea fetish. Sasuke has him beaten in spades! The guy freakin' gets off on tea wear. (Even fondled his wife, while thinking of his new tea cup. lol)

Well, I'm gonna try to get out and go for a walk, to clear my head. Although, my head will probably feel worse, after I come back. Allergies have been killer, this year.

Well, that didn't go as planned; saying that I was going to update again, and wait over a month to do it. OTL Yeah, I know. I've been too lazy to post and keeping busy with the new anime series. For the first time in a while, I've been sticking with multiple shows; some I didn't even think about trying out. Such as MM!. The premise of a sadistic tsundere, trying to help a guy get over his masochism, didn't sound too appealing, but it's much more funnier watching it. At least Mio's heart is in the right place. ^_^'

Anyhow, while my status is the same as always, there have been a few things going on. I've been working on dieting and exercising more. I started strapping 5 lb. weights to my wrists, while going for 45-minute walks, this week. I try to do it every other day, but I'm going to be upping it to every day, soon. Dad's, pretty much, decided to only spend one day in the office a week. So, I'm stuck with him 6 out of 7 days a week, now. That gives me plenty of motivation to get out for a while.

Along with that, I'm still working on getting a job. I was checking out the school district's website, to apply for my old job, yet again, and they changed their job search section. *sigh* Hey, McClendon! Ever hear of the term, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."?! Your new design sucks! It sucks so much, that I can't even navigate the damn thing! So, I'm trying to find a good time to go over to the student nutrition office and fill out an application in person. I don't get it. I re-applied at the beginning of the school year and haven't heard a thing. I had an excellent reputation with them, from my stint three years ago. Why have they not called me in, yet? /mini-rant

Let's see...my birthday is coming up, in a few weeks. Not really looking forward to it. In case you haven't noticed by now, I have a complex about my age. However, I do know that Heather got me something really super-awesome. I had her bid on an erotic Lloyd doujin, and she won. So, I'm just waiting on her to find some time to see me and bring it over. That's going to be an interesting visit, to say the least. kukuku~ As for myself, I'm planning on getting the first half of Pandora Hearts. I was originally going for Tytania, but PH takes priority, due to the release plan. I still plan to get all of Tytania, eventually, though. (You know me; never one to turn down homo-incestuous tea parties.)

Finally, after a long time, Erick and I talked for a while, yesterday. He's been busy with school and work, so, we've been missing each other on IM lately. Anyhow, he told me that he was researching orbital elevators and solar energy. Guess where he got the idea from? So, now, we're going to re-watch G00, much like what we did with Megami Kouhosei a few years ago. I'm a little reluctant to do so, since I'm still depressed over what happened in the movie. However, I'm still going to do it. And who knows, this could help me get over things a bit more quickly.

I thought it was about time I update this old place again, though I really don't have much to talk about. My status is the same as usual: unemployed, lonely, and broke. I've had some bad days, lately, but I'm doing okay. I'm just kinda on the fence about my current relationship, at the moment. I feel like backing off and just being friends for a while, but I'm not really in a good position to break it off yet. She's been having a lot of problems, and I just can't leave her alone. So, I'm going to tough it out for a while longer.

Anime-wise, things have been lazy, but hectic. The Gundam 00 movie came out last week, in Japan, and I've already spoiled myself over it. I won't spoil anything here, but I will say this: What I read, made me cry for days. I've started moving on, but it still hurts a little. The recent Pandora Hearts chapter came out a few days later, and that just added to my pain. I refuse to believe that Liam's dead, yet. I'm sure that he's either unconcious or there will be a way to save him. Either way, I'm fully expecting Break to die very soon. The way I see it, this chapter has become his death sentence. I'll be surprised if he actually makes it through the last three months of the year.

Putting all the anime angst aside, let's focus on some more happier stuff; the fall season, for example. I have a lot that I want to sample, starting out. Star Driver is by far on the top of my list. I know that there's the Gundam UC OVA, but this is the first mecha anime I've seen since G00 2 ended. (FMA 2 doesn't count, even if Al is a suit of armor.) I'm also planning on checking out OreImo, PantSuto (Just because I've heard things about a character voiced by H/Alle falling for Panty, who is voiced by SoMarie. I can just imagine his character screaming, "PANTY~!!!", all the time. XD), Super Robot Wars 2 (Even though I never did finish the first series.), and a few others that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

I was never a hardcore gamer, but I've been watching a lot of video footage of a mecha crossover game called, ACE: R, lately. I've heard a lot about how it's supposed to be pretty hard and there are some issues with it. However, I really want to play it. Why? Not only do we have Team Lancelot working on the good side, but I'd get to beat the crap out of the Knights of the Useless, too! That alone has sold me on the game...besides Lloyd just being his smart and awesome self, of course. I can't help it! I love hearing him explain all things scientific and technical! IS THERE NO END TO YOUR AWESOMENESS, YOUR PUDDINGNESS?!

Speaking of Code Geass, Sunrise kinda pissed me off again. First, they were supposed to open the site for the Gaiden series on September 10th, but they only updated the old site with a pic of the new KMF. I'm not gonna lie, the KMF is quite nice to look at, but I expected something bigger. Plus, I'm not exactly thrilled with the Nunnally and Anya dakimakura that they made. All it did was push my opinon of Anya being nothing than a one-dimensional fanservice loli. -_- And another thing, I'm sick of them whoring out all the underage characters. Don't they remember that they have a nice array of cute and sexy adult characters, in the series? (Yeah, yeah. Cry moar, Lloyd fangirl.) Maybe something will happen next Tuesday, since it's Zero Requiem Day. I don't think they'd forget such an important date, after all.

Anyhow, that turned out to be a lot longer than I anticipated. I'll close out, for now, but I do plan to update again in a few days. I'll be going to the Aki Matsuri in Addison, and I'd like to talk about it afterward. (Oh, and Dezz, if you're reading this, Adrian wants you to call him. ;))

Okay, here's the deal. Due to irritation over the death of my computer, I'm only doing picspams on my LJ. I know I said I'd do them here, too, but I just can't be assed to do it. I shall be unlocking the entries I've done up until now, very soon. And, while I said it was due to my loss, that's only half-true. I feel much better doing picspams over there, because I can use all the space I want. Plus, I can consolidate with LJ cuts, so it won't clutter my main page. (Jeez. This makes it sound like I'm breaking it off with Blogger.)

Not that anyone really reads this blog anyhow, but I dunno. I just feel a lot better doing those kinds of things over there. Now, off I go to unlock my picspam entries, and then, go for an evening swim!

Minor Update

Okay, I have a small problem. I still plan on doing my Pokemon picsums, but raws have been a bitch to come by. Lately, I've noticed that only one group is releasing them, and they're too big for my comp to handle. Why do these people think that everyone has the latest in technology, these days? Tch! Bastards!

I did manage to score one Kouhei screenshot from last week's episode, but that was about it. Unfortunately, he only got, like, 30 seconds of screentime. So, I'll be doubling up on last week and this week; pending on the screenshot situation.

I also have heard and seen some things pertaining to Kouhei's upcoming battle with Satoshi. Looks like it's gonna be interesting. The bad news: It's set in stone that Kouhei's gonna lose to him, since Sato-kun still needs to battle Shinji. Why can't the guy win just once? If it turns out his third loss is caused by yet another DEM, I'm going to rage for days.

The only way that I'd feel okay with Satoshi winning, is if we have a good animation director and writer lined up for the episode. We need a team that can really bring out Kouhei's creepiness to its fullest potential. (Not that he hasn't already, of course. lol)

Good News, All Around

I had a job interview, a few days ago for an upcoming sub sandwich shop. It's not exactly something that I want to do, but I'm definitely not turning it down. I'm desperate! I need money and more work experience, after all. So, I'm really hoping that they'll call me back.

But I got some really awesome Pokemon-related news, a few minutes ago. Next week! It's gonna be next week! Hentai Megane-kun's showing up, next week! Unfortunately for me, Aunt Lynne's coming over for the week. So, I won't be able to watch it live. OTL Why did it have to be next week, of all weeks?! Thankfully, there are raws. As I did two years ago with the Summer School arc, I'll be doing another picspam series for the Sinnoh League. I still kinda hate myself for not doing the other episodes I promised to do, but anything Kouhei-related is automatically mandatory. Creepy Kouhei Picspam for all! XD

Some More Catching Up

So, it's been a while since I've updated here. I've been through a couple of really hard months (Don't really want to talk about it.), but I have some good stuff to talk about today.

First up, one of my absolute favorite series just got licensed. TYTANIA~!!! I'm still unemployed, but I'm gonna do everything I can to get a job and some money. I have to support my tea-obsessed overlords, as well as Pandora Hearts. ;) While both series will be releases sub-only, my love for them compells me to buy them!

Second, I'm satisfied with how Community ended its first season, last night. I saw the Jeff/Annie thing coming from the beginning, but I'm okay with it. I've never been big on shipping main characters, as much as the side characters, so it's cool. I'm expecting Jeff and Britta to get together in the end, anyhow. Troy/Abed will always be my Community OTP, anyway. Speaking of whom, they never cease to crack me up. I'm a little nervous about Troy living with Pierce, since the latter is so...yeah..., but they never really did have much bonding time. But Troy and the giant cookie was just so cute~! Good to see Duncan again, too! Love my crazy, British professor characters! ^^

I don't know. I just love that series way too much. I wish I could say the same about The Office. If I hadn't officially come out with it, I quit after the Christmas hiatus. I've been keeping my eyes on what had happened via the LJ community, but I haven't watched an episode during the second half of the season. Though, I did hear some stuff involving Holly, last night. If she does come back next season, I might be pursuaded to watch. I'm pretty sure they'll end it next year, anyway. At this point, Holly is the only reason why I'd tune in, anymore.

Oh, yeah. I also has a new significant other, now! Not gonna go into details, but we're very happy together. And with that, I'll stop for now.

Another Boring Catch-Up Post

I just noticed that I haven't updated my blog at all, since the middle of January. Way to go, self Anyhow, I still don't have much to cover, right now. However, I do have a few things I'd like to mention.

I finally got to dl Hamu's single on Friday. I already raved over it on my LJ, but it was lovely. In fact, I was moved to tears by still more ripple. I like the other song, too, but still more ripple was just so beautiful.

My current anime playlist is a bit drab, at the moment. The only winter show I'm watching is Durarara!!, and am catching up on a few older series. I still need to finish TTGL, but I'm also working on 08th MS Team. I saw that one when it aired on Toonami, way back in the day, but never got around to finishing it. Still watching Monster on SyFy, and just finished Yami no Matsuei. Why did I not find that series sooner?! It's completely gay, but I think it's awesome! And add me to the list of Muraki fangirls. It's...not like I find him to be a good character or anything, I just find him to be an interesting, megane-wearing serial killer/rapist. Sometimes the creeps tend to be the most intriguing characters, okay?!

My lady friend from A-Fest and I have been talking and going out more. In the future, we're going to do a couple of cosplays. I've never been big on cosplaying, but I'm willing to give it another shot, just for her. We're going to do Ed and Greedling from FMA, and Break and Gil from Pandora Hearts. (Guess which one of us is going to be Break. XD) I'm not a huge fan of Ling, but Greedling's okay. If anything the seiyuu make me like the character more. -smirk-

Speaking of FMA, I'm glad that Gluttony came back for a while. I've so missed listening to Shira-tan's voice, lately. I read ahead on what's to come, and I really hope they keep his last words in tact. I started watching Brotherhood for the seiyuu lulz, and that line would definitely give me the seiyuu lulz. (Along with some dawwwww-ing.)

Finally, I'm hoping to start seeing some magazine scans by the end of the week. The 7th is usually when the low quality ones start showing up, but the better ones come around the 10th. There's some info that I'd really like to start see coming in. Of course, I won't get the real information that I want, until near the end of April. I have a pretty good feeling its going to happen, but I'm not sure how it will happen or what it will entail. And when is Shikkoku no Renya supposed to start, anyway? I keep waiting, but it's still not showing. -_-'

Another Office-Related Despair Post

I'll be up front about this, I'm seriously considering quitting this show. I know I said that I'd watch it out of loyalty, but from the spoilers I've read this week, it isn't worth it anymore. I knew the pregnancy plotline was going to suck, but I didn't think it would suck at this magnitude. I won't go into details, but I'm just going to say that the plotline about the birth and the follow up are really, ridiculously stupid. -sigh- And what did I say at the end of last season, regarding this particular plot device? =_=

I did read a potential piece of good news, though. There's a big chance that Holly will be coming back, in the future. It's still up in the air, at the moment, but at this point, she could be the one to bring back the balance in this show. For me, anyway. Maybe, as long as the writers don't derail her character, too. I'd rage over that.

Week In Review

All right! This week alone is telling me that this will be an awesome year! My personal life is still in bad shape, but my fandom life is regaining its strength. Which is a good thing, because I've been going through a fandom crisis, over the last year. Anyhow, what is it that's got me so excited for this year?

-It's all but totally confirmed that we're getting more Geass. On 4/23, Lulu's birthday event will come out on dvd, and there will be footage for the new project in the extras section. I'm ready! I won't take it as seriously as I used to, but I'm totally ready!

-Russia's single will be released in a few weeks. I've been listening to the preview on and off, and I think his is going to be my favorite. And I'm not just saying this because he's my favorite nation-tan! My favorite single went from Germany, to Japan, to France, and now I'm certain Russia's will be my true favorite.

-Speaking of Hetalia, FUNimation announced that they've licensed it, yesterday. It's not that high on my priority list, but I'm sure I'll buy it at some point. As far as FUNi dvds go, Keroro is at the top. I kinda want to buy the third set at the end of the month, but I also know that I need to hang onto every cent I have at the moment. T_T

-Graham's single ended up getting pushed back to near the end of next month. I was a bit annoyed by this, but at least we're still getting it. ^_^

-I missed this week's episode of Pokemon, but I did get to see the new OP. Good to see Monferno and Grotle evolve! I'm especially looking forward to Infernape sticking it to Shinji, in the Shinou League. In fact, I can already tell that the Shinou League is going to be beyond epic. At the end of the OP, we get to see the line-up of Satoshi's rivals. We have Shinji, Jun, Naoshi...AND FREAKING KOUHEI!!! 8D I always wanted Kouhei to be one of Hikari's rivals, but I'll take this, too! More Hentai Megane-kun is always fine by me! And if any of those guys win the league, it had better be him! I'm sure another stronger trainer will come along and off him, but he should be the one that moves further than the rest. In short, sorry Satoshi, but Kouhei takes priority.

I still haven't abandoned this place. I've just been in a minor rut, lately. Not much to talk about. You know how it is. However, I will say that 2010 has started off rather well! I'm already liking this year much more than last year. Then again, with how depressing last year was, it isn't that hard of a job to do.

What I'm mainly talking about at the moment, is today's Geass announcement. GeassMyu? XD Considering the legacy of Geass, I'm not surprised that there's a musical in consideration. I mean, if something like Keroro could get one, why shouldn't this? (Yes, there is a Keroro musical!) Not only that, but there really seems to be some new animation ahead. It still hasn't been said what it is, but I'm excited about it. ^_______^

And if they go along with the Geass musical idea; for the love of all things holy, there had better be a Happy Team Lancelot song!

On one hand, I'm more than ready for it, but at the same time, I'm still bitter about R2. And yet, I'm really excited about this announcement. (Then again, I've proven on more than one occasion that I'm a masochist for Sunrise. ^_^') Hey! If it means more Pudding-tan, then I'm all in! XD

I'll still exercise caution around it, for the time being; but I'm quite looking forward to seeing what's going to come up.

I could sit through some of the most cringe-worthy episodes before, but I just can't do it tonight. I just...have no words to further describe the situation other than, "What have they done to my show?!" T_T

Catching Up

I started off this fall season with trying out eight new anime series. (More like seven, and one sequel.) Now, I'm just down to four, and three of them will end next month. So, what have I been watching?

-Nyan Koi: I liked the whole cat curse thing it had going. I'm a little annoyed that it's gone into the "generic harem route", but it still keeps me amused. Kanako and the twins annoy me, but I'm cool with everyone else; especially Nagi. (What's so special about twin-tailed twins anyway? I don't understand the appeal at all. -_-)

-Seitokai no Ichizon: I think this is my favorite out of the shows I'm currently watching. Ken's become one of my most favorite protagonists ever, though I chalk that up partially to him being voiced by Takashi Kondo (Ariabart Tytania). lol I love all four of his haremettes, especially Mafuyu. She's just so cute! I certainly hope that Ken gets his harem ending, because I don't want to see any of those girls end up rejected.

-Tegami Bachi: I only started watching this for Jun Fukuyama. (My Geass withdrawal hasn't quite gone away, yet, sadly.) Now, since Gauche is MIA, I'm mainly watching it for Niche. I gotta say, despite how boring this season has been, it's turned out a lot of good female characters. I'm impressed. I like that Lag is a sympathetic kid, but he really needs to ease up on the tears. Also, I'm very interested in Largo. He just seems like one of those characters that I'd like.

-Miracle Train: My seasonal guilty pleasure. It's so stupid, but at the same time, it never ceases to make me laugh. I started watching it for the seiyuu, and I'm going to finish it because of how badly it amuses me.

I think, during the winter season, I'll catch up on the Inuyasha continuation. From what I've seen, Sessho's getting more airtime, and I can't really turn him down. Plus, I see that the stupid bitch finally died, permanently.

I might also back-track on Kobato, but we'll have to see. I'll be honest, I cannot stand Kobato. She's too naive and stupid for my liking. I know I need to turn my brain off while watching this show, but some of the things that have happened still leave me shaking my head. If anything is going to get me watching this show regularly, it's probably Miki's character, and he hasn't been formally introduced yet.

On the live action side of things, my love for Community is continuing to grow, while my love for The Office is continuing to diminish. I'm at that point where I'm just watching it out of loyalty, just like how I got with Geass near the end. I just can't laugh at it, like I used to. I'm not going to be one of those people who compare it to the earlier seasons, but I will say that I feel it has lost its touch. All my laughs on the Thursday night line up, are going to Community. I'll still stick with it until the end, but I kinda hope that the end comes soon. It needs to be put out of its current misery, before it embarrasses itself even further. It's sad, but that's just my opinion.

The Office 6.8

-sigh- Let me start off by saying that I'm feeling really confused over what happened. Part of me wants to sympathize with them, but the other part of me doesn't.

So, Michael, Helene, Jim, and Pam go out to lunch, to celebrate Helene's birthday. Pam's still sore about Mike and her mom dating, but she seems to be coming to terms with it. Upon Pam getting Helene to reveal her true age, 58, Michael realizes that him dating her is wrong. (Superficial reasons, but I get where he's going with this. He's Michael Scott; of course he would!) So, he ends up dumping her.

Pam's mad that he dumped her mom on her birthday (and is still mad they dated, anyway), so Michael offers her a bribe. Either a raise, or she can punch him. She took the latter. Now for part of my confusion: I understand why she did it, but at the same time, I'm having trouble completely sympathizing with her. I'm pretty sure my problem lies with my dislike of her. Hell, she even admitted that she has the worst attitude in the office; which caused an amused reaction out of me, naturally. I don't know. OTL I just hope that they're actually going somewhere with her attitude. Chalking it up to pregnancy hormones, when she was getting bitchy even before then, just seems cheap.

Now, for Michael. He makes me rage at times, but I've come to realize that he's just a big kid that never grew up. In a way, it's kinda cute, but it can get really annoying, too. While his reasons for breaking up with Helene were shallow, I do feel bad for him. Even though it was obvious that his and Helene's relationship wasn't going to last. >.> If anything, though, I'm just glad that his rebound is over. Oh, and I'm glad that he mentioned Holly again. Now that Amy's had her baby, maybe she can show up around the finale? One can only hope.

Getting the A-plot out of the way, I much preferred the B-plot with the King of the Suck-Ups! XD Dwight trying to get on everyone's good side, so they can owe him a big favor later, was hilarious! What he wants, of course, is to try and get everyone to get Michael to fire Jim as co-manager, and let him take his place. MUAHAHAHA! So, eventually, he ends up with Andy returning the favors for everything he does for him. Heh. Andy has the same mindset that I do; always pay back your debt. It still astounds me over how much I adore Andy, now. I used to hate his guts, but now I love him.

For the minor bits of the episode that I liked:

-Kevin getting sassy with Oscar over him not agreeing with him.
-Creed being Creed, as always. (There's really never a dull moment with that guy, I swear.)
-Kelly actually made me laugh, for once (er, twice), with her bringing the popcorn to the fight and her line about Pam's crazy pregnancy strength.
-Even though I don't like Ryan, he looked hot in that outfit. (But WTF was up with that nude picture of Kelly?!)
-Toby teaching Pam how to punch.
-Some Dwichael moments, even though they ruined it in the end. XD

The Office 6.6

Okay, how to begin?

This felt really felt like a classic Office episode, despite a few minor gripes that I'll get to in a minute. >.> Basically, Pam found out that Michael is dating her mom.

Pros:
-Michael's blind routine, in the cold opening.
-I loved seeing Dwight trying to listen in on Jim, using the bugged duck (mallard) ornament. He doesn't seem to tap into his usual dorkiness, these days, and I miss that.
-Jim taking Andy into his office for a moment, and turning up an opera aria on full-blast; causing Creed to cry. XD
-Dwight giving Michael the "chills".
-Stanley's facial expressions over Pam's outburst and hearing Michael's dating her mom.
-Erin just being her cute, happy self. She's now my second-favorite female in this show. (Favorite goes to Holly, of course!)
-The 5-minute friendship involving Michael and Toby. (Yeah, I knew that wouldn't last long!)
-Michael going into Boss Mode, and scolding Pam for acting like a spoiled child who didn't get their way.
-Michael's nicknames for Pam's mom. "Pickle"? I don't support this ship, but I do admit that the nicknames were cute. ^^

Cons:
Freaking Pam! I've had my ups and downs with her, over the years. I know I ranted over how submissive she used to be and needed to gain some guts. However, there's a line between being assertive and being a bitch. She's crossed that line, since last season. I know I'd be upset if my boss were dating my mom, but the way she took it was really hard for me to watch. I suppose I should partially chalk it up to her hormones, but seeing as how long this has been going on; I won't do it. -is being stubborn- You know, I think I want to see Jan come back and show Pam what she'll be like, when she's a mom. Because she's really doing a good job of going down that path, right now.

Jim being spineless. I think he's realizing that Pam's not acting like the woman he fell in love with, but he can't get up the courage to say it. In other words, he's become the Saji to her Louise, and I hate it. Not only to Pam, but he's a wimp in general. Do I even need to remind anyone about Corporate Douchebag? Seriously, he needs to man up!

Not enough Kevin, but he's had plenty of time to shine already. Just a minor character bias, on my part. XD

Office/Community Catch-Up!

I'll get Der Office out of the way, first. I haven't said anything, for the past few weeks; but there really wasn't much for me to fangasm over.

Anyhow, tonight was Jim and Pam's wedding. (yaaay) I'll admit that I'm happy that it finally occured. I still think it should have happened as a series finale, but I'm fine with it here. (If they want another wedding for the finale, I'm all for Michael/Holly!)

A note about that cold opening: I've totally been there, with the vomiting epidemic. =_= However, I do think Pam was being rather unreasonable about the whole thing. She was asking too much, she didn't get her way, and she caused the epidemic...it was partially Dwight's fault, too. I did like his line about, "Well, maybe you should have thought about that, before you decided to get pregnant!" It was as if he was saying what has been on the naysayers' minds, including mine. lol

What I really liked was seeing how the Scranton crew interacted. Dwight was hilarious at the kids' table, telling them about how Jim got to be co-manager by kissing Michael's butt. (It was a metaphor, but, of course, the kids actually thought Jim kissed Michael's butt. lol) Kevin's toupee and Kleenex shoes were epic. (And he even said the entire event was epic! GO KEVIN!) Erin is totally adorable, and I'm shipping her with Kelly from now on. Those two were made for each other!

I felt bad for Andy, though. I love Office dance-offs, but he took it a little too far. Andy, didn't anyone ever tell you that guys should never attempt to do the splits? Well, now you know never to do it again. And Michael! -facepalm- I know you try to help, but you should just keep your damn mouth shut! And I really don't know how to feel about him hooking up with Pam's mom. I know she's just a rebound, but it's still so...weird. (I'm almost expecting an entire episode of everyone joking about it, sometime in the future. If word gets out about it, anyway.)

As for the wedding itself, it was pretty cool. I've never seen the Youtube video that they were doing a parody of, but it was awesome! I know I just mentioned that I love seeing the cast members dance, and seeing them dance down the aisle further proves that sentiment. When those guys can put aside their differences, they're totally epic. (CAFE DISCO FTW!)

Switching gears, I'd like to fangirl over Community. It's only been a few episodes, but this show totally rocks! I honestly don't understand why barely anyone is talking about it. What's so bad about it? Is it too wacky? Are some people offended by the characters? I, for one, can say that I've gotten more laughs out of it than this season of The Office.

I love my quirky characters, and Community delivers in that department like woah! Everyone's crazy, in this series; except for Britta. That poor girl's the proverbial straight-man to everyone. I honestly thought that Troy would be another straight-man, but he's just as crazy as the rest of them. I'm actually surprised that he and Abed are so cool with each other. (Troy's a former high school football player, and Abed's an obsessive film geek.) Their little skits in the closings are freaking awesome!

As for my favorites, so far, I adore Abed and Prof. Duncan. I think my love for Abed stems from being an obsessive geek, myself. Plus, I can't help but love a character that references pop culture, everytime they speak. I fully admit to doing that a lot, too. -blushes- Prof. Duncan, on the other hand, is easily my favorite. Basically, he's what you'd get if Lloyd were a psychology teacher. XD It's just too bad that he isn't a regular character, because he's made of total win!

I just hope that this series doesn't get canned, due to poor ratings. I'd hate to see it gone so soon.

The Office 6.1

That felt like "classic" Office, to me! It was fun, cringe-worthy, facepalm-inducing, and hilarious.

First up, Stanley! I have to be honest, I was not expecting that. He's cheating on his wife, with a nurse that was helping him during his recovery in Stress Relief. It's supposed to be a secret, but when you tell Michael Scott a secret, it won't be a secret for long. ;)

Michael was in top form; which means, of course, he was completely problematic. First, he was upset that he never gets in on the office gossip. (Gee. I wonder why.) Then, he starts spreading false rumors about people. Next, he escalates the lies, in order to cover up for blurting out that Stanley's having an affair. Though, with those lies, came a few facts.

Writers, I love the fanservice; but at the same time, I hate being cockteased. I was loving Andy so much, tonight. Not just with his "Am I gay?" subplot, but also in the cold opening. I have no idea why I didn't see the old, "Jump onto a box, only to find it was empty." gag coming. What's wrong with me, tonight? XD Anyhow, I kinda want to see this expanded upon. If Andy Bernard is gay ("At the very least, it's bisexual."..or something like that. It's been a long time, since I've seen that episode.), that's fine with me. ANDY/OSCAR!

Kevin was, as always, hilarious. There have barely been any moments with him, that I haven't laughed at. He's just a big, walking, talking joke. Same with Creed, but with more WTF-ery.

In all, a good start to the season!

Also, I watched the first episode of Community, and I kinda like it so far. It seems like it could be a quirky character study series. So, I'll be keeping my eyes on that, too.

I Actually Have Stuff To Talk About!

First, a little update on my Geass post from a few weeks ago. It's becoming more and more plausible that there's something in the works. In fact, we're expecting an announcement around 10/10 (give or take when people start uploading scans). No one knows what it is, but I'm remaining positive about it...and that's saying something. About a year ago, if someone told me that they wanted more Geass, I'd say, "Whatever. If Lloyd's around, I'll watch it.". While the latter is still very much true, I've been missing the series lately. (Definitely due to the lack of mecha, recently.) So, I'm really excited about next month's announcement. ^^

Second, continuing with the mecha trend, I found information about the next G00 character single. On 10/21, Feldt's single will be released. So, this series seems to be a bi-monthly release, which means that Hamu's will be out around Christmas. (Saving the best for last, Sunrise?) Speaking of Graham, tomorrow is his birthday! So, Happy Birthday Hamu-sama~!

Next, I got to go to A-Fest over the weekend! Funimation contacted me and wanted me to work the weekend, so I did. Even though things didn't go well the first time I did this, I had a lot of fun this time. I got to work with some awesome people, I got into the con for free, amongst other things. I got autographs from Johnny Yong Bosch (He signed my Geass Host Club poster.), Chuck Huber and J. Micheal Tatum signed one of my Keroro manga (I got to hear their takes on Kululu and Dororo last night! LOVE 'EM! Not to mention that the guys are freaking hilarious, themselves.); I also ran into Doug Smith (Kintaro from Golden Boy) in the Artist's Alley, so I bought a mousepad from him and he signed it for me. As for my other purchases, I bought: a Lloyd doujin (Very cute!), a Lancelot ignition key keychain, G00 pin set of the logos for the Union and HRL, talking chibi Setsuna and Tieria figurines, a fan-made pin set of the Meisters and Orange Haro, the mousepad, and one melon bread. All in all, it a lot of fun!

Moving on, I've been keeping up with the updates on the new Pokemon game today. I don't get why people are complaining about it, I think it still looks awesome. Is it just because the gym leaders aren't a challenge, because they've always been like that. Besides, Whitney's Miltank was a bitch to defeat, and I'm glad that they took it down a level. (I like a challenge, but not when it's almost impossible to overcome. And, yes, I know how hypocritical that sounds!)

Something funny that I noticed was one of the Rocket executives, the one named Lance. He's obviously going to get a name change in the English version, and I already have a good name picked out for him. Due to his similar character design to everyone's favorite Orange, he should be named Jeremiah! XD

Going from the game to the anime, I have a few other things to discuss. First, Kojiro's going to fill in for Musashi in the next contest. Animation Director Iwane, Kojilina, sick Musashi...it's a sure-fire recipe for epic! (And I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Togepi episode.) Second, I noticed that some glasses guy is going to be in an upcoming episode. He looks kinda like Kouhei, but it isn't Kouhei. And he'd better not be some cheap Kouhei knock-off, because I'd be really upset if he was. Kouhei is Kouhei! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! (That guy had better show up again, soon. It's been over a year, now!)

Oh yeah! I'm still in the process of downloading it, but I'm getting the raw for last week's episode. So, I'll get a picsummary going ASAP! With that said, I'm out!

Awesome Pokemon Episode!

Okay, when I can obtain today's episode, I'm totally picsummarizing it! After the extreme let down of last week, I got an episode full of awesomeness!

What made it so awesome?

-Satoshi, Hikari, and Jun: minature-sized! I'm not as big of a Jun fan like some people, but he was adorable today! X3
-Jun's dad, Kurotsugu (Palmer) showed up. AND IS VOICED BY THE FREAKING GOD OF GAR, NOBUYUKI HIYAMA!
-AND OMFG! KOJIRO OWNED A FISHERMAN AT GOLDEEN SCOOPING! GO KOJI-KUN~! ::tears of joy:: It makes me so happy when that guy gets a chance at doing something awesome, and does it successfully.

Even though we're still nowhere near Sunyshore yet, I'm still holding out on hope that Denji gets to be voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura. Doesn't he just look like a character that You-Kyan would voice? Besides, we already have Lockon, Johann, and Kata-yan in the main cast. Plus, we've had SoMarie, Alle, Swiss Choco, and Lichty as minor characters in D/P. Why not add Hamu-sama, while we're at it? ^_^

I'm Probably Going To Regret This, But...

I've run their posts through different net-translators, and it looks like something is about to happen. Just the fact that both posts were made close together has to count for something, you know! Office Zetsubou

Okay, so I saw a couple of spoilers for the upcoming season of The Office. Nothing really scandalous or anything, just some general tidbits of what to expect. Sadly, all three of them have me in despair.

1. I'm still not pleased about the knocked-up Pam plotline. Yeah, I was expecting it at some point, but it seems too early for it yet. If season 6 is the last season, then I might think differently. At this point, though, I'm not cool with it. -cue Mois impression- You could say, "premature"? Plus, it was said that money was going to be tight, and that Jim would have a career shift. Please to be telling me it will be a position where he can make Charles his bitch! Yeah, right. But it would be awesome to have that douche answer to Jim, for once.

2. Looks like there's no getting away from psycho-bitch Jan. It's been said that she'll appear in a few episodes here and there. Oh joy! And now, I'm seeing my worst nightmare of having Jan be Pam's Mommy-senpai come to fruition. -shudders- And she had better not get anywhere near Michael!

3. Sadly, Amy Ryan hasn't been contracted to appear in any of season 6 yet. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I need my Holly fix! She's an awesome character! They can't just write her off, yet! Mou! That just made last season's finale a lot more depressing! OTL

If anything, I just hope that the secondary cast gets some more time to be awesome. Oscar, Creed, Kevin, and Andy in particular. (I still want my Andy/Oscar plot! lol) Of course, more Dwight awesomeness would be accepted, too. And I wonder what will become of Angela? I almost feel like there's still some unfinished business with her, Dwight, and Andy. -shrug-

Well, it's just about a month and a half away. So, I can only keep playing, "Wait and See" until then.

Picspam Possibilities

I've heard that there's going to be another mini-filler arc coming up in Pokemon. Hopefully, it'll give me some opportunities to do more picspam, and I could use something to bring more life to this place. The bad news, though, Hentai Megane-kun isn't slated to appear. However, Palmer is, and he'd better be an amusing enough to justify why Kouhei isn't there. He'd better make one last appearance before D/P ends, though. I don't want my last memory of Kouhei consisting of him sneaking off with food, without so much as a goodbye! T_T

I'm already thinking about picspamming one of them, as long as it turns out to be hilarious. Considering what it's about, I have high hopes for it. Remember back in Johto when Kojiro impersonated Ookido-hakase? He's going to do it again, with the added bonus of a frog fight! Yes, we're getting Guregguru vs. Politoad (don't know his Japanese name)! It probably won't be as epic as last year's Guregguru festival, but I'm always up for seeing Kururu's distant cousin perform some major ownage.

Speaking of Guregguru, I need to put in my $.02 in and say that I don't want him to evolve. I like the little guy as he is, and he'd lose some of his awesomeness if he evolved. For one, I'd like to see him defeat Saturn's Toxicroak, and I'm totally anticipating it due to "The heroes always get the breaks.". Second, I just find Toxicroak hard to look at. Finally, Toxicroak has a claw on his middle finger. Can you imagine what would happen to poor Takeshi during his daily prostate exam? He'd get more than just castrated, that's for sure!

I'll think I'll leave at at that, for now. I need to start prepping myself for making pizza dough for tonight! Pray that we don't have an "Ah!...pizza..." moment, people! XD

Hamu~!

The only thing that's been awesome, as of late, is something I heard last night. We're getting more G00 character singles, and Graham's getting one! YAY~!!! I'm not sure when it'll be released, but I'm so looking forward to it. Of course I would, I'm a Union fanatic!

While on the subject of Hamu-sama, I also heard a few bits from the AX's Gundam panel; one of which, is not to my liking. Sadly, my OTP is just a OTP. -disappointed sigh- And they had such chemistry and subtext, too. Oh, well; I'm not going to stop shipping them. I try to make it a point not to stop shipping characters, even after they're shot down. I may not like certain ones, but I don't try to force anyone to give them up, either.

With the bad news out of the way, time for some more good news. Mizushima said that he's going to have a big role in the upcoming movie! I automatically figured he'd have a role similar to Zechs' in Endless Waltz. (Yeah, even though I never really sat down and watched Wing, I did see Endless Waltz.) So, I'm happy about that, just as long as he doesn't get himself killed in the process.

The Return of the Randomness

I'll start with a few words about RisPara. So, Ristorante Paradiso ended, today. I will only say this: it probably wasn't a good idea to watch eps 10 and 11 back to back, because I was very close to crying. For one, I've mentioned that I adore Luciano, and seeing how he handled that adulterous woman was so awesome. Even after losing his wife years ago, he still loves her. -sniff- Seeing someone stay loyal to their partner, after death, just hits such a chord with me. You rock, Luci-jiisan! As for 11, it was sweet how the revelation about Nicoletta and Olga's relationship came about. I never liked Olga, but seeing her wise up to her selfish ways was nice. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about Nicoletta and Claudio, but they're still cute. (And that scene at the beginning where Nicoletta dumped the pasta on his head; everyone's reactions were priceless, especially Gigi's. XD Side glance, and keep eating! That dork!)

In all, I liked RisPara a lot. The characters were well-developed, the music was good to listen to, it had a nice atmosphere, and it was just a nice change of pace for me. If, by the distant chance it gets licensed, I'll be getting it on dvd for sure.

In other news, I'm falling in despair over the recent string of deaths. Not only did we lose three celebrities, two today, but a few of my friends have lost family members. Plus, one of my pool guards just lost his dog, while I lost my cat last week. My family still has no idea what happened to him, but while I was talking to BJ today, he mentioned he saw a huge snake around my house. So, I'm guessing that had something to do with it. So, now my family's cat-less again. We are thinking about getting another one, but not for a while. Still, I'm gonna miss Gus so much. T_T He was just such a good boy; he'd use his scratching post, we used to play together, we even talked to each other.

Continuing with the zetsubou, unfortunately, Dad's going to be taking half of next week off. Oh, joy. Now I can relive last year's 7/4 vacation again. =_= Plus, I'd really have no exit, this time. Mom doesn't have summers off anymore, Dad traded in the Pontiac for a giant cock-compensating truck, and that forces me to be a shut-in. orz "There is no God in this world.", so says Setsuna.

I swear, while I know it's completely unintentional, it just feels like they're keeping on a leash. I have no way out, and I'm becoming more and more irritated with being shut in all the time. Just a few weeks ago, I went beyond my limit and had a huge breakdown. It could have ended badly, but I managed to keep myself from doing anything deadly. I won't lie, though, I was very close to doing so.

Oh, yeah! The G00-2 dub starts on Sci-Fi, next Monday! Even though it ended about three months ago, I'm excited to see it again. ^^ (Well...Saji/Louise, Marina, and Lyle/Anew notwithstanding, anyway. >.>) Then again, with the G00/Geass seiyuu doing vocal work in the new FMA, it's almost like it never left. lol Heck, this coming Sunday, we're getting Greed Aker! XD (I kinda wish Jean Katagiri would have a small speaking role in here, but I doubt it.) I do want more Lust and Gluttony, though. -misses her seiyuu manzai duo- (Which reminds me, I'm extremely jealous about Kikuko Inoue going to Otakon. ONEE-SAAAAAAN~!!!)

Thinking about it, I really want to see some more cds and such, to tide us over until the movie. Don't get me wrong, the recent drama cd cracked me up, emphasis on the "crack" part. Ah! That "chorisu" obsession never ceases to amuse me. What I really want to see are character singles for the ace pilots. If they did that, though, I'd like them to have a duet with their "support" figures, too. Yeah, I'm hinting at a huge desire for an Akugiri duet, but Soma/Sergei and Patrick/Kati would be adorable as well. (I can still hear Alle screaming for "MARIE~!", in the background for the HRL one. Yes, I have too much time on my hands and no life.)

Random Anime Stuff

I seem to be keeping up with a lot more of the spring anime, than I have in the past. And for that matter, I was thinking this spring's selection was gonna suck. XD Looks like I was wrong!

I think my favorite series would have to be Pandora Hearts. It was boring at first, but I've become very addicted to it. And I don't really care how the animation looks, despite what some people say. You can have a good series, and not have the best animation around, you know. Besides with a good main cast, plot, and music selection by Yuki Kajiura, it more than makes up for it; IMO. My only complaint so far is that this series needs more Break and Sharon! Nonetheless, I think this one's going to be my new obsession, at least for a little while.

In second place, we have Ristorante Paradiso! It was a very close running between this and Pandora for first place, but Pandora won out, obviously. This calming series has a lot of elements that I enjoy; megane, food, character study, and a relaxing atmosphere. (I may like action, but I enjoy some stress-free anime, too.) What's really odd for me, though, is that my favorite character is tsundere-ojisan Luciano. While I know I have an intense dislike for the tsundere characters, he's one of the few that I actually like. I'd dare say that he's more like a straightman, like Tokiko Tsumura or Giroro. I also really like Gigi, as well. ^^

While I'm not as devoted, I'm also following Shangri-La and FMA 2. Shangri-La is, probably, my choice for third place. It's one of those series that everyone's ignoring or hating on, but it really isn't all that bad. I'm highly amused by how the setting is like a jungle-fied Tokyo, but the human race is still making the same stupid mistakes that we're making now. In other words; it's quite realistic, with a fantasy-like setting. My only real problem is the economic babble. As some may recall, I didn't exactly do well in economics. ^_^'

As for FMA 2, I'm only following it for the seiyuu lulz and for something to watch during G00's former timeslot. (BTW, the G00 2 dub starts at the end of the month! YAY!) While I was freaked out about my favorite science duo voicing Lust and Gluttony, I've come to highly enjoy them. I even found a cute pic of Lloyd, Cecile, Lust, and Gluttony on one of the Lloyd fanart sites I frequent. ^^ I'm not obsessed with it, but I am enjoying it.

Finally, and this is totally unrelated to the topic, I noticed that Yukiru Sugisaki finally updated her blog again. It wasn't anything too important; just her saying that she's sorry for not updating and to read Ascribe to Heaven...along with a little picture of Zero Enna from Megami Kouhosei. Now, I know she was referring to her blog when she was talking about the updates, but still, don't be so vague, woman. Some might interprit that as "Oh! Sorry that I haven't worked on Megami Kouhosei in seven years! I'll be getting back to it, soon!". >.> YEAH, I WISH!!! -sigh-

I'm Keeping It Short, This Time

Okay, I am really torn about tonight's Office season finale. There were moments that I liked; office team prank on Michael, the competition, and Michael and Holly owning the Buffalo branch, but...WHY THE HELL DID THEY HAVE TO DO THAT?!

The "that" that I'm referring to, in particular, is the recent development with Jim and Pam. If I haven't said it before, I freaking hate using pregnancy as a plot device. I've seen too many series get ruined because of it. (And no, I'm not talking about Ohgi and Villetta; though it was a plot device to save their unworthy asses. *rage*) It's like, one girl gets knocked up, and suddenly it becomes an epidemic! GAH! And I was waiting to see the Corporate Douchebags get their asses handed to them, too! >.<

Michael/Holly...why must you two be so cute and yet break my heart so much?! T_T When I heard that Holly and AJ were working on building a house together, I wanted to DESTROY!!! something! (Iceman FTW!) She and Michael really are soulmates, and I hope they can get together again. Either way, though, I just love her too much. Don't keep her away~!

For being a jackass for nearly a full season, I liked that Dwight went back to being the resident dork. In fact, I loved him so much, tonight. Though, I really wanted him to kick the ball right in Charles' face. God, I'd like to see someone kick his ass to the point where it's coming out of his mouth!

And David, you probably should've told the Buffalo branch about the closure beforehand. You have no one but yourself to blame for that one, so stop being a dick to Mike and Holly!

-sigh- I need to breathe. Too much rage. (Just think about Dad leaving for Canada, soon, and you'll be fine.)

Catching Up

Dang! Has it really been that long since I last updated here?! I'm so bad, I've been using my LJ to do most of my blogging, lately. Well, I'll take some time and do some chatting here, for now.

First, I've been as I usually am. Jobless, broke, mellow, yet I've had some more interesting moments. For one, I finally got a taste of Pudding Porn! kukuku~! I'll only say this; that doujin just further proved to me that Lloyd would make for one amusing sex partner. XD Of course, he's really not into that kind of thing, but...yeah...

If I haven't talked about it yet, I've seen the 8th Picture Drama, but I'm not totally satisfied with it. Basically, what I got from it, Cecile and C.C. are talking about how they're similar in regards to Suzaku and Lelouch. It was ambiguous, but it seems that Cecile still had her misplaced feelings for Suzaku. I can't decide how I feel about that whole subplot being abandoned. On one hand, it would have given her more development. On the other hand, I don't think my poor heart could take much more of the tension. The stupid engagement subplot was more than enough. Nonetheless, there was also a hint that she sees him in a familial sense. So, maybe my OTP isn't totally shot down, after all. I DON'T KNOW~!!! OTL

Oh yeah, on Tuesday night, Crispin Freeman had a lecture at UDT, and I got to go see it. The lecture was, basically, about female archetypes in anime. It was a lot of fun, and I loved how much he used Utena as an example! He even went over the movie, and gave his own commentary about it. (In a way, it's rather amusing; as Crispin voiced Touga in the dub.) The only downside was that my car stalled on me, while I was trying to get out. So, that turned into a family affair, but we did manage to get it working again. Honestly, the things I go through for my interests...

As for my spring anime series; I'm still in the middle of choosing which ones I want to follow. I'm totally watching FMA for the seiyuu lulz, Shangri-La's interesting and has Jouji Nakata as a transsexual, and Basquash (I still can't stop lol-ing over that name!) is highly entertaining. I still need to watch Eden of the East; episode one's been sitting on my hard drive for almost a week, now. I'm slightly underwhelmed by Pandora Hearts right now, but I'll probably stick with it for Akira Ishida's character.

Adding to that, I'm totally sticking with Hetalia. And yay for the announcement of a second season! I'm not totally obsessed with this series, but it's amusing. So far, I think the Axis Powers, Russia, and France are my favorites. I have an interest in Lithuania, but I need to actually see him in action. Hungary is pretty awesome, too! Fujoshi-nee-san FTW!

Well, I'll stop for now. Hopefully, I don't disappear for an extended period of time, again!

A Few Gundam Finale Thoughts

Okay, I'm keeping the main part brief, as I have a lot of fangirling I need to do. First, I'm satisfied with how the series ended. Second, I am anticipating the movie, very much. Third, I want to congratulate the Immortal Colasour on his marriage to Kati! And finally, I will be looking forward to when Tieria returns. I'm completely certain that he'll come back for the movie, and don't try to talk me out of it! I'm also really happy that Andrei's working on redeeming himself. ^_^

Now then, (here she goes!) you can probably guess what really made me happy with the final episode. Oh yes, my Union OTP is so freaking canon! Even though it wasn't explicitly stated, you know it is. Kata-yan and Sumeragi seem to be on a friends only level, judging by the picture on his desk. He gets his old dere-dere smile on his face, when Hamu enters the room; and he didn't even look behind him, he just knew. Add in everything they've been through and their interactions in the past, and I think it's pretty obvious. They may not have gotten the girl or the Gundam, but now they have each other; and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As for the series on the whole, I'm happy with it. There were some moments that dragged on, but I had a lot of fun. I'm officially admitting that I like G00 even more than Code Geass, as well. Heck, the contrast between the weddings has to say something! (Patrick/Kati>>>>>>>>Ohgi/Villetta, and you know it!) Fortunately, I didn't lose any of my respect for most of the characters (Saji and Marina, yes, but at least Saji regained some of it near the end.). I'm mainly directing that at Kata-yan and Hamu, as they seem to have lost a bunch of fans, but I stayed true to the Union boys the entire time. I even got a huge reward for my loyalty! Plus, G00 actually used their newer characters, instead of forcing them into every other scene just for kicks. The Innovators get put on the same level as the KoR, but at least they weren't totally boring...well, except for Anew, Bring, and Devine. As far as villains go, I freaking loved Ribbons. He knew what he was doing, and he did it well.

I haven't quite gathered my thoughts about the movie, yet, but there are two things that I don't want to happen:
1. I hope it won't tear up the ending, too much. I love what we got, and I don't want anyone getting split up again.
2. Let Hamu-sama do something awesome!

Finally, I hear that there's going to be a new drama cd coming out in June, according to a topic in the G00 comm I belong to. One of the Graham/Katagiri fanart sites I frequent has been talking about it, and mentioned something about A-Laws Private Academy or something to that affect. So, it might be similar to the first one. Who's up for some Bushido-sensei? That scenario could just be something that that person wants to hear, though. We'll just have to wait and see what we get.

Just One More To Go!

So, next Sunday is the final episode of Gundam 00. You know what? I'm really going to freaking miss this series; even more than Code Geass. Thinking about it, I think I like G00 a bit more than Geass. Geass was fun, but I'm still not exactly happy with R2, on a whole. Sure, Zero Requiem managed to redeem it a bit, but I can't accept the idea of it redeeming the entirety of R2. (On a random positive note, though, expect a Picture Drama Picspam coming up soon! The PD that I've been waiting for, officially, comes out on Friday!)

Getting back on G00, I have to rant/rave a little about the Trans-Am Burst sequence. As haxxy as it was, I am quite satisfied with it. It's DEM, but it wasn't like we were expecting it, either. It's not like a Pokemon randomly evolving in the middle of an important battle, and causing a shift in said battle. (I'm lookin' at you, Shinji's Electabuzz; taking the victory away from Hikari and Kouhei in the Tag Team Tournament!) Maybe that was a bad comparison, but the point is that I'm perfectly fine with Setsuna's God Hax Gundam.

While I know that Katagiri gets a lot of hatred, I still love him so much. I've loved him since the first episode, and his warped mindset never changed that. Obviously, while I have no intention of shipping him with Sumeragi, I'm glad that the two came to terms. I'm fully prepared for that pairing to get shoved down my thoat, though. Why would Sumeragi start falling in love with him now, even after all the trouble they've caused each other? I'm not panicking too much yet, as I saw that hug as more of a sympathy hug (which was much needed, IMO). Still, I just can't accept them as lovers.

I have no idea who Sumeragi could start a relationship with, but Katagiri needs to be with Graham. Heck, he's all that Graham has left! And I'd rather have Graham get a peaceful ending with Kata-yan, instead committing suicide either by blade or kamikaze. I know that we can't have same-sex relationships in primetime anime, but the bond between the Union boys looks more natural and deeper. Those guys need each other, more than ever. And besides, "Hamu-sensei is more interested in bishounen than bishoujo." "I'm glad you understand that, Katagiri." XD

Another Zetsubou Post

First, my trip to Addison didn't go quite as well as I had hoped. I added a few extra dvds to my bundle, but I didn't get to sell all of them. I was going to sell my Kaleido Star boxset to Anime Pop, but they would need the second season in order to take it. orz So, I still need to sell that one off somewhere. I'll try to get that done, this weekend if I can. Unfortunately, I only bought some Ramune-flavored Hi-Chew; which was only a dollar. It would seem that there might have been a con somewhere, because their turn-styles were missing. Not to mention that the Gunpla was seriously lacking again. Oh, well. It happens.

Next, I just found out why Sugisaki's been slacking on DN Angel over the past few months. -sigh- She started another series in a shounen magazine. In other words, "It's the same old story.". Now I'm totally convinced that I'll never get proper justification for my beloved Ernest-sama's death. Why you do this to me, onna?!

While people are probably aware of this, I got really depressed over G00, last weekend. I'm desperately trying to find a way how Kata-yan and Sumeragi could both survive the stand-off, but I'm having a lot of trouble with doing so. I don't want either of them to die, and I certainly don't want Hamu-sama to be lonely anymore. See, this is the reason why my Union boys should have been screwing each other's brains out, instead of dwelling on their grudges. Sumeragi has had no interest in Kata-yan, and Graham has no one to turn to but Kata-yan. If all three of them survive, I think the ending speaks for itself...unless they want to go ahead and force Sumeragi and Kata-yan together, just to keep "teh gei" out of G00. (Even though there's been more than enough homo-homo subtext between my boys.)

And on top of it all, Right Stuf is having a Bandai sale, and I really want to get the first part to G00. I did some calculations on the standard box, and it comes out to around $15; though it will probably be around $20, after factoring in S&H. Even if the LE version only comes with two manga, I'd still want it for the Stupid Sexy Lockon cover. On the other hand, the cover with the four Meisters is nice, too. Maybe I'll have enough after I sell my Kaleido Star box? With this, I add...WILL ANYONE FREAKING HIRE ME ALREADY?!?

Team Rocket Disbands?! Picsummary!

I knew it was going to be hard to decide which pics to use! I ended up taking waaaay too many of them, mostly of Kojiro. That's to be expected, though.

It starts out with another one of Team Rocket's attempts at stealing Pikachu. Pikachu Thunderbolts them away as if they were nothing (Which, sadly, is true.), and they blast off into a lake. After shaking off the seaweed from their bodies, Musashi and Nyasu are feeling down. Kojiro, on the other hand, recovers quickly, and tries to keep up the morale.

After walking to a nearby city, they catch a whiff from a ramen stand. Kojiro knows they don't have any cash, but Musashi and Nyasu go ahead anyway.

Nyasu's expression upon burning his tongue is priceless! (Actually, there's a bunch of funny expressions, in this episode.)

After attempting to dine and dash, TR sees the twerps coming into the restraunt. One of the cooks corners them and tells them that the manager wants to see them. Naturally, they thought they got busted, but that wasn't the case. This guy, Yusaku, was one of their kohai in training to become a part of the crime organization. Despite his bland design, I think he's quite cute.

D'AAAAWWWWW! The first thing this scene reminds me of, is the Lockon's Special Milk scene from G00. In fact, I could almost picture Kojiro saying, "It's on me".

Yusaku tells TR that they're more than welcome to eat as much as they like, which makes them very happy. However, the cook from before is kneading noodle dough, and it manages to escape his grip. Nyasu is quick with the Scratch attack, and cuts up the dough like something you'd see in a samurai movie.

Yusaku suddenly wants Nyasu to come work for him, which gives the Scratch Cat quite the fantasy. A rich kitty, surrounded by his ho's; Meowzy, Haruka's Skitty, and a random Lopunny, which I'm assuming is supposed to be his Playboy bunny.

LOL! If he's that turned on about his little fantasy, I'd hate to see how he would've reacted if Sakaki-sama was in it, too. XD However, Musashi and Kojiro tell Yusaku that Nyasu's their partner, thus putting an end to that idea.

Later, they confront the twerps again, in a giant Ramen bowl mecha. To accompany the mech, they even changed the motto to reflect the theme. Check out Koji-kun's Arcanine-print outfit, too. I want to say that's a throwback to Growly, but I'm not totally sure. Musashi's dress had a Gyrados on it. But, as usual, they get their butts handed to them again, and they blast off into the lake...again.

After re-emerging from the lake, Musashi yells at Kojiro about how the failure was his fault. Then, he yells back that it was Nyasu's fault, that time, which pisses the cat off. He then decides that he would follow the voice from heaven, and work at Yusaku's place. Kojiro doesn't want him to go, but Musashi tells him otherwise. Later, she decides to go her own way, too; following her path as Candy Musalina, the girl aiming to be Top Coordinator. After she takes her leave, Kojiro flips the hell out and screams that he'll fulfill their dreams himself.

You just can't help but feel bad for Kojiro; he's completely lost without his friends. However, he overhears Team Twerp talking about a Shiny Metagross, which gives him an idea. He'll catch the Metagross, give it to Sakaki, and Musashi and Nyasu, upon hearing about his success, will come back. Aww, Koji~! But, being Kojiro, you really can't expect him to do it, right? But like he says, "If you dream, you gotta dream big!".

Musashi overhears two plot device trainers about "a guy with an R on his shirt" going into the Shiny Metagross' domain. She runs back to the ramen stand to get Nyasu to go help rescue Kojiro, but he won't do it. He's finally found happiness in doing something he's good at, even though he knows he's abandoning Kojiro. Musashi understands, but she still runs off to help Kojiro, whilst trying to hold back her tears.

Kojiro calls out the Shiny Metagross, and starts to battle with it, but (of course) the Shiny Metagross is too powerful. It uses a psychic attack, causing a little human/Pokemon bondage in the process. Fortunately, they're saved by Musashi and her Megayanma. Kojiro's being tsun-tsun about Musashi saving him, saying that he was doing fine by himself, but Musashi teases him saying, "Don't be so cold! I know you were more than happy to see me!".

(Hey, Metagross, what does your scanner say about their power level?) OVER 9000 jokes aside, they decide to attack the Metagross together, but it uses disable on them; freezing them mid-air.

Just when it looked like it was the end, Nyasu comes in and saves them with his trusty bazooka! They have a little reunion hug, and the Shiny Metagross blasts them off. Despite blasting off again, they're happy to be back together.

Recent Stuff

First topic for the night, I will try to get the TR picspam up tomorrow. I still need to screencap it, and I'm quite sure there's going to be a lot of pics. There was a lot of Kojiro to go around, so sue me! Sadly, it looks like I won't be doing the Mamoswine vs. Aggron episode. From my understanding, the Aggron is just a wild Aggron. Stupid writers and their cockteasing! T_T

Next, I sent in another application, today! It's for a receptionist position at "a small, laid-back office", and I'm really hoping I get a call. That job just sounded too good to be true, and I was totally qualified for it. I just hope something works out, this time. I'm getting sick of sitting around and doing nothing, and I need money!

Speaking of money, there's a good chance I'm going to Addison this weekend. I still need to sell my duplicate Ryvius and Scryed dvds, and I'm adding my Kaleido Star thinpak to the bundle. It was an okay series, but it had too many stuck-up bitches to my liking. (I still couldn't get myself to stop hating Layla, even after she mellowed out.) But, after that, I'm going to look for a new Gunpla, hopefully. I'll be looking for something G00/Geass-related, anyway. I think I want to try out some Hi-Chew, as well. Blame it on those Hi-Chew King commercials! Those are just too amusing! XD

I might do an overdue Tytania post, after the picspam tomorrow. For the rest of the month, they're airing two episodes back to back, and the first one from last week was awesome. It's official, the clan is a whole lot more interesting than Fan's group. I'm even liking Lydia, now. She and Bal'ami are just so cute, in a big brother/little sister way. Of course, I'm still highly enjoying the homoincest subtext between Jusran and Ariabert. (Apparently, that's the official Romanization of their names. I prefer "Jouslain", but whatever.)

Some G00 Thoughts

First, I want to say that while I did enjoy seeing Wang and Nena die in yesterday's episode, I'm still sad about Hong Long's passing. He threw away his life for nothing. However, even though I flipped for a moment, I did not cry over his death. Too much was happening, and I was revving up for a bout with the real Graham Aker. It still frustrates me, however. Poor Hong Long.

Next, despite how far gone Louise is, I'm still certain that she's going to get a good end with Saji. They have to have all their time wasting amount to something, after all. Though that's not something that all of us want, but we don't work on the show. -shrug- I'm thinking either she's going to die (not so likely), or she's going to survive but remain in a vegetative state for a while (I'm going with this.).

Now for Marina...can Ali come out of hiding and off her and the kids, now? I really don't like the idea of them pulling a Macross and have her song bring peace to the world. I've seen some pretty cheesy stuff in Gundam, but that could easily take the cake for cheesiness. It's just too idealistic. Not to mention that the song itself sucks, and yet we're still getting it rammed down our throats.

Now, about that Hamu-service...OH YESU~!!! I've been waiting for some fanservice that's relevant to my interests, and I got some! I would say, that I'd want to embrace his Gundam, but he doesn't have one. (And I mean that in both ways.) Putting Graham's sexy, scarred, naked body aside, I still love him. I'm a little upset that he allowed himself to become Ribbons' pawn, in order to defeat Setsuna in a duel, but that's Graham for you. I'm worried about him, though. He can either die, defect, or quit and live peacefully. If he goes with either of the latter two, Katagiri had better not be too far behind. I need my Union boys to stay together!

Possible Pokemon Picspams Incoming?

Over the next month or so, there seems to be some interesting sounding episodes of Pokemon. One's another Team Rocket episode, so I'll most likely be doing a picspam post of that one. (I never did get around to doing a picspam of the Team Rocket Gets Fat episode, did I?)

Then, there's a Pokeringer competition. I bowed out during the Hoenn saga, so I never got to see the original Pokeringer episode; but I know that Kojiro was involved in it. Yes! I need a good Kojiro-related episode! Then again, all of the Kojiro-focused episodes are awesome. ^_^

Next, I hear that there's going to be a one-hour special at the end of next month, but the first part sounds very interesting to me. We all know that Hikari's Mamoswine is D/P's version of Charizard, right? Well, it sounds like they're pulling a Charizard Chills! on it against an Aggron. Now, I'm not sure if it's a wild Aggron or some random trainer's Aggron, but...Hentai Megane-kun has an Aggron, right? And he told her that if she needed to know something about Pokemon, she should ask him. I don't have any summary on the episode yet, but there might be a possibility for a Creepy Kouhei Picspam. OH GOD, I HOPE SO!!!!

I Think I've Hit Another Wall

I never got around to talking about this, last week, but I had a little bit of tragedy. My beloved Fujiya is gone; they barely lasted a year. I saw this coming ever since I found out it was there, but it was still felt random. My hometown's an uncultured hicksville, and then there's the economic crisis; so it shouldn't be surprising. But still, I just feel so bad for Sam and Tae. This was their fourth try, and it just breaks my heart to see them fail again. Plus, I never even got to say goodbye to them, which makes me feel even worse. Next, my dad just bought a huge-ass truck. I knew he was going to do it; I just knew it. -facepalm- We're in a crisis, and he ends up buying $32,000 truck. I should have spoken up about it more, but then again, he wouldn't listen anyhow. 'Taku!

I apologize for not doing my anime fannage, lately. I've been doing that over in my LJ, but I'll try to do some more over here soon. I actually haven't done some for the past few episodes of Tytania, to be honest. I just need to figure out the best way to cover the past three episodes. For that matter, I need to catch up with Linebarrels of Iron. Crunchyroll was acting stupid during 14, and I ended up stopping in the middle of it.

I don't think I need to go into the G00 front, for now. I'm sure anyone who's paid attention can figure out my feelings on what's been going on. And I'm starting to get worried about the series itself. I don't see it becoming as screwed up as Code Geass, but I am starting to worry that some of the plot points from season one have been dropped. As with Geass, I'd rather take plot/character development over fanservice any day. While the fanservice has dropped in G00, some things have been shoved aside nonetheless. -sigh- Now I understand the meaning of the term "Sunrise Sequal Syndrome". -_-' Stupid executive meddling. Let the directors do things their way, dammit!

Beyond Their Comprehension

So, last night, Sci-Fi had a mini Gundam marathon showing eps 21-24. Naturally, I ended up crying my guts out over Lockon, but I was so loud that Mom came in and started freaking out on me. I usually try to stay quiet when I cry because I don't like anyone seeing that side of myself; however, I just couldn't hold back for some reason. I knew it was coming, but it was just as heartbreaking as the first time. (Actually, I cried harder than the first time. Also, major kudos to Alex Zahara for his portrayal as Lockon. In my opinion, he ties with Miki; hell, I even think he sounded like Miki at times.)

The thing that gets me, though, is that people need to realize that it's just one of my quirks. I know its stupid for me to cry over an animated drawing, but when an animated drawing has a personality, of course I'm going to develop some sort of feeling for them.

Nine years ago, I started watching anime, and I got a teenage crush on Kojiro from Pokemon. My first episode was Holy Matrimony, and I immediately took to the poor guy. I still feel for him, but I've come to accept his place as one of the comedic villains. I even think he's become cuter, after all this time. Heh. Its funny that I'm talking about Kojiro and Lockon in the same post; two of my favorite Miki characters.

My more classic example would have to be my first "true love"; my beloved Ernest-sama. I think what initially attracted me to him was his gentility. All of the guys that I've been around have had a severe lack empathy, so I found Ernest's personality refreshing. Sure, he was weak and could easily be mistaken for a woman, but he did have his moments of strength. So, I ended up with an instant infatuation-turned-outright obsession for him. I think I'd even go so far as to say that if he were a woman, I'd still end up loving him.

Sadly, my heart was crushed when he sacrificed himself for Garu. However, it wasn't the fact that he died for the guy who he secretly loved; I was just crushed because he died, period. The next day, I cried off and on, but I could never tell anyone what happened. Mom kept prying me about it, but I had to turn her away because I knew she'd never understand how I felt. She eventually got the message, and naturally she disapproved of my reaction. It was the same thing that happened to me, last night.

I think that's part of the reason why I don't cry in front of other people. I'll either get bitched at, embarrassed, or no one understands. So, I swallow my emotions, but I also know that isn't a good idea. If I keep my feelings locked up, when they come out, its like a dam breaking at full-force. There have been moments where I've been close to reacting violently, but I've managed to stop myself. I'm serious, its freaking frustrating when no one understands your feelings.

I'm afraid that they just have to realize that I'm a totally different breed than normal people. I never gave anyone permission to control my feelings. They just need to get that I'm going to get upset over such things, whether they like it or not. If they can't accept that, then they should at least have the decency to shut up and leave me alone.

Geass R2 Picture Drama 6

Okay, I had fun with this one. Not as much as I would have liked, but it was still a lot of fun. It was another fanservice drama, but it really didn't have much T&A. In fact, Cecile's dress looks decent compared to what the other ladies (haven't) been wearing. Nah, the fanservice was geared towards us fangirls, even though the guys were fully dressed. Hey, I got some sexy Lloyd telling Schneizel to kick Gino's ass at gambling; I'm not gonna complain. Also, a note: I only capped the pictures that are relevant to my interest. Not that you would expect otherwise, of course.

First thing we see is Schneizel wheeling Nunnally into the casino; and according to them, Clovis designed it. Dang! Did Clovis design all of the fancy recreational places in Area 11?!

Guilford and Kannon chat with Cecile about gambling. Apparently, Cecile knows all about the subject. I guess it's fitting, since she showed her pool shark skills in Turn 20. Meanwhile, Suzaku and Gino both clean out at the slots. It seems that the wheels were slow because it was opening day at the casino. You know, fanservice. -shrug-

Anya and Nunnally seem to be pretty close. I'll admit it is kinda cute, especially with how they were talking about desserts. Anyhow, our super sexy Pudding Earl notices, and comments on the situation. OH YEEEESSSS! He is looking fine in that outfit! (If I were the only one using this comp, I'd make this into a wallpaper.)

Schneizel comments that they're so close because their souls were drawn to each other. Lloyd says that's unscientific (Of course!), while Kannon thinks it's romantic. "Well, us people without souls are living perfectly fine." (Why does that make me feel sad?) Kannon starts flirting with Schneizel and mentions the prince's lack of self-interest. This prompts a flashback of when the three were students...

First, I have to mention the female students uniform. It looks very similar to the one that Aoi and Faina wore in Infinite Ryvius! Anyhow, Kannon reveals that Schneizel was a prefect...and that he (Kannon) is a masochist.

Schneizel mentions that he never had to use the whip, after the little incident with Kannon. (Kannon's little "Ee" totally made him sound like Kouhei, when he agreed with him. XD) Returning to the present, Kannon mentions that he likes the way Schneizel is, and wants to see his future. In other words, he likes the evil prince just as he is. And thus, my opinion of Kannon just sunk even lower. Dammit, Kannon! At least my ukes will correct their semes when they're wrong!

The others walk up, and Gino is bragging about how awesome he was at gambling. (Oh, just shut up!) Guilford couldn't go all the way against an ally (AWWWW~!!! How cute!), but Suzaku won out in the slots. Still, it wasn't enough for the idiot, so he wants to compete against Schneizel. Kannon says that "The troops would feel uneasy about fighting under a commander who's a weak competitor." Lloyd adds, "Everyone would feel relieved if you thoroughly kicked his ass!" (ROFL! Lloyd, do you have any idea how much I love you?) The PD ends with Schneizel preparing to give Gino Weinberg the ass-kicking of his entire pathetic existence! I never thought I'd say this, but GO SCHNEIZEL!

Bored Again

As usual, I can't sleep and I'm bored. So, I'll use this opportunity to vent on some anime stuff that I've had on my mind.

First off, I'd like to take a moment on my stance on relationships in G00. I'll be honest, none of the main pairings are really working for me. In today's episode, Setsuna and Marina had a little chat, but I still can't see them as lovers. If they do manage to fall in love, they would have to do a lot to make me believe it, or it would be very forced. I'm also getting bored with Alle and Marie. I know they're soulmates and everything, but they really haven't done much outside of ep 7 to make me feel anything. And I really don't like Lyle and Anew; I find them both incredibly boring. There's still time to develop them, but I'm just not on that one. And I'm not even going to go into Saji and Louise, as I've said plenty on that one already.

I think the only canon ships I like are Kati/Patrick and Tieria's one-sided love for Lockon. Of course there are some fan pairings that I like: Graham/Katagiri and Alle/Sumeragi, for example. However, I know those won't amount to anything. It's still fun to think about, though; especially with the Union boys.

Oh, I also just heard a little bit more on the Hong Long front. Apparently, he loves his sister. Please, tell me that's just in a familial sense, because I see no reason why he should feel about her in an incestuous way. Why, Hong Long?! T_T

Moving along to Geass, I've only seen two pictures from this month's PD so far. After a few months of pure fanservice, it looks like we're getting back on track; though I think it's a little too late. However, I am totally looking forward to seeing this one for sure! I can't really go into it yet, but I think there will be a picspam post for this one. Even though Suzaku and the Knights of the Useless are in it, I also saw some Team Lancelot, Guilford, Kannon, and Schneizel. From the looks of it, it's going to go a little into Schneizel's past with Kannon and Lloyd. Mmm~! Student Lloyd!

Next month's PD is going to be about Rolo reflecting on his relationship with Lelouch, just before he saves him from the BK. (If they play Boku wa, Tori ni Naru during this, I'm gonna freaking lose it. T_T) Then PD 8 is going to be about Cecile, and PD 9 is going to be an epilogue of sorts; but we already knew this. Naturally, I'm totally going to picspam PD 8, since it's about Cecile's past. You know how it is. Anything involving Lloyd and Cecile gets extreme fangirling from me! <3

The Office 5-11

This one's going to be insanely short, but I only took a few things away by the end of the ep.

So, the main thing is that the secret's finally out. It took 17 days and an off-hand comment by Michael while driving away to do it. Basically, Andy's upset and wants real answers. After he finds out the truth, he and Dwight clash over Angela.

They decide to have a duel. (Please tell me I wasn't the only one who thought, "IT'S TIME TO DUEL!", when this was brought up! XD) The duel ended up with Dwight getting distracted by a note that Andy left on the fence, and was nearly ran over by his car. Fortunately for him, no broken bones. However, during their little shouting match, they both had an epiphery. Not only was she secretly sleeping with Dwight, but she also slept with Andy twice. (I thought Andy never saw her naked! Maybe it was for revenge purposes.)

In the end, the silently walk back into the office. Andy promptly calls to cancel the wedding plans, and Dwight throws away Bobblehead Dwight. Nooooooo! Someone, quick, save Bobblehead Dwight! I hate to see him go to waste like that! T_T

While this was going on, Michael was in a one-on-one meeting with David Wallace. Michael's got something going for him, because Scranton's doing a lot better than any of the other branches. (HA! Take that, Utica Bitch!) As much as I like David, though, this was kinda awkward and didn't go anywhere. It's simple, Scranton does better because Michael treats his employees like people, not mindless employees. He may not always do it in a proper way, but he does care.

As for Angela, she got what she deserved. I'm not sympathetic for her at all. She lead them on, now she needs to face the consequences of her actions. I'm sure she'll eventually get back together with Dwight, but it may take a while. Andy on the other hand, needs a friend. Of course, there's only one who I can think of right away; and that would be Oscar. He's delightful, after all! ^_^

Some Slight G00 Rants

Okay, I liked the most recent episode, but there were two things that really got to me. One involving Marina, and the other involving Katagiri.

First of all, I know I wanted Marina to do something, but GAH! Just when Setsuna had the chance to kill Ali, she had to start singing and distract him! >.<>.>

It isn't just that that bothers me about her, though. It's those ideals of her's, as well. I can understand the ideals of pacifism, but not all conflict can be solved in such a way. Sometimes, you have to fight for peace. Yet, she just sits and gets depressed because the conflict won't magically resolve itself. That's not how this world works, unfortunately. You just can't sit back and let a miracle happen on it's own. You have to fight for it, make it happen. That's what I love about Shirin. She realizes this, and is working towards that goal. If she dies trying, at least she made an attempt to do something about the conflict.

Next, I'm really concerned about Katagiri now. I feel as though he's taken the path of Nina and is going to do something he's going to regret. Ever since season one, I thought that he was a nice guy; he's one of my favorite characters, even. But lately, I feel like he's become a shadow of his former self. (I'm even ready to start referring to him as "Kata-yandere", now. XD) The thing is, I really don't like what he's turned into. I miss the awkward, geeky, nice guy that he used to be.

I could say the same about Hamu-sama, too. I'm not talking about his otaku-ism, I'm talking about his wanting to take down the Gundams. I'm at least hoping the battle will be a good one, because I've missed the kickass battles he used to have. But, since his new MS is a (Samurai) Flag, I think my hopes will come to fruition.

I do remember reading something a few months back about Katagiri being responsible for something. Maybe this is it? Maybe he really will kill Sumeragi? I have to wonder about something, though. If he did manage to kill Sumeragi, how would he react? Would he rejoice? Or would he go insane with guilt? Nina was consumed with rage and built a WMD, yet she regretted it after it's use. I can almost see the same situation occur here. As His Puddingness would say, "That contradiction will kill you, one day.".

The Ero-Ero Post Of Doom!

So, I finished watching my Seku-Hara dvd a little while ago. I only have a few complaints.

1. My disc started being stupid near the end of the third episode; specifically when Mochizuki's admitting to Fujita that he's a man-whore. It was still watchable, though.

2. It is a freaking crime that they didn't include the seiyuu free-talk on the R1 dvd. Mou! At least I know enough Japanese to get a good idea on what was being said, though. (Nico-Nico)

3. Is it totally wrong of me to want more of this? I know it's about 15 years old, but I really liked this.

With that out of the way, I will attempt to make some of my other thoughts known in a clean fashion. Okay, I said that I really liked this. It's an early '90s tongue-in-cheek *ahem* yaoi, but I highly enjoyed it. For the time period, it had good animation and good music. It was a little ridiculous at times, but this is a Hentai. It's supposed to ridiculous, right?

Of course, I must mention the seiyuu, as well. They did their respective roles very well. Naturally, I was all over Kashi-Tsu's role as Mochizuki, but I also liked Juurota Kosugi as Honma and Mori-Mori as Fujita. I'm not as keen on Mori-Mori as most people, but he amused me during Fujita's more cheerful moments.

Being the fangirl that I am, I need to single out Kashi for a moment. I further express my sadness that he no longer does seiyuu work, because he blew me away with his performace as Mochizuki. I'd even go so far as to say it's one of the best roles that I've heard him in. His best was probably in Gaogaigar, where he played three different characters; none of which sounded the same. (Penchinon/Tomoro sounded more "natural", but Entouji and Suno totally threw me for a loop.) Still, he really impressed me with this; especially with his cries during "work".

Character-wise, I enjoyed the main three of Mochizuki, Honma, and Fujita. Mochizuki's such an ukepile, and I love him for it. What makes it better is that, despite his unwillingness, he does have something of a backbone. Ah, I loved how he and Honma got some payback on that sadist in the second episode. Honma's pretty sadistic in his own way, too. It's pretty funny that he has the same seiyuu as Akio Ohtori from Utena, because Honma distinctly reminds me of Akio, in a way. And I can't help but feel sorry for Fujita. He loves Mochizuki, but Mochizuki loves Honma.

However, I'm not exactly fond of the Honma/Mochizuki pairing. I understand that Mochizuki had a secret love for Honma, but it just didn't feel right. Honma whored him out, played mind games, and was such a jerk to him. On the other hand, he did stand up for him in the second episode. Still, I don't think Fujita would've done such things to poor Mochizuki. -disappointed sigh- Why do most of my favorite ukes have such bad taste in seme?

Speaking of the triangle, I did feel a certain familiar vibe coming from it. Uke loves jerk, but another person loves said uke. -sigh- Somehow, it's fitting that Mochizuki and Ernest were voiced by the same person. Despite both being sou-uke, they do rise up to the occasion when it calls for it. Even the most patient of ukes have their limits, you know. Then, there's how far they'd go for the guys they love. Mochizuki will do anything to please Honma, while Ernest would die for Garu. Next, you have Fujita and Tune, who love the respective ukes; but would never get their feelings returned. Finally, the semes were both taken already. Honma was married and had children, while Garu and Leena were also a couple. Yeah, leave it up to me to make strange comparisons like that. ^_^' But then again, it's a pretty cliche situtation.

All in all, I had fun with this. It's not exactly something I'd watch every night, but only when I feel the need to.

Feeling Pretty Good

Sorry for the recent silence. Not much has happened, lately. That changed a little, though.

First, I got my ero-ero dvd in the mail today! Thank goodness Dad had to go into the office, because I really didn't want him to intercept this one. My brother did, however, but I quickly got it from him. I'm still not saying anything about it to anyone, though. I could just picture the looks on my family's faces if they found out I bought a Hentai dvd full of man sex. XD

Second, Mom's newest job seems to be going quite well. She got a job at a day care center nearby Dad's office, and she seems to be liking it a lot. She can carpool with Dad, I get a free car, and she really likes working with kids. (She's been mentioning her want for grandchildren a lot, lately. >.>') So, I'm happy for her.

Next, it sounds like Dad has a trip in a few weeks. Mom told me he mentioned 2/2. Oh, please, let it happen! That would be, like, awesome. Not only would he be gone, but 2/2 is also Lloyd's birthday. Yeah, I'm gonna get me some special pudding for that day, because I'm a dork like that! I'll have to come up with some special post for then, too. He's only my favorite scientist ever, after all. ^____^

Tomorrow begins the return of my current anime, starting with Pokemon D/P and Tytania! It was just one week off, but I freaking missed Tytania like crazy. I'm pretty much prepared to say "sayonara" to Alses, but I can't guarantee if there'll be tears or not. If it were Ariabart, I'd, more than likely, cry my freaking guts out.

Today's Little Adventure

Yep! Today, I made my solo trek to Addison! I did pretty well, except that I turned off at Hillcrest a little too soon, and ended up right at Anime Pop. ^-^' It took me a little while, and a phone call to Mom, to get me back on track. However, I finally made it to the mall.

I ended up stopping in the Chinese Laundry store and chatted with the cute clerk for about an hour and a half. XD Sadly, I got the hint that he's already taken; as he already has a child. When I heard him talk about his daughter, my inner thoughts are like, "Dammit!". He is an amusing person, however I can't tell if he's joking with me or not.

After that, I went over to Anime Pop and looked around for a while. While I did buy a few things, the merchandise was still lacking a bit. Heck, there was barely any Gunpla. The only Gunpla they had were the really advanced models, and I'm not ready for those yet. In the end, I bought two things: a wrap-around plushie of Kururu and a gashopon keychain of Rolo. Now I have something to remember the poor kid by. -tearful smile-

The only thing I didn't accomplish was selling off my duplicate dvds. Even though I don't want to, there is a new Movie Trading Co. over by Firewheel. Maybe, since the store's new, I might stand a better chance and getting a better price for them this time. I'm not holding my breath, but we'll see.

And speaking of dvds, I ordered one when I got home. That's right! I ordered the Seku-Hara OVA! -evil laugh- I even got it for 20% off. (Right Stuf's holding a sale, at the moment!) I just hope it comes in the mail when everyone's back to the daily grind. I'm going to say its from a different series, but I'll still have to do my hardest to hide it.

If I have time tomorrow, I might consider doing my end-of-the-year anime picks. It should be longer than the one from last year. Then again, that one was aimed at fall '07's anime. I'll see what I can come up with.

Day-After Christmas Post

Well, I hope all of you had a nice Christmas, this year. Mine was okay; could've been better, could've been worse. My only complaints are just the same old same old; aunts imposing their girly values onto me, and dad getting drunk...at my grandpa's house. I did like that my weird Uncle Jim caught onto that, though. Thank goodness that Mom came in a separate car, because I didn't have the patience to be the designated driver. And I sure as hell wouldn't want to ride along with a guy who'd gripe about any of our driving capabilities, even if I had my headphones on. Meh. Other than that, it was okay.

From what I got, my top favorite gifts were: Geass vol. 1, Keroro vol 16 (It had the story about Keroro waiting all night for that game! Yah~! I loved that episode!), Pokemon Ranger 2, and my Geass pt. 3 LE pre-order.

I'm planning on going out to Addison on either Monday or Tuesday, too. I think Anime Pop accepts used dvds, and I have two new ones I'd like to give them. Ironically, Aunt Marty got me dvds of Ryvius and Scryed, and she's had them since last summer. That was even before I considered watching Ryvius. @_@ But I already have them in box sets, and I'd rather not just let them go to waste.

Continuing on with the subject of Addison, I could've sworn Dad knew that I was planning to go by myself. When I mentioned it tonight, he got kind of offended by the idea. Then again, he was drunk; which is exactly why I want to go by myself. I want to get away for a while and do my own thing. Plus, I'd like to go to the mall to see if that cute guy is still working at that Asian store. Then, there's the fact that I might look for something adult at Anime Pop. I'd like to get the Seku-Hara OVA, if I can, and I can't let either of my parents know about it.

And another thing, it might be best for me to wait until next week anyway. I need to wait and see if there's something G00-related that I'll need to buy. There's a possibility that I'll need to get another Gunpla. It's just a stupid rumor, but I can't help but be paranoid over it. It's bad enough that my hormones are acting up, and we're doing Game Day on Sunday; but if this happens, I'm going to be in complete despair. I can just see myself now; depressed, suffering from cramps (Total assumption!), Dad being a jerk, and I'm being forced to play board games. If that comes to be the case, I might end up saying/doing something I'll regret. Gah! I'm digressing! Anyhow, a new Gunpla is a huge possibility.

On a different subject, there's the possibility of more Geass. I heard about this earlier this month, and I'm a bit surprised that it's taken this long for that to circulate. XD Anyhow, if I wanted more Geass, I'd really want an R2 remake. However, I'd be fine with side character OVAs or Suzaku of the Counterattack. As long as Lloyd's around, I'm all for it! And it would be even sweeter if I finally get my Pudding Service! Make it happen, Sunrise!

G00 2-12

I really don't have much to say about this episode. I think there were only two moments I enjoyed about it. The rest...ugh!

I'll start with the good. I am so happy that Ian's alive and in stable condition. I'm also really surprised that Linda's alive, too. She totally had "Canon Fodder" written all over her, and she survived that attack. Impressive. Then again, maybe they're not ready to start breaking Mileina just yet. I'd hate to see her get all depressed.

Second, thank you Ribbons. Wang's been needing that bitchslap for a very long time. I would have preferred it be issued by Hong Long, but that was good enough. It was pretty funny that they played a commercial of Bright smacking Amuro shortly after that, too. What would have made the entire thing epic, was if Wang actually said, "Not even my own father hit me.". XD And somehow, I'd actually believe that.

Now then, for my rant. I'm a lot more calmer than I was when I wrote my rantings in my LJ, so the emotion isn't quite as raw. However, I'm really tired of the BS between Saji and Louise. Louise, in what little mind she has left, decides that Saji must have been with Celestial Being the entire time she's known him. (I really hate it when characters jump to these really stupid conclusions.) Saji...I have no words. I used to like him, but now I totally hate him. I thought he got over the whole "Blame Celestial Being for everything" thing already. But no. If he really did end up taking the 0-Raiser and join the A-Laws just for her, I'd say, "Bye-bye! Hope you don't get hit by the Memento Mori on your way out." Even though I wouldn't mind if they both were killed, I don't want Red Haro destroyed. I love that little guy too much!

I just feel like we're wasting too much time on their little personal drama, while they're not even that important. Seriously, the rest of the Meisters have been shafted lately. Alle and Lyle have barely done anything. Marie's become the resident housekeeper, which is a total crime. Graham's been gone for a while now, and that really burns me up. (Unless he's making out with Katagiri somewhere.) As far as I'm concerned, Saji and Louise are G00's version of Gino and Anya. I DON'T FREAKING CARE ABOUT THEM! STOP SHOVING THEM IN MY FACE! And for that matter, that BGM that they used for their little break-down scenes was totally wasted on them. Don't defile Lockon's death music, you bastards! T_T

Now that that's out of the way, let's shift over to Andrei's sucky love life! I really liked his little moment with Louise, despite that his words didn't mean shit to her. Yeah, I like him because he sounds like Lloyd, has a father complex, and is a pervert. I do like that he does have the occasional moment of "depth", though. I was rather amused when he called Louise out on saying that she knew someone on the opposing side. That was something I'd expect Lloyd to do; plus, he was totally sounding like him at that moment. XD I love him for all the wrong reasons, but I like having him around.

Well, I hope that the next episode will be better than this one. I'm a little paranoid, though. I just really hope that rumor I heard the other day doesn't come true. And if Saji's the cause of it, I hope he pays dearly.

Need Liptia Tea!

As of late, I've become quite fanatical about Tytania. Sure, it's still not really going anywhere, but I can see that changing very soon. But I'm sad that it's so unpopular. Is it because of the lack of action? Is it because Fan's group isn't doing anything productive? Perhaps the lack of Liptia Tea references, as of late? I guess it's just going to be more of a sleeper hit. That's too bad, but I still love it.

I've officially decided that Ariabart's my favorite character. It's strange because I hated Jeremiah in season one of Geass, and Ariabart is very similar in the "arrogant military man who makes an epic fail move". Still, just seeing how hard he took the failure and get kicked when he was down made me feel bad for him. Besides that, there's just something about him that I like. Not to mention that he isn't really lacking in the looks department, either. He may not be as pretty as Idris or Alses, but I do find him to be handsome.

I do like a lot of the other characters, too. I'm still liking Fan and Miranda, and I'm slowly warming up to Jouslain. For a while, I felt like Jouslain was the guy who appeared to be nice, but is really a manipulative bastard. However, those thoughts are disappearing. Over the past few episodes, I've become more comfortable with him. He's shown that he can be a nice guy, and I think his interactions with Lydia, Bal'ami, and Ariabart highlight this. As for the other characters, I'm rather "meh" on Zalisch and Idris, but I do like Alses. I'll need to spend more time watching the other characters before I can really form an opinion on them.

As for my token OTP, I'm totally for Jouslain/Ariabart! Yeah, it's wrong in so many ways, but it's so cute at the same time. Jouslain's the only one who's been kind to Ariabart, so far. For a while, I was afraid that Jouslain was just playing Ariabart, in order to gain some support. While that worked to an extent, I do feel like they enjoy each other's company. In fact, I think the only time I've seen Ariabart smile is when he's with Jouslain.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Bal'ami is like Gino+Ohgi? I find him more interesting than either of those jerks, though. He started out wanting to assassinate Ajman, for his father, but now he's acting as Lydia's bodyguard/big brother. While I find that little relationship to be cute, I don't really like Lydia. She kinda annoyed me in episode 9, especially when she kept talking down to Francia. What the Hell did Francia do to deserve that? Seriously.

Tomorrow's episode should be pretty interesting. At the end of last week's ep, Lira got captured by the empire. Now, I've never felt anything for Lira, but I know Fan likes her. (Or he thinks he likes her.) I honestly don't know why he does, but yeah. And from the looks of it, she's been taken to Alses' place. From the hints in the ED, I think he's going to kill her; and that could be the trigger to get Fan's butt into gear. I just wish it didn't take this long to do it.

This One's For You, Maddie!

You know, I have a long history of crying over characters when they die. It started with my first anime crush, and it's happened ever since. And everytime it happens, I can never talk about it to anyone. I tend to look like a freak because of it, and my parents especially make me aware of this. But, this time, it isn't a character, but the character's voice actor that I'm mourning over. Earlier today, I heard that Maddie Blaustein, Meowth's VA, passed on.

I didn't want to believe it. I just wanted it to be some sick rumor. However, you don't normally joke about this kind of thing, let alone that it was about a VA that rarely anyone outside of the Pokemon community talks about. Yes, I'm freaking upset over it, and have shed some tears over her passing. Not like I normally would, but those tend to come later after it sinks in more. And yes, I'm probably making a big deal out of it, but you know what? I don't freaking care! Pokemon was a part of my beginning as an anime fan, and I feel like I just had another part of my childhood taken away! I loved her take on Meowth! She was Meowth!

It's so strange. Just yesterday, I was thinking about the Pokemon Food Fight episode; remembering the scene where Meowth is fighting Snorlax in the Mecha-Meowthinator. I always got a good laugh out of that fight, due to the absurdity of the mecha and Meowth's screechy voice. To be quite honest, that's part of the reason why I stopped watching the dub, after the big VA fiasco. I just couldn't picture Meowth without Maddie's voice, same with Eric Stuart and James. (I was watching Decendants of Darkness last night, and hearing Stuart's James voice coming out of Watari's mouth amused me a lot. I mostly watched it for Liam O'Brien's sexy voice, though.)

Anyhow, I'm thinking of digging out my old Pokemon tapes and watching them, as a tribute to her. It's the least I can do. I don't think I have the Go West, Young Meowth episode, though. T_T I'm watching the Food Fight one for sure, though. And the Ninja-Poke Showdown! I believe that's the episode she started voicing Meowth in. Pretty cool, since my favorite female du jour debuts in that one, too.

Well, I think that's all I can really say on the matter. I send my condolences to her family and friends. She will certainly be missed.

The Office 5-10

I really don't know what to say about this one. I'm very torn about a few of the issues that came up; such as the cheating and Meredith's drinking. It was fun when it was fun, but when it got serious I felt like I was about to cry sometimes.

First, that prank that Jim pulled was awesome! It's been a while since he's pulled a good prank on Dwight, and he delivered beautifully. I think that one ranks with the popping of Dwight's fitness orb. For some reason, I just find Dwight falling down to be hilarious.

Even though Phyllis is kind of a bitch now, I loved her in this episode. I like seeing her stand up to Angela, since Angela's the one who puts her down most of the time. Plus, she can throw much cooler parties than she can, in my opinion.

Dwight and the dolls...lol. People are already questioning if that was out of character for Dwight to buy toys in bulk and sell them for a higher price, but I find it to be totally in character. Remember, this is the same guy who sneaks around people's houses to see how safe they are. XD "Fa la la la la la la ka-ching!" He's become more and more of a douche, but I still can't stop laughing over his antics.

Okay, time for some more serious stuff. First, Meredith got drunk and her hair set on fire. So, Micheal decides to "Begin an un-armed intervention" (Sorry, I had to say it!), to try and set her straight. -sigh- It was rather ironic that Dad called during this part, you know. It was like twisting the knife in my chest. Add in that Micheal tried to force her into a rehab center, and I was about to freaking lose it. Two hardships I've had to endure, this year, shown in one episode. At least Micheal's heart was in the right place, sort of. T_T

Next, Toby's such a loser sometimes. I knew he was just going to miss out on the dolls, but Darryl let him buy his for $400. However, I don't think Toby wants it, anymore; seeing as how the doll is, well, black. (I apologize for the non-political-correct-ness of that statement.) Seeing as how he was breaking down about wanting the doll made me think that he's on his way to a real meltdown, soon.

Then, there was the big reveal of Angela's infidelity. I have to be honest, she put it upon herself. Thus, I have absolutely no sympathy for her over it. Now, everyone but Andy knows about it. He's going to know, eventually, though. Maybe it'll be discussed over their vacation? I'd rather have this be one of those off-camera things, because I'd rather not see Andy's reaction to this. If he goes back to pre-anger management Andy, I don't care. He has every right to, in this case. Hopefully, we'll know after the hiatus.

I have to talk a little bit about Andy, now. I'm not fond of him, but lately, he's been breaking my heart. He's completely oblivious to Angela's cheating, and he's really hyped up for the wedding. In one of last week's deleted scenes, he was crying about how the wedding plans were not going as planned. And I really wanted to smack Jim for telling him to stop playing the sitar. Man, and I thought he was really cute with the sitar, too. -whimper- Can Oscar be the one to comfort Andy in his time of crisis?

This one's going to be pretty short, as not much really happened. It was another set-up episode, with a lot of the same old same old. There were a few interesting things that happened, though.

-I totally applaud Shirin for losing her patience with Marina. They just lost their country, and Shirin isn't going to sit idly by and be useless; unlike her princess. Personally, I would've liked to have had another epic bitchslap, but Shirin's criticism was good enough. Sorry, but Marina's naive ideals about war are pathetic. I can't tell who's ideals are worse; her's or Boku-Suzaku's and Euphie's.

-Three new characters are introduced: Linda Vashty, Anew Returner, and Bring Stabity (Or is it Stability?). I'm not expecting Linda to survive for too long, but if Ian goes down with her...T_T. Anew is working for the Vashtys, and was employed by Wang. I really don't know what to think of her, at the moment. Bring is a man! For the sake of making an obscure reference, I'd like him for fight against Lyle, just once. Ryuusei vs. Raidese! (I never got around to finishing that one, sadly.)

-Wang funded the construction of a big freaking laser called Memento Mori. The A-LAWS use it to destroy another part of the middle east. Also, Sergei isn't too far from the destruction, and he could potentially have been injured. I don't think he's dead, though. Seeing the Wild Bear die like that would be a huge insult to his character. Besides, he needs to settle things with Andrei.

-On the subject of Wang, I'm still just waiting for her to really screw up. I have about three or more potential candidates who could off her: Hong Long, Ali, or any of the Innovators. Of course, I'd love to see Hong Long do it, but just as long as she dies, I'll be happy. Just how does a BFL help change the world, anyway? -Is suddenly reminded of Damocles.-

-We have another character back, too! Hallelujah! I wasn't too sure if he actually disappeared in the season one finale or not, but I'm glad to see him back. I feel a little bad for Alle, but he needs Halle in order to fight. Plus, the split personalities makes him far more interesting. I still love him, though, regardless. I just hope that this doesn't cause any problems between him and Marie. Then again, Halle does have the potential to be an interesting bed partner. kukuku~!

Man, I hope we get another scene with the Union boys, soon. I missed them, in this episode. Well, there was that flashback with Katagiri, Sumeragi, and Kati, I guess. But conversations between Hamu and Kata-yan are so much fun.

Some Random Geass Thoughts

First off, I should probably say "O-tanjoubi omedetou!" to Lelouch and my dad. So strange, having those two share a birthday. Same thing with Makoto Kino, aka Sailor Jupiter. (My personal favorite senshi!) And as such, we ordered rebellion-supporting pizza for dinner, tonight. XD

And speaking of Code Geass, tonight was the dreaded Turn 5. It appears as though there was something I had forgotten at the beginning of the episode. I totally forgot about Asahina's part in the BK's rant to Zero! I guess it wasn't quite so random for him to become more and more suspicious before the Fleia attack, then. As for why I forgot, it was something buried deep under Chiba's bitching, me being annoyed by Gino and Anya, and tons of T&A. >.>'

Moving on, I've heard rumors about PD 6 being about Nunnally's inauguration party. Okaaaay...why do that when they could focus on some one-on-one time with Nunnally and Kallen instead? Oh, because they want to shoehorn in Gino and Anya again. -does her Yuki Aiba impression- They weren't satisfied with whoring the screentime away in the anime, and now they're doing it in the side materials. Hmph! That really pisses me off. -/impression- Seriously, though, I noticed that happening a long time ago. I'm begging you, Sunrise, quit shoving those one-dimensional characters down my throat at every turn!

Actually, I heard a theory about Anya and Nunnally yesterday. It's been theorized that the writers needed Anya to do something, so they took part of Nunnally's plot and shifted it onto her. It wouldn't surprise me, personally. I do recall from way back that Nunnally was supposed to have some sort of secret. Perhaps Marianne was supposed to transfer her soul to Nunnally's body in the original script? I do remember thinking that was plausible. -sigh- If that's true, then maybe my theory about Kannon taking away Lloyd's connection to Schneizel isn't too far off either. But we'll never know, unless they release some more info about the original R2. T_T

The Office 5-9

I'll be honest, I felt this episode was a bit off. It did have some funny moments, but there were a few things that I just didn't like. :/

First of all, I'm glad that Oscar is getting more screentime. He's my third favorite background character, next to Kevin and Creed. He's probably one of the most level-headed employees, if not the most level-headed of the employees. And I was totally on his side about the copier.

Pam, what happened to her? I know she needs to be more assertive, but she really came off as a bitch tonight. So what if Jim would rather get a new copier because it the current one sucks? Big deal! I've had to sit in some pretty crappy chairs, and I've been able to deal with it. (Heck, I'm sitting in one now, because the other one appears to have actually broken, this time. >.>) Still, that's no excuse to throw away a good piece of tiramisu! I'm probably just being hard on her, but she has this way of really annoying me sometimes. She annoys me because she's too much of a doormat; then, she annoys me because she's being bitchy. (Does that make her a tsundere or a yandere?)

-sigh- Dwangela...there's a line from a song that pops into my head, after seeing what happened tonight. -sings- Kimi wa dare to kiss wo suru~? (Who are you going to kiss?) I'm not too thrilled with what Dwight did; I fully admit that it was stupid for him to trick Angela into marrying him on the spot. Angela, however, is starting to remind me of Villetta. She'll throw herself at whomever she can benefit from, in a way. In this case, she's throwing herself at Andy because Dwight did something she didn't like. Right now, I feel sorry for both Dwight and Andy. Dwight's obvious, but even though I'm not too fond of Andy, he's going to get his heart broken in a really bad way.

I'm not as big of a Jim fan as most other fans are, but I have to applaud him for putting up with Pam's attitude tonight. That little revenge prank he pulled at the end was perfect. I know I probably wouldn't have been quite as forgiving as he was, if I was in his shoes. It still baffles me that they went with the chairs instead of the copier. However, I guess they're just going to have to deal with it.

Michael was in one of his better forms, tonight. There were plenty of Michael Scott-isms. My personal favorite was when Toby interjected, and he responded, "You're the silent killer! Go back to the annex!". XD I feel bad about what happened to his coat, though; as hilariously disturbing as it was. Poor Michael!

Code Geass SE 6

I haven't listened to the Kaguya track, yet. I think I'm in love with the other two tracks, though. Even the song, despite being sung by Gino and Xingke.

The song, Reason, sounds like it really should be sung by Kazuma and Ryuho. It sounds quite a lot like Drastic My Soul. And if I haven't said it before, I LOVE Drastic My Soul. So, I'm pretty convinced Gino and Xingke just got the song to make a reference to Scryed.

The first track...what can I say? Despite that it didn't consist of karaoke at all, it was freaking hilarious!

-When Suzaku's group came in, Rolo called Lloyd "Hentai Megane"!

-They discuss pick-up lines, for a while. Lloyd went first, then Schneizel, and Gino. Their lines were lame, to say the least. But don't worry, Your Puddingness, you had me at "OMEDETOU~!!!"! What was really funny, though, was that Gino's line turned Jeremiah on! He started talking in a weird way, too. XD

-Jeremiah rambles on about his issues with a woman he used to know? (I'm not quite sure on this.)

-Lloyd then turns it over to Xingke, who ends up collapsing. Rolo is worried about him, and goes sou-uke for Xingke.

-Gino starts boasting about some of Suzaku's pick-up lines. He refers to a time with a girl at a "Japanese Popular Restraunt", though Suzaku was just generally conversing with her. Nonetheless, Lelouch has Suzaku repeat the phrases he used, back then. This...ends up turning on Schneizel, Lloyd, Xingke, and Gino. (Woah! I guess Lloyd really does have a sex drive, after all.)

-It's Lelouch's turn, and he uses his Geass to make people love him. Then, Geass Cancelor. (Rolo: Nii-san, kakkoi~!) This causes a back-and-forth Geass/Geass Cancelor "fight". He ends up Geassing the other guys, and Jeremiah keeps Cancelling it.

-After that fiasco, they agree to play an "Ou-sama Game". Lelouch doesn't want to, but decides to after some persuasion from Schneizel. (Ara! So competitive, ne?) Rolo gets chosen, through a lottery selection, to head the Ou-sama Game. He decides to play a game where two people are at two ends of a snack stick (Giant Pocky, anyone?) and have to eat it...and eventually kiss. The victims end up being Lelouch and Suzaku, which pisses Rolo off. XD But, "The King's orders are absolute!"

-After some embarrassment and some intense commentary by the other guys, Lulu and Suzaku kiss. Innocent Days starts playing, and Rolo screams, "NII-SAAAAAAAAN!!!". XD For me, though, what really cracked me up was Rolo's scream, rather than Suzaku stopping and Lulu kissing him.

Next, Motorcycle Man Jeremiah! This was awesome! It played out like a cheesy tokusatsu show, except it's more of a radio drama.

-Jeremiah, as a transforming motorcycle cyborg, making funny "vroom-vroom" noises. I love this guy!

-Diethard is the narrator for this story! There is so much love from me, here! I love Jouji Nakata's voice so much!

-So, the Royals are the bad guys that live in Hell Pendragon. Suzaku also works for Koutei-chan, as well.

-Lloyd runs a Maid Bar, where Cecile's the Chief Maid, and Shirley and Kallen work for them. -imagines Lloyd wearing a bartender's uniform and drools- Anyhow, Lelouch and Jeremiah seem to frequent there a lot. Lelouch order coffee, and Jeremiah orders Orange Juice. (Orange juice: the drink of LOYALTY!)

-Cecile answers a phone call, and they send Shirley out for a while. I really didn't mind Shirley at all, in this track. After she leaves, Lloyd teases Lelouch about his feelings for her. Cecile reprimands him for it, due to Lelouch being a special agent. (Complicated secret identity stuff, and all that.)

-As it turns out, Shirley get kidnapped by Britannia. Lelouch has Jeremiah transform, and they race off to save her! As cheesy as the Kamen Rider thing is, I love it! However, Lloyd can't help but feel like something bad is about to happen.

-SPINNING KURURUGI KICK

-While Lulu and Jeremiah fight the empire, Lloyd and Cecile are left in the Maid Bar alone, while minions of the Empire attack. "Dammit! I knew that Lelouch and Jeremiah were walking into a trap!" Cecile trys to fend them off, and tells Lloyd to run for it, but he can't do it! (And the Lloyd/Cecile fanatic goes wild!) "Cecile-kun!" "CHOUKAN!" "CECILE-KUN!" "Choukan~! T_T"

-They save Shirley, and Lulu and Jeremiah face off against Schneizel. Jeremiah uses his "ohayo gozaimashita" wave and defeats Schneizel! Next, Hell Pendragon Emperor Charles shows up and uses the Gefjun Disturber to disable Jeremiah! Then, they find out that the Shirley they saved is not really Shirley. It's really Shinigami-Hime Cornelia posing as Shirley! DAI PINCHI! What will Special Agent Lelouch and Motorcycle Man Jeremiah do?!

-Sadly, this track has no ending. It's like the first episode of a series, complete with a next episode preview. NO! I want to hear how Lloyd and Cecile manage to get away from the Empire's evil minions! And how will Lulu and Jeremiah get out of this mess?! Sunrise, please, continue this is some way!

Union Pride!

Okay, here's my Union fangirling post. I just wanted to say a few things about my favorite faction, as well as my favorite fan pairing. X3

So, why do I love the Union so much? I think it's the way how they do things. Don't get me wrong; the HRL had some competent pilots and an excellent man leading them, and despite the epic failure of Patrick, Kati does the AEU proud. The Union, however, just seems more laid-back. In fact, I adored all the guys from the Union. Not just Katagiri and Graham, but the rest of the Flag Fighters, too. In my opinion, those guys were men. They weren't all GAR like Graham, but they were men that I could respect.

I'll fangirl over Graham and Katagiri in a minute, but I want to say a few words about the other members of the team. I had a soft spot for Howard, in particular, and was nearly in tears when he was killed. I would've ended up crying for sure, if Katagiri was killed in that attack, also. But it was because of his death, that Graham pulled off one of the coolest fights in season one. Darryl needed more screentime, in my opinion. I liked him, but not as much as Howard. He still wanted to honor his leader, but he also ended up dying for him. Then, there was Eifman. He witnessed too much, and payed with his life on the same day that Howard lost his. I think he was one of the coolest elderly characters I've ever seen in anime. And you know he had to have been quite the looker when he was younger. Just look at Moreno, he was hot back in the day.

Now then, time for some BiriGura love! Between the two, I ended up liking Katagiri first. I think that was partially due to my love of those scientist characters, but he also seemed like a pretty nice guy. Plus, unlike most people, I like his hair. There's nothing wrong with a guy having long hair! However, if there's one thing I have a problem with, it's his crush on Sumeragi. I had a tendency to cringe everytime he'd get near her. While part of it was because I shipped him with Graham early on, I also knew that she would end up using him somehow. (Note: Just to remind you, Sumeragi is my favorite female in this show!) Of course, that did end up happening, but not quite in the way he thinks she did. So, now he's bitter and wants revenge. Poor Kata-yan; at this rate, there's only two people that he can really trust anymore. His uncle and Graham, that's all he seems to have now.

Let's see, what to say about Graham? I was sort of ambivalent towards him, at first, but he became one of my favorites in no time. Even though he's a little crazy and lovestruck over the Gundams, he is one of the most competant pilots in G00. While he constantly impressed me on the battlefield, he even impressed me off of it, as well. The man had honor. He had a promise, and he kept it, until the end of season one. After sustaining damage to his face, he donned a mask and a new persona. Now, he's an unhinged man whose acting like a bitter ex towards the Gundams.

As for why I love to ship them? There's a number of reasons for that. One, I just love the way how they interact with each other. They distinctly remind me of a few other pairs that I've supported in the past, some were also canon, by the way. However, I also know that it's futile to get too into shipping them. One was in love with a woman he had a crush on since they met, and the other was a mechaphile. And now, I don't think either of them wants to fall in love again. ^_^'

In a way, they bring out the best and the worst in each other. When I say "the worst", I'm talking more about their current situations. They're both bitter and want revenge, and I can see them supporting each other to the end. I'm sure it's going to end horribly for both of them, but if they die together, at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing the entire group will be back together again. I'll still cry like a madwoman, though.

It's easier when you look at it in fangirl vision, but there are a few moments where you can see the subtext. I started shipping them right from the first episode, personally, because of how they were with each other throughout the entire thing. There was just something that screamed, "more than best friends", to me. Then, there was the scene right before the Thrones came back for a second round. Katagiri is fixing up Graham's Flag, even though he was injured. Once again, I saw some subtext there.

Either way, I feel like those two support each other well. As I've said before, I don't expect anything to come from it, but it is fun to think about. If there's one thing I do want to happen, it's this: I just want them to save themselves. I don't really see it happening, but as long as they're there for each other, it'll be fine. In the end, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

I was just going to copy/paste my LJ entry, but I'm restless and need something to do.

It was kind of hard to follow the sheer epicness of episode 8, but this one was also really good. There were two scenes that totally had me fangasming.

First up, Ali vs. the Meisters. Yes, we finally had a little fight with Ali. It started out with just him, Setsuna, and Tieria, but Alle and Lyle show up later. Poor Tieria; after getting mindraped last episode, Ali castrates Seravee. He wouldn't give up, though. Not with Ali being the man that killed his Lockon. After Alle and Lyle show up, Ali flees. Tieria wanted to go after him, but everyone else didn't want him to. Either way, he wouldn't have been able to defeat him.

When they get back to the Ptolemy, Setsuna tells Lyle what happened between Ali and Neil. Now, here's where Lyle reveals a big contrast between him and his brother. Instead of harboring a grudge, he would rather move forward; whereas Neil put his own grudge before the revolution of the world. I'm conflicted over this. Lyle's obviously the bigger person, but I also loved Neil. I almost want Lyle to loosen up a bit, but that would remind me of Neil, too. T_T Seems as though I'm just as bad as Tieria when it comes to Lockon.

Okay, I'll admit it, I'm starting to tolerate Louise a bit more. She's nowhere near as annoying as she used to be. Looks like the punishment that she took had a pretty good effect on her, ne? Of course, maybe Andrei has something to do with it. The dork's taken a liking to her, and has been perving over her for the past few episodes. XD It's really funny if you think about it. Shiratori just voiced the most asexual guy in Geass, and now he's voicing this pervert with a daddy complex. Ah, Andrei and I could get along rather well! Anyhow, he ended up doing a background check on her, and found out her past with the Gundams.

Oh, Patrick came back last week, and this week had his first blasting off for the season. I never liked him much, but I have missed seeing him fail all the time. I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

My favorite favorite scene in this episode was definitely the reunion between Graham and Katagiri. YAY! MY OTP IS BACK TOGETHER~!!! I did wish that the scene could've been a little more dramatic, but it doesn't matter. Katagiri recognized Graham right away, so he probably knew about Mr. Bushido beforehand. But Graham tells him he can call him whatever he wants, even he thinks it's an annoying name. (Oooh~!) Anyhow, Graham knows that Katagiri's working on a new prototype model and wants him to paint it in his colors. Also, he wants the fastest speed and the strongest sword. (Samurai Flag, anyone?) Kata-yan's only condition is that Graham eliminate Celestial Being, which Hamu-sama complies with. Mmm~!

The Innovators amuse the heck out of me. I'm not too fond of Ribbons and Healing, but I like Regene and Revive. Revive especially amuses me, for some reason. When he and Kati were owning Lindt, he just looked like a really cute kid. (Speaking of which, Lindt having a tantrum and refusing to work later cracked me up. He can dish it, but he can't take it.) Regene, on the other hand, interests me. I don't really understand what he wants or whose side he's on. Still, there's something about him that I just can't really shake.

Continuing on the subject of the Innovators, Tieria is still having trouble accepting who he really is. He should be amongst the rest of them, but he also likes where he's at. While Neil may not have been the best guy around, he did have a huge influence on Tieria. He made him human. Poor Tieria, he's really suffering, right now. And next week, it looks like he gets more mind rape while taking a shower. Maybe someone will walk in on him, and will see just what he really is. I'm pretty sure he's sexless, but leaning more towards the male side. Still...shower scene...Why couldn't we have more manservice in R2, Sunrise?

Oh, Kati also sent Sumeragi a message during CB's escape to space. The little flashback scenes were great. Kati was hot, back then. And Katagiri...looks frighteningly like me. That outfit he was wearing looks like something I would wear. o_o I just lack in the bangs department.

I think that's all I wanted to say about this episode. However, seeing as how my favorite pairing has come back together, I want to do a separate post on them. So, I'll be doing that soon.

Keroro 240 Picsummary

Since I still don't have my G00 raw, I'm going to go ahead and do the picsummary post that I promised. Though, I guess what I'm about to do isn't really a picsummary. Picspam with captions is more like it. I really haven't done something like that for a while, you know.

After seeing that Kururu got a special order from HQ, Keroro starts stalking him for answers. While having lunch, he and Tamama notice that Kururu isn't eating curry, but soba noodles.

Toku-Me Soucho, Kururu Soucho!

Hee-hee! Kururu and Mutsumi enjoying a sauna, and discussing "the plan". I'm happy that Mutsumi is getting more screentime, as of late. He's really not as bad of a character as most people think he is. I wish I could post some pics of them working out, but it's one of those "see to understand" things.

Giroro gets paranoid over the thought of Kururu and Mutsumi involving Natsumi in their plan. No, don't take his beloved pictures of Natsumi. He "needs" those!

When Kururu goes to look for Natsumi, he gets stopped by Keroro and Tamama...wearing gangster Pekoponian suits. Man, Tama-chan's pathetic to get kicked by Kururu in that way. XD

Suddenly, Kururu unleashes the fruit of his training, and kicks their asses...literally.

It turns out that Kururu's mission was to send the Keron Natsumi Fan Club a disc with some interesting material on it. Of course, Kururu being Kururu, he switches the discs of Natsumi and the Mutsumi disc he gave to her. So, Natsumi ended up watching herself strip, while the Keron Saburo Fan Club got some fanservice of their own. XD Nice one, Kururu!

Part two starts off with Keroro agreeing to wait in line for a new occult video game for Fuyuki. I can't help but laugh at the hat he's wearing, and how it contrasts with his head.

Keroro gets to the shop, and there are two otaku already there. A third one, who I'll refer to as Heigar, joins up shortly after. While waiting around Heigar, Megane, and Headphones all have something to keep themselves busy. Keroro, only has one Gunpla that he brought with him in his jacket. While I shouldn't be surprised by that move, I did find it pretty amusing.

It's cold outside, and Keroro is freezing. However, Heigar pours some hot tea and hands some out to everyone. Aww~!

Keroro's still bored, so Megane gives him a magazine to look at. I admit it, Megane is adorable! Gah! I wish those guys actually had names!

Headphones ended up getting sick, and went home. However, Megane agreed to get a copy for him. In the end, the three remaining were rewarded for their patience.

However, there was a straggler. A boy got up early to get a copy for his younger sister, but it was too late. Keroro ends up giving the kid his copy, despite his promise to Fuyuki. But it was okay; Aki got the game for Fuyuki.

Next time Keroro decides to do that, it's going to be an eroge starring Nadleeh. (Better than the Noble Gundam, in my opinion.)

Time For Some Frog Fangirling!

Since I haven't been able to get a copy of today's G00 raw yet, I want to make a Keroro post.

The first part was about Kururu getting some special orders from Keron HQ. As usual, Kururu ends up screwing with everyone, which is always fun to watch. He even got Mutsumi in on the action. Keroro-tachi are naturally curious about the order, and want to know what Kururu is up to. The buff Kururu scene was hilarious. Keroro and Tamama corner Kururu, wearing street punk style Pekoponian suits, and try to pick a fight with him. Kururu goes into Bruce Lee mode, and kicks their asses, without a Pekoponian suit! And the gag glasses! XD

I will admit my mind was in the gutter during the first part. Besides the sauna fanservice, there was a scene of Kururu and Mutsumi working out, complete with vibrating walls and such. Before it showed what was really going on...yeah. Then, there was the special order itself. There's a Natsumi fanclub on Keron, and Kururu had to send an ero-ero disc to them. Instead, they got an ero-ero disc of Mutsumi...and there was much rejoicing. Kururu switched the discs, so Natsumi ended up watching fanservice of herself. I LOVE YOU, KURURU~!!!

The second part was so cute! Fuyuki wanted a new occult game that was coming out, and wanted to wait in line. Aki didn't want him to, so Keroro goes in his place. It was basically Keroro interacting with a couple of other otaku, while waiting for the store to open. Keroro bringing a spare Gunpla in his jacket cracked me up! But...it was so adorable with how he and the otaku interacted. A guy who looked like Stein Heigar from Ryvius gave them some hot tea. A cute glasses-wearing guy gave Keroro a magazine to read. And when the music-listening guy got sick, they agreed to get a copy in his stead. In the end, they got their copies, but a boy suddenly ran up to buy one for his sister. Keroro gave him his copy. (D'AWWWW!) Afterward, Keroro meets Fuyuki on the street, and it turns out that Aki got the game for him. Yah~! I love those heartwarming episodes!

I might have to do a picsummary post on this later. This one was too awesome not to do it.

A Slight Confession

I apologize for abandoning my G00 posts over the past few weeks. I've been doing them, but in my LJ, you see. I'd copy/past them here, but I've been too lazy to do so. ^_^' I'll get around to it, though. To be honest, 6 and 7 were kind of boring. 8, however, was epic. I'm really looking forward to tonight's episode, too.

Oh, someone's subbing the Musha Keroro mini-series! They even subbed the Putata and Mekeke episode, too! YAH~!!! I love those episodes so much! Putata was still as freaking hilarious as when I first saw that episode. Speaking of Keroro, I haven't seen today's episode, yet. I want to see buff Kururu!

Thanksgiving-Related Zetsubou

I know I should be all happy and energetic today, but I'm not. Day four, I'm nauseous, Dad's being obnoxious, and my hormones are being a bitch again. And is it so hard for people to not discuss gross stuff at the table?! I'm trying to eat, and my aunt is going on about my uncle's recent operation, among other things. I don't need to be hearing this while I'm trying to eat, dammit! Thus, I ended up losing my appetite. T_T

Well, for a more positive note, it has been confirmed that Dad's leaving for two weeks on Monday. Also, I'm glad that I got an update on my order from Right Stuf, yesterday. They're still working on it, but I like that they give out status reports on orders. Makes me feel good about the service.

I also went out for a while, yesterday, mainly to scope out a coat that Mom wants. I really should've taken a picture of it on my cell phone, but I did throw out that idea to everyone else today. I did end up walking out of the mall with CG:LOTR volume 2. I still need volume one, but I can wait on that. Can't wait for my copy of Suzaku of the Counterattack, though~! ^^

Oh, sadly, I didn't get a job at Saxby's. However, I'm glad that I had an interview. I'm not giving up, either. It might take a while, but I'll find something. Maybe, by chance, they'll call me later. -disappointed sigh- And I was looking forward to getting away from Dad in the evenings, too.

Getting further off course on this post, I watched the dub of Turn 4, yesterday. -sigh- It really makes me sad how R2 started and how it ended. I was almost to the point of crying near the end with Rolo's mindrape. Add in that this is the beginning of Guilford's run of bad luck. Poor Guilford! Plus, I miss the way the Black Knights used to be. Honestly, at that point, the only one who I hated was Chiba. Bitch needs to shut up, seriously. I still have a soft spot for Tamaki and Sugiyama, though. -groan- And next week is the dreaded Turn 5. Taku! I hate that episode so much! I'm quite looking forward to the next three or four episodes after that, however.

Mid-Week Update!

First off for tonight, I had a job interview with Saxby's Coffeehouse yesterday. I have a pretty good feeling about this one. I wasn't nervous, the job sounds fun, I think I impressed the store manager with some of my food service experiences; it was just a good interview. I should know by Tuesday if I got the job or not. I hope I do.

Next, I ordered volume one of Suzaku of the Counterattack and the Britannia military beret today. Yes, the beret is the same one worn by Suzaku and Cecile. I'm so glad they made that, because I always thought the beret was awesome. Now I just need to get an indigo wig and Cecile's uniform. XP

Continuing on with Code Geass, I saw some screenshots of the newest Picture Drama. I'll just say this, besides the return of Luluko, I am NOT impressed. Sunrise, why must you continue to break my fanservice rules? Enough with the C.C./Kallen fanservice already! I get that they're the heroines, but for God's sake, just give the other characters a chance! You still owe us fangirls for that second picture drama, last season. Why not do one with Suzaku, Gino, Schneizel, Kannon, and Lloyd showering together? (<---Is totally not desperate for Pudding Service.) I know a few of us would be more than pleased with that idea. Sadly, they're men, and the fanboys won't have that. But why should it matter? They've had more than their fair share, and I think we deserve a turn.

For that matter, is it really that hard to give us some actual plot material? Last season, we got some extra stuff in both the Picture Dramas and the Sound Episodes. Besides some in 1, 2, and allegedly 8, all we've had this season is pointless fanservice. And next month's Picture Drama doesn't look like it's gonna get better. Sorry, but I have no interest in the girls of the Black Knights having a pajama party. Though, that's mostly just because I really don't like any of those guys anymore. Oh well, at least I have Picture Drama 8 to look forward to. Onee-sama~! (/rant)

The Office 5-8

I was kinda so-so on this episode. It had its moments, but I mostly felt bad for Michael. The main plot was Micheal, Oscar, and Andy going on a business trip to Winnipeg. While they're there, Micheal "crushes" on the concierge girl from the hotel they're staying at. Sadly, she was nothing to him; just a rebound.

First of all, poor Micheal. David Wallace sent him on the trip to try and get his mind off of Holly, but it didn't really work. In fact, at the end of the episode, Micheal vented at David for sending Holly away. It seems that Holly ended up influencing Micheal in a rather positive way; much better than what Jan could've ever done for him. I can't help but wonder where this will take him.

Second, Pam failed her Flash class. Not that I can blame her, some of those graphic design programs (okay, all of them) are hard to learn. She told Jim that she'd have to stay for another three months, when she was just about to come back to Scranton. Jim, being the nice guy that he is, basically told her that he could wait for her if he needed to. Well, fortunately for us, she didn't want to stay! So, Jim got a little surprise after work. ^^ Pam being all "tsundere" with him was kinda cute. It probably would've worked better on me if I liked the tsundere type, though. But she was just faking it, so its cool.

I think the real highlight of the episode was Oscar and Andy. Andy was pretty much playing matchmaker with Michael and Oscar while they were in Canada. He ended up failing both times, it appears. The failed matchmaking for Oscar was hilarious, though. They end up getting drunk, and Andy calls Angela. (She was smexing with Dwight!) Even though I don't like drunkeness, Oscar was adorable! Andy's little quip the day after was great, too; calling Oscar "delightful". Hmm~! Somehow, I wouldn't mind seeing Andy go gay for Oscar. kukuku~!

Another little subplot involved Ryan getting Kelly back. Oh, joy. =_= When they texted Darryl a break-up message, he responded with "Its cool", and we see him happily walking to his truck. I don't blame you man, she's a little bitch. And how unfortunate for Ryan! All he wanted was to look good by getting her back from Darryl, try and reshape his broken image, but it backfired big time. So, now he's stuck with a girl he really doesn't want, and he's still a loser.

Rambling Again

Over the past two days, I've been shopping. Mom and I went out to Addison, yesterday. I even drove to the mall and to the anime store. ^^

While we were at the mall, I saw some anime wall scrolls inside an Asian-inspired store. (No kidding!) So, I checked the place out, and met a pretty cool guy who was working there. Apparently, it was his first day on the job. He seemed like someone I could get to like. He even told me that I could chat with him sometimes, if I wanted to. Its such a long drive out there, but I'd do that every now and then. I need more people I can talk about anime with.

After buying a Code Geass sweatband at that place, we walked around a little bit more. For lunch, we went to a new Italian place that was hidden away in one of the corners of the mall. That was some awesome Italian for a cheap price. I'd totally eat there again!

Sadly, I didn't find much at Anime Pop. I ended up with three Zodiac Chara-Fortune Geass clips, two ended up being duplicates of C.C. and Cecile. (Not that I'm complaining about Nee-san, of course!) The other one was of Euphie. I also got a pin of Hitomi from Escaflowne. I wish there were pins of some of the other characters for that series, though. I wouldn't mind pins of Allen, Folken, and Dilandau. (I feel so lonely in preferring Allen over Van!)

Since I didn't get much yesterday, we continued today. We went to Fry's to see if there were any dvds that I wanted. I was so close to getting the first two discs of Code Geass, but that whole flawed disc problem kept me from doing so. I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of sending my discs back to Bandai to get them replaced.

After a short time at Barnes and Noble, we hit up the mall. I finally got a new coat! Its a black trenchcoat, and I must say it is awesome! Its a bit snug in the chest and shoulder area, but it fits. I can't wait to wear it on Saturday night! Also, I got the first volume of the Geass novel series! I have yet to read it, but I'm looking forward to it. Despite knowing it isn't canon, and focuses on Lulu/Suza/Nunna's past, I think it should be interesting. -sigh- I so cannot wait for Suzaku of the Counterattack to come out, next month. I think I like that one the best, out of the different manga series. Lots of Lloyd! X3

Good news, my dad should be going on a two week trip after Thanksgiving! Sadly, I still have to deal with him for an entire week, before then; plus the two weeks around Christmas. So, I'm feverishly continuing my search for a job. I'd rather be out making money, than having to deal with him the entire time he's off. I'm not the only one who's frustrated with him at the moment, either. Everyone seems to be tired of him, right now. Also, apparently his precious Ohio State/Michigan game isn't this week, but next week. Not only did that foil my punishment for him, but it also will be a prelude for what's to come the week ahead. Someone...please...T_T

That Was So Worth It!

So, I ended up going to Fujiya for dinner. I'm glad I did, because I had a really nice time. Tae wasn't there (I wonder where she's been? I haven't seen her the past few times I've gone. Are she and Sam trading off shifts or something?), but Sam and the server girl, Mary, kept me company.

My main order was seafood udon, which was really good. I didn't get to finish it, but I got to take home the leftovers. Yeah, I got filled up on too much sushi. I originally ordered some nigiri tuna, octopus, and salmon roe, but Sam is such a sweetie and gave me some complimentary squid and a long-rolled yellow-tailed tuna roll. Also, Mary and I split an order of sea urchin roe! YES! I finally got to try uni! It was okay, but I think it's a tad over-hyped. I can see why they call it "the butter of the sea", though. It had an after taste that reminded me of oysters, but I liked it. Now all I have to do is find a place that serves ootoro. Maybe if business actually picks up, I could pass the suggestion to Sam. ^^

I had one too many "Not as planned" moments, this week, and it really got me depressed. But I'm in a really good mood, now.

So, it seems as though my plans aren't going to work out. I just found out that dad decided to have us go out next weekend instead. Money issues, so he says. -sigh- And I was so looking forward to tonight, too. Meh. If his beloved Ohio/Michigan game is next week, we're going on Saturday. That can be his punishment for slighting me. kukuku~

I'm also thinking that I'll have to switch my shopping day to Tuesday. Mom's off, but she has a staff inservice at 2:00. Yeah, she's off but she still has to show up for a meeting. I just don't think we'll have enough time to do everything, if she needs to be back by then. I suppose we could, but I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy myself.

On the anime front, I got a few more pieces of news about G00. In episode 8, the Meisters have to go undercover to a party. From what it sounds like, Tieria's going to crossdress! Hong Long's going to show up in formal wear, too. Mmm...Hong Long in formal wear. XD~ Sadly, I heard something else that really disturbs me. It was hinted that Katagiri was responsible for Sumeragi's boyfriend's death. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I don't want to believe that! I mean, sure it sounds really plausable, but...he always seemed like such a nice guy. T_T

Also, about that karaoke/group dating track on the upcoming Sound Episode; Rolo arranged the group date. So, it's more of a yaoi-fied group date. Mou~! And I was hoping to hear Lloyd serenade to Cecile. Oh, well! Maybe they'll split into pairs and do some duets. Let's see, I'm guessing: Lulu/Rolo, Suzaku/Gino or Suzaku/Lloyd, Gino/Xingke, not totally sure about Jeremiah, but I could see Lloyd pair up with either Suzaku or Schneizel. I would guess Schneizel, in that matter. It might cause a backlash against the Schneizel/Kannon fangirls, though. Hey, Lloyd came first! I specifically remember the Schneizel/Lloyd pairing being pretty popular before Kannon was introduced. Poor Lloyd-tan, getting shafted again.

Anyhow, I might consider going over to Fujiya to cheer myself up. Yay for date money that I never got to use! Plus, I have some birthday money that I need to deposit. ^^ I'm saving it for when I absolutely need it, though. I'll have to wait and see on the dinner thing, though.

The Office 5-7

I have major mixed emotions about this episode. First, I'm sad that Holly's no longer around. Then, the Dwight/Jim dynamic cracked me up so bad. I'm annoyed by the JAM problem, and I continue to hate the way Kelly chooses to be.

So, the main plot of the episode is that Jim and Dwight both end up with negative feedback on their sales reviews. This led to a whole bunch of crazy antics between the two. Micheal has them do a mock phone conversation at one point, and the whole thing goes out of control. As immature as it is, Jim's choice of naming himself Bill Buttlicker had me laughing the hardest.

Throughout the rest of the episode, Dwight's all paranoid that there's a conspiracy about the customer service reviews. Actually, he was right. Apparently, Kelly decided to get a little revenge on the guys for not coming to her party. Okay, you screw with their reviews that could make or break their bonuses just for your own petty vendetta. That's something that I'd expect those bimbos from my class to do. God, I hate her so much! I did love Dwight's "I want to be here when you fire her ass!" line.

On the Jim/Pam front, that guy from Pam's art classes shows up and wants Pam to stay in New York. I'm not going to panic over this, because if Pam's as strong as she can be, she can turn Alex down. Then again, she seemed to have lost some of that spunk during that conversation last night. I don't think anything too devastating will occur between Jim and Pam, though. I'm not worried about them at all. There might be a few arguments here and there, but I think it'll all work out.

When Angela was really specific about where she wanted the wedding to take place, I knew right away it would be at the Schrute Beet Farm. XD Yeah, I wonder how much longer she can keep leading Andy on like this. He's going to find out eventually, and it won't be pretty.

Michael was really subdued, last night. The cold opening concerned him saying that he and Holly were engaged, but they really weren't. T_T Poor guy's suffering from a broken heart. I hope that they cross paths again, later on. Still, he was way too easy on Kelly. I know he considers the employees as his family, but come on! That little bitch was sabotaging Jim and Dwight over something totally trivial!

Sunrise Mecha-Related Spazzings

I just got some information about the final R2 drama cd! First of all, I like references to different anime, but why do they have to have a character duet sung by Xingke and Gino?! Xingke and Gino never interacted with each other, except once in battle. >_> The song is called "Reason", and the music should be composed by Mikio Sakai. Which reminds me, why the hell did we not get a few insert songs by him?! I liked his songs in the first season and Scryed! (I should really consider making Drastic My Soul my ringtone!) Still, I'm under the impression the duet is Scryed-related joke.

But, considering the events in the first drama track, I might forgive them for it. From the looks of it, one of my dreams for Code Geass is about to come true. KARAOKE PARTY!!!! Oh God, I hope that we'll actually get some singing out of this track, because the prospects could be epic. From what I got out of it, it sounded like there's group dating involved, too. But I do know that most of the guys are involved; Lulu, Rolo, Suzaku, Gino, Jeremiah, LLOYD, Xingke, and Schneizel. Oh-ho~! Karaoke and group dating...naruhodo ne~! X3

And I totally adore the cover for the cd. All the guys are decked out in fabulous white formal wear! Now, I haven't read much of Tsubasa Resevoir Chronical, but Lloyd's posture and his outfit distinctly remind me of Fye. -sigh- Lloyd Asplund: The product of a strange love affair between Yukito Tsukishiro and Fye D. Flourite. Plus, Rolo's got one of his hands very close to Lulu's crotch; and Lulu doesn't even seem to notice or care. XD

In a scan I saw this morning, it looks like the picture drama for dvd 8 will include something on Cecile. Her past, maybe? Oooh~! This could be interesting! Maybe we can find out the source of Lloyd and Rakshata's rivalry while we're at it.

On the G00 front, I heard a rather lovely piece of news yesterday concerning Hong Long. I had heard before that he is actually Chinese royalty, but he's also Wang's older brother! I have to be totally honest, I really don't like that idea. Why is he allowing his younger sister to use him as her personal man-slave, when they're blood related? Does she even know that they're blood related? Taku! The whole thing just annoys the hell out of me! Now I'm fearing that he's going to lose his life while protecting the little bitch.

Continuing with G00, there's some more merchandise coming out in the future. There's a new set of Petit Prop Plus figurines that includes the Meisters, Regene, Mr. Bushido and two of Katagiri! Must have Hamu and Kata-yan! There's also a new set of i-dolls that include: Setsuna, Tieria, Regene, Ribbons, and Patrick. So, I guess we could be seeing Patrick again soon.

Starting To Flip Out!

So, Erick ended up messaging me early this morning, and he's in the area. Right now, he's near Mesquite, and is resting in a hotel. I'm assuming he'll probably spend his day around there, but I also wouldn't be too surprised if he dropped by later. For now, I'm just waiting around for him to contact me so we can plan things out.

Of course, I'm really nervous about meeting him soon. And the fact that my parents are already starting to interfere is driving me up the wall. Look, just wait and see what happens, alright?! He isn't exactly the best at planning things, or so I've noticed. -sigh- And just earlier Mom said that we need to play it by ear. If that's so, then don't start making decisions for me!

I have to say, I was impressed by McCain's concede of defeat speech. I can't really recall the McCain of the past, but the speech seemed like it came from that former version of himself. It moved me, I admit it.

I have so much I wish to say, but I just can't find the correct words to express my happiness. This...is just awesome!

Obligatory Election Day Post

There really isn't much that I haven't said already about today's election. I'm very certain that Obama will be victorious, and if he isn't, it should be very close. (Heaven forbid that woman comes into power!) Since I'm pretty much an insomniac at the moment, I shall watch for the outcome for as long as I can.

What is my family going to do? Well, Dad ended up buying a lot of snack food, and it appears we'll be having a little election party...and I use the term loosely. I wonder though; will they drink the wine of triumph, or the bitter coffee of defeat? (Thanks for that one, Tytania!)

Time for a moment of dorkery! Now, we all know how much I dislike the Republican candidates in this election. I find them unfit to run the country, especially Palin. So, the question is, who would I automatically vote for, if they were a candidate for the Republican party?

This past weekend, I tried out a new series called Tytania. I had heard things previously about how its like Code Geass in space. Naturally, I had to try it out. I'm liking it, so far. Its kinda cheesy, and there are some parts that are unintentionally funny. It has my attention, nonetheless.

Character-wise, I like Fan and Miranda. Fan comes into the conflict by humiliating Ariabart Tytania in a fight...which he wasn't supposed to win. So, he's pretty much a wandering bum, and has just gotten picked up by Princess Miranda. Miranda is a butch princess, and I like that. What makes it even better is that she's voiced by Junko Minagawa, AKA Cornelia Li Britannia! Unlike Cornelia-sama, Miranda's more laid-back and is working on a rebellion. So, of course I'd like her!

I'm not quite sure who I like in the Tytania empire, yet. I think, for now, I like Ariabart. Going by Geass comparisons, he would probably be the Jeremiah of the family. He let his arrogance get the best of him, and he's getting flack from his family for it. At least Jouslain, his cousin, is nice to him. He still repremands him, but he's a lot nicer than the rest of the Dukes. (When this scene occurs, my mind immediately went into the gutter. Yaoi incest, ne?) Still, Ariabart has my sympathy, for now.

A really funny scene that occured was Salisch and his gay brother Alses (Who appears to be the product of a genetic experiment using C.C. and Mao.) having a little sibling feud, and their mother comes in. Salisch, who is the manliest of the Four Dukes, ends up becoming the biggest wuss when his mother shows up. I guess she's the only opponent that he hasn't been able to defeat. ^^ Speaking of Alses, that guy is creepy! He's highly androgynous, and he likes shota. Still, that creepiness factor makes him kinda cool.

I'm not sure where they plan to go with Lydia, yet. It appears as though she would be the Nunnally of the series; which is quite ironic because Kaoi Nazuka does her voice. (Speaking of Nunnally, I hear her new character song sucks. But what do you expect?)

Keroro Dub Test

So, I just finished watching a test episode for the Keroro dub. (Its on YouTube!) Mmm...Giroro's perfect, and I can probably handle Tamama and Natsumi. Keroro and Kururu, however, I am not too big on. Keroro needs to sound a little more higher and cuter. And Kururu needs to sound more dark and menacing. And for God's sake, do not change the epic Kururu laugh! The "Kukuku~!" laugh is a big part of his character! Also, I don't like how they changed their names. I can handle the Pekoponians getting name changes, but the show is called Keroro Gunsou; not Kero Gunsou. Sure, it'll be called Sgt. Frog here, but at least let the Keronians keep their proper names. T_T Don't care about the Pekoponians much, outside of Aki and Mutsumi.

So, in short, it can work, but they may want to change some of the voices. Plus, keep the names as they were. Other than that, it seems fine.

There isn't really that much that I can say about this episode. Only a few things really stood out at me, some more than others.

First of all, Saji screwed up big time. Kataron and Celestial Being were having negotiations, and he runs off. He ends up getting picked up by a Federation ship, which Sergei is on. He ends up getting interrogated and spills about the CB/Kataron thing. A random soldier overhears this and reports it to A-Laws. (Yes, I know its supposed to be in all caps, but I'm lazy.) In the end, they annihilate the place. While its not entirely his fault, I place a lot of the blame on Saji and his ideals. This should open his eyes to the world around him.

On the subject of A-Laws, not all of them are that bad. Look at Kati and Soma; they're pretty decent people. Soma, while she annoys me with her belittling of Allelujah, has become more human lately. She was clearly disturbed by the massacre of the defenseless Kataron members, and ended up hesitating in the battle. Also, she agrees to allow Sergei to adopt her. (Cute!) Andrei, on the other hand, reveals why he's so cold to his father. Apparently, Sergei is responsible for his wife's death, and Andrei can't forgive him for it. Gah! I so wanted to give him a hug during that scene!

If Marina is good at anything, its being good with children. I remember reading something about her reminding Setsuna of his mother, and it came up again in the episode. She would make for a wonderful mother herself, one day. If she had a supportive husband, anyhow; as she really can't take care of herself.

Tieria and Alle continue to be their cute selves. Tieria actually made a joke. It wasn't funny, but he made a joke nonetheless. Lyle seems to have a big issue with A-Laws; probably because he's affiliated with Kataron and didn't like seeing his allies get killed like that. I actually liked seeing him loose his cool in the battle. Also, I like that they're keeping Louise out of the episodes for the most part. Sure, we have to deal with Saji's bitching instead of her's, but I can live with it...for now.

Oh yeah, Ali's back. I can never decide whether I like or hate the guy. I should hate him, because he killed Lockon and Kinue. However, he's so charismatic that I can't totally hate him. Still, holy crap! He totally burned Azadistan to the ground! When he engages the Meisters in a fight, I would like to see Lyle take a shot at him. Setsuna is obviously his target, but Lyle deserves a chance. Same goes for Tieria, as Lockon was his first important person.

I think, if I have any minor gripes with the episode, its that Graham didn't get much screentime. Aa-ah! I hope he goes back to headquarters and reunite with Katagiri, soon.

A Few Moments of Amusement

A little while ago, Mom and I were chatting and eating some leftover candy. I noticed that we seemed to have more than we started out with, so I asked her if someone got more. She said that Dad thought that "Someone had raped the candy!", so he sent out my brother to get more. She went on to say that we would've had plenty leftover anyhow, and didn't think he needed to make such a big deal about it.

Now, the "punchline" to this is...I guess that makes me a candy rapist. XD I admit it, I hoarded some chocolate away. kukuku~! Still, its kind of funny to hear my dad go on one of his drunken rants and no one care about it. Not to mention that I am guilty of being a candy rapist. Still..."candy rapist"? I know I tend to use the term "rape" in rather loose ways sometimes (Take hack-job dubbing, for instance.), but I think that wins for being the loosest. (No pun intended.)

On a different note, today's Keroro episode was hilarious. The first part was about Kururu making gum with some strange side-effects. Take Giroro for example...

His facial expression reminds me of a Grimer or a Muk! XD

Moa ended up with a Kururu-ish personality during the entire episode. In the second part, Tamama found some really yummy mushrooms, and ate them. Upon further inspection, if ingested, the mushrooms could turn one into a mushroom man! So, in order to find out who ate the mushrooms, she conducted a series of tortures on the frogs. It hurt my eyes just to watch the first one. She squirted orange juice into their eyes; even Kururu couldn't stand it.

Near the end, she put on the Kero Neko no Tango and the frogs started dancing. And then...they became 'shroom heads. Seriously, mushrooms grew out of their heads. So, Moa prepares a grill and ties up the frogs. But she only wanted the mushrooms. Apparently, she mistook the ones Tamama ate for a different kind.

Okay, so my cast predictions were way off for Gino and Anya. Bandai just put up a website for R2, and I saw who their VAs are. Dave Wittenberg...Gino...I think I'm gonna go cry now. I would've rather have him as Kannon than that idiot. I actually think this is going to be the first character that he's voiced that I can't stand. Anya's going to be voiced by Stephanie Sheh. I guess I should've anticipated this, but now she's playing two lolis; Kaguya and Anya.

A Few Rants/Raves

Okay, I'm feeling a little better than I was earlier. I sent in my resume for two different office jobs, this evening. One of them is a temporary position in Plano, the other is full time in Addison. I'm hoping I'll get either of them, though I'm more hoping for the latter. Yes, Addison is a long drive, but I know I can do it! Plus, there's the added bonus of Anime Pop being in Addison, too. I can't get too excited yet, though. I've only applied. It doesn't mean that I'll get called for an interview. But I can't give up, either!

Next, Turn 1 aired on The Fix today. Dave Wittenberg is Gao Hai! Aa~ah! That just makes me even more depressed that Gao Hai didn't last long. (Yeah, I liked Gao Hai, so sue me!) I'm liking how Rolo is sounding, so far. I haven't heard much of Spike Spencer, so he's fairly new to me. Xingke's VA also did Nagata from Stage 1, but he's also new to me.

After rewatching the episode in English, I'm reminded of the earlier time of R2. I was annoyed and a little disappointed by the Turn 1 on the first viewing, but now I think it was actually pretty cool. After seeing where the series ended up going...well...yeah. For that matter, I never really got why Villetta and her group were so stuck on C.C. anyway. Did they know that she was Lelouch's accomplice? Was it because Koutei-chan wanted her? Did we even get an explanation on it? And how the hell did she become a Baroness anyway? Because she betrayed Ohgi? I just didn't get it.

I've thought about a few different picks for the newbies' voices. I think Quinton Flynn would be pretty good for Gino. I've heard that Kari Wahlgren's going to be in here somewhere, so I'm assuming she's going to be Anya. Jennifer Sekiguchi could be a pretty good pick for Anya, too. (Guu, anyone?) I still haven't decided on the rest of the Knights and Kannon, but I think Melora Harte or Barbara Goodson would be a good choice for Marianne. Personally, I could easily hear her sounding like Teela, so I'd go with the former. Quite ironic, since Micheal McConnohie was Crow.

-sigh- I wonder what Erick will think about all of the new characters. I'm sure he'll end up teasing me about Kannon, at some point. If only Kannon didn't have to be such a jerk later on! T_T I've already made little hints on Rolo, and gave him a little rant on Anya's jailbait-ness. He doesn't know about anyone else, though.

I guess he and I will be doing a little episode review in person, next week; as he's on the road, right now.

It Just Keeps Getting Better

That title is dripping with sarcasm, by the way. -irritated sigh- I just found out that my dad is going to be taking some extended vacation time, soon. First his North Carolina trip gets postponed again, now I have to deal with him for a week during Thanksgiving, and two weeks around Christmas. Didn't the same thing happen last year? Good Lord! -headdesk- I just need a break from him for a while. Its not just me, either. When everyone else heard, they had the same reaction. It was like a collective facepalm amongst my siblings and myself.

Speaking of which, we're supposed to be having our big fall cleaning weekend, starting tomorrow. Save me, now! I just know he's going to turn his music on full-blast and we'll never be able to escape it. Maybe I should consider hijacking his cd player downstairs and turn my Keroro music on full-blast to counter it. Heck, anything I have would be good to use against him. So, I guess I'll get my ammo out of the car, tonight.

I just hope that his next trip is going to be a long one, like his Australia trip in January. After the holidays are over, I am so going to need it.

The Office 5-6

If I didn't have my mother and both of my siblings around, I probably would've cried. I knew it was coming, but like with other goodbyes, it still made me sad. I was really attached to Holly since last season's finale. When she and Micheal started crying, I was so close.

It just isn't fair! He finally gets a girl that's perfect for him, and she's taken away from him! I found their relationship fun, cute, and they were both really in synch with each other. "And then...she ain't yo ho no mo!" Stupid Jan, having to cause such problems for Dunder-Mifflin! Yes, Micheal is partially at fault, but Jan's a big part of this as well. And I'm so sure that this is the way that Toby ends up coming back. For now, I'll knight them my favorite pairing of The Office.

The subplot involving the battle of the dorks was hilarious. I think Dwight and Andy's Cornell fight helped me from wanting to cry. Everything that went down between those two was priceless. Dwight, the sweatshirt, the bobble-head, the interview confrontation, and the ending were just great. When beet farmer Andy failed at eating a raw beet, Dwight's comeback biting into the raw vegetable was perfect. XD

I didn't really care for the JAM plotline again. I still support their relationship, but its become rather boring for the moment. In this case, I would've preferred they not have a plotline involving them and focus more on Micheal and Holly. I just felt like it cut into more time with Micheal and Holly. I could say the same about Dwight and Andy, but the comedy was needed.

Also, I wish the costume thing went on longer. Now, I haven't seen The Dark Knight yet, but damn, Creed makes for one heck of a Joker. Poor Kevin, Joker #2. But I cracked up at seeing Dwight dress up as The Joker, as well. Besides just seeing Dwight dress up like that, it was a good way of making fun of the real world. I would honestly not be surprised if that's one of the most popular costume choices of this year.

So, my dad was supposed to go out of town for two weeks, starting Sunday. Well, that isn't happening anymore. So now I have to wait another month just to get a break from him. >.<

-sigh- Well, I guess he can meet my dear Addy then. I'm just afraid that he or my mom will get in the way, somehow. Erick's only staying for two or three days, and I want to have enough time to really get to know him. Though, I will either need Mom around one of the days or someone to direct me to Addison. I know I can do it, its just a matter of finding my way there. (Mini rant: why do they think I can't handle the bigger roads? Just because Dad traumatized me by taking me out onto a frontage road, in the middle of an unfamiliar place, when I wasn't ready? /rant)

In other news, I've been listening to the ED to Kurogane no Linebarrel almost non-stop over the past two days. Its just so good...the song anyway. I've been slowly warming up to the series, but I think its going to end up being this year's Dragonaut. Fortunately, the breasts aren't as huge as the ones in Dragonaut. Now, Kouichi annoys me, but I think Risako annoys me more. She reminds me of Shirley, and that's never good. Reiji, Satoru, and Yajima, however, are/were awesome so far. I was so close to crying over Yajima, last episode. But I'm really amused with Jun Fukuyama's character. He somehow reminds me of Mujo, but he sounds like Lelouch instead of Lloyd. XD

-checks IM- I guess either Erick decided to sleep tonight, or his computer is already packed up. If I don't hear from him tomorrow, I'll have my answer. Yah~! Next week is going to be interesting, to say the least.

Gundam 00 2-4

Damn, this series just keeps getting better and better! There was a lot that I loved about this episode, needless to say. It was mostly a character development episode, which scores big points with me. Though, it did have a little bit of action in it, too. As little action as it was, it was awesome. I like to thank Mr. Bushido for that. XD

A big part of the episode focused on Alle. We get a glimpse into his past and about how he met Marie. This scene was creepy. Soma's lying like a doll in a glass case, her eyes are blank, and she's telepathically communicating with Alle. She's happy to have someone talk to her, and she's also the one who gave him the name Allelujah.

Sumeragi still hasn't snapped out of her funk, yet. However, Allelujah shows up with a bottle of wine and two glasses and they have a little talk. I loved this scene so much! Seeing the two of them talk and drink together was so cute. Even if Allelujah ends up with Soma, I actually prefer to ship him with Sumeragi. In the end, he's the one who helps Sumeragi get back on her feet. Yay for our revived Sumeragi-san!

Lyle seems to have an inferiority complex and hates being compared to Neil. Haro had to shoot his mouth off about Feldt's crush on Lockon, causing Lyle to kiss her. Apparently, he did it so she could open her eyes and see him as a different person. Then, she slaps him. I think it was a mix between the two that caused her to slap him, rather than just the kiss. If it were me, there would've been more than just a slap in that situation. I think, at this point, I just don't want to like him. Yeah, I said the same thing about Rolo and look what happened. T_T I think, one of these days, I'll need to expand upon this; actually give another example of Lyle's situation.

Now for our two strays on the Ptolemy 2. Marina's just the same as ever, trying to persuade Setsuna not to fight. -sigh- I want to like her, but she makes it hard for me to sometimes. Saji, on the other hand, helps Ian with some maintenance. Ian gives him a little talk about why everyone's fighting, and I hope it gets through to him. Also, I just have to say that I love Ian! He's a great guy, even if he's a bit of a perv. I even like his daughter, so far. Mileina's a huge step up from the lolis of R2, in my opinion.

Okay, now for the moment that totally made me fangirl like an idiot. Graham "Mr. Bushido" Aker is back in business! I really wish that the fight could've lasted longer, because I've really missed his hot-blooded and insane rantings. Also, it looks like he did get scarred in that last fight with Setsuna, last season. If he insists on wearing the stupid mask, it must be pretty grotesque...or he's just being over-dramatic about it. All I know is, I can't wait to see more of Hamu-sama in action!

Continuing on with Graham, I'm surprised to see people bashing Mr. Bushido. Hasn't Graham shown that, besides being an awesome pilot, he's also a bit of an otaku? I guess his otakuism just took over, and he became Mr. Bushido. ^^' See kids, this is what happens when you can't satisfy your mechaphilia.

Continuing with the A-Laws, guess who just joined up! I was so happy to see Katagiri join up, but man he is pissed! I'm a little sad to see him in such a state, because he always seemed like such a nice guy. He's heartbroken and bitter, and he wants revenge. Still, I'm waiting in anticipation to see him and Graham reunite. That is one of those scenes that I demand to see. And yay for the return of his high ponytail!

I am so late with this. I'm so sorry, and I know I'm a horrible fangirl for it. Meh.

-Alle, it is so good to see you back! Even though he looks a little worse-for-wear right now, he's still as cute as ever. That shy blush is so adorable! X3 Its one of those scenarios where, if I had a plushie of him, I'd hug him so hard. (Why don't they make plushies for these series?! I want G00 and CG plushies!!!)

-Another Meister that I want to hug right now is Tieria. He was notified by Feldt that Marina was being held prisoner in the same place as Alle, and he told Setsuna about. He even urged him to save her. And I love seeing him all tsun-tsun with Lyle. Lyle will never replace Neil, in his heart! (That kinda goes for me, too.) And that scene at the end with him welcoming Alle back was just so cute!

-I'm glad that Sumeragi's starting to get it back together. Seeing her act like such a defeatist was really getting on my nerves.

-So, it's possible that Soma may be a different personality, like Halle is to Alle. In fact, I think it's very possible, considering the color of her eyes. Halle's eye is gold, and Soma's eyes are gold. I'm still trying to think about how it happened, but somehow the Soma personality completely took her over.

-It was good to see Kati get so much screentime. I love her; I really do. I have to wonder where Patrick is, though. I think we could use some of his dorkery and epic fail, soon.

-Andrei...I want him to actually do something. He has the potential to be really interesting, but we've only seen him act like Tres Iques, so far. Except that Gunslinger is a far better shot than Andrei is. I just hope that they won't drop that potential, like they did in R2.

-I'm still not totally sold on Lyle. Haro seems to be getting along with him fine, but I just can't bring myself to like him yet. He even asked Haro if Neil had a catchphrase that he said before he took a shot. Personally, I thought the way he said the line sucked. Neil always sounded so hot-blooded when he said it; Lyle, not so much. And I really hope that Feldt smacks him, next episode. Never mess with a girl's feelings. Ever.

The Office: 5-4

First of all, I'm sorry that I didn't do a review of last week's episode. I was going to, but got side-tracked. It got too late, and I decided not to do it. It wasn't all that great, anyway. I totally thought that Michael was gonna blow it with Holly. Thank God that didn't happen, though. Formalities aside, let's focus on this week!

I'll go ahead and get Jan out of the way. Jan...-sigh- She further and further proves that she's a bitch. So, she was pregnant with some random guy's baby, and suckered Michael into becoming her man-slave. Now, she's had the baby...without telling Michael. I was thinking, "Damn, Jan. That was cold!". But the thing that really pissed me off was when she told Micheal not to date Holly. Okay, who the hell are you to tell people who they should and shouldn't go out with? I had to force myself not to yell, "That bitch!", with my mom around. Also, I feel sorry for Astrid; as she's going to have one messed up childhood.

Next, I'll talk about Michael. He may be a jerk, but I love him. This is one of those episodes where you just feel so bad for him. Jan's been an absolute bitch to him, and he still goes the extra mile for her. He wants to be a father to Astrid, but he's been deluding himself about the idea. After holding her, he realized that it wasn't right. I was so ready for him to chew out Jan about being forbidden to date Holly, but his answer was good enough. I'll be looking forward to something like that in a future episode, though. Also, I loved the little montage of Micheal holding the kids. He would make such a great dad. ^^

Holly, I love you! And I was totally overjoyed when Micheal hugged her and asked her to go out with him. This is my new Office pairing, people!

I have to be honest, I wasn't a fan of today's JAM subplot. I know that it's supposed to show the distance between Jim and Pam, but I got a little annoyed with it. I felt bad for them, but something just didn't agree with me. I almost feel like Pam's moving ahead and leaving Jim behind, in a way. I'm probably just being paranoid, though.

As for the rest of the employees, I feel their pain. If a crazy woman started going into all the gory details of such things, I'd get up and leave, too. I'd do that for just about any uncomfortable discussion, though. I was amused by Angela trying to be like Anne Gaddes, and take disturbing baby pictures. It was so Angela to do that. And Dwight...oh jeez! First he gives birth to a watermelon, and then he takes Jan's expensive stroller out for a couple of tests. Oh yeah...Astird...ass turd. XD

This was interesting. We get some character development, a new Haro for Saji, and an awesome new Gundam. I'm also really liking the new ED, too. It's depressing, but really pretty.

Alright, so we left off with Setsuna approaching Lyle. Apparently, Lyle had no idea that Neil was dead, and a Gundam Meister either. From the looks of it, Lyle decides to take up his brother's position pretty quickly. However, it looks like he's playing "double agent", as he's still got his ties to Kataron. I have to admit, I don't mind him right now. He's got an edge to him, but he's still not Neil. Tieria notes this, and I totally agree with him. And seeing our beloved orange Haro mistake him for Neil made me sad. It was nice to see him again, though. (I like the orange Haro, okay?!)

Next up is Sumeragi. Dang! She really let herself go, over the past few years. She's even worse off than she was before. She could barely even walk properly. Seeing her in that much despair really saddens me, but I get the reason why. I hope that she manages to pick herself up again, when she starts commanding again.

Then, there's Katagiri. I love the guy, but I do think that Sumeragi was just wrong for him. (And no, I'm not just saying that because I ship him with Graham!) Man, Setsuna...did you really have to identify Sumeragi right in front of him? -facepalm- So, now Kata-yan's mad that his girl is gone. I'm pretty sure there's some guilt that he unwittingly helped his enemy, and that he could've potentially killed his mentor as well. Not that he actually killed Eifman, but he doesn't know that. He has two choices, either sit around and not do anything, or he could join the A-Laws. I'm leaning for the latter, personally. Also, this is just my personal preference, but he should consider putting his hair back in it's high ponytail. The low ponytail isn't really doing much for him.

I think I really like the 00 Gundam. The whole sequence involving Setsuna synching up and fighting in it was awesome...and sparkly! It's a pretty nifty Gundam, if you ask me. I got really excited when Setsuna said, "Ore-tachi no Gundam da!" He may look more mature, but he's still a Gundam dork. XD It was a nice touch, though.

As for the A-Laws themselves, I liked the scene in the cafeteria with Kati, Soma, Andrei, and Hamu. I could probably cosplay Kati easily, and I do like the uniform. She's awesome anyhow. And I still cannot take Andrei seriously; he may have a large stick up his ass, but I just can't help but laugh at hearing Lloyd's voice coming from his mouth. Shiratori really should've used his Yuu Isami tone for him, it would've worked so much better. And I liked seeing Hamu hiding by the vending machine, drinking coffee, and eavesdropping on their conversation. It struck me funny, in a way.

Saji is still in confinement, and gets a reality check by Lasse. (GO LASSE!!!) Ian's daughter even gives him a red (magenta!) Haro, whose voice is so adorable! He does some research with his new Haro, and learns the truth behind the attack on Louise's family. This is good because I really didn't want him having to go half a season just to learn about it.

Speaking of the Throne bitch, she's Wang's new bitch. I...really don't like Wang. I even wonder how Hong Long is able to put up with her, sometimes. Also, Hong Long doesn't look like he aged much, if at all. I'm super glad to see him, though. Still, the combination of Wang and Nena is hazardous.

Next week, we finally rescue Allelujah! Poor Alle, he needs more than just a hug after all of this.

Yay For New Clothes!

So, I got a coupon in the mail for Lane Bryant, and we ended up using it today. I got some new black pants, a nice red tank top, and that sweater that I mentioned last week. I'm surprised Mom didn't ask if I was trying to "cosplay" someone, because she always does that when I try on something in a different color. Yeah, this time, I kinda am, I guess. -smirk-

But yeah, everyone gave me good comments on my selection. I should give kudos to "that guy" for inspiration on the sweater and pants. It still gets to me that he never took off the lab coat to expose the sweater more. Probably too sensitive about his collar bones, from that one pic. :P

Also, I have come to the conclusion that I should only get my sushi from Fujiya. The last few times I've had it at the mall, it's been below sub-par. Today, for example, the fish tasted frozen. -sigh- It was a little hard to enjoy it, when I kept getting that frozen taste in my mouth. I like my sushi to taste fresh, so sue me.

Oh yeah, Dad and I talked and he thinks I should go ahead and look into getting some new glasses. I've had these ones since before I was a freshman in high school. Plus, I've got a couple of cracks in one of my lenses that are growing. Yep. I hate to cause a lot of money to be spent on it, but I need to get it done. So, I guess I should start looking into new frames.

With the formalities out of the way, let's get started! Now this was a way to start a second season! It totally destroyed R2's first episode, even if it wasn't that hard to do. The only thing I really had to complain about was the focus on Saji and Louise, I think. So, I'll start with them.

Saji really hasn't changed much, over the past few years. He's still a spineless wimp, but I think that will change soon. I totally understand his hatred over the Gundams, due to what happened to Kinue and Louise. Scars like that take a long time to heal, if they ever do. Still, seeing him break down in front of Setsuna and Tieria like that made me cringe a little.

Louise, on the other hand, has joined the A-Laws and has some connection to Ribbons. It seems as though he enhanced her somehow. She has a new hand, but she's also become his puppet. He can see what she sees. Now, she's freaking out and taking pills. -sigh- I really don't see her coming out of this alive. As long as she takes Nena out with her, I'll be more than pleased.

I have to say that I like the older Setsuna. He's become more mature, and he is certainly not the stupid kid he once was. His fight with the Ahead was awesome, too. Sadly, Exia has become obsolete and couldn't win against the Ahead. Thank goodness for Tieria Erde and Seravee!

I think I've officially become a Tieria fangirl. He won my respect in the second half of season one, but he really impressed me with how he handled everything. I have to give him major kudos with how he handled Saji, in particular. I think what he said to him will be the beginning of Saji becoming more of a man.

I'm sad about Alle. He's locked up in a Federation prison, and he won't be broken out until episode 3. And in the OP, he looked so uke and sad, that it made me want to hug him so badly! Poor Alle! Then, there's Lyle. It looks like he's going to comply with Setsuna, but I'm still not liking the situation. I'm already preparing myself for Tieria and Feldt's reactions, and I'm not even sure about Haro. Will he recognize him as Lockon, or will he and Lyle have problems getting along? Sumeragi has been crashing with Katagiri. (No surprise there.) Next week, Setsuna tries to recruit her back to CB, but I'm totally freaking out about Katagiri. I didn't see him in the OP, and I know how he is about Sumeragi. I just hope that neither one of them kills him. T_T

Then, we have the other characters. It seems as though Sergei wants to officially adopt Soma, which is cool. However, he has an estranged son named Andrei, who I'm already liking a lot. It's not just because he sounds like Lloyd, but also because it seems he has father issues. We only got a few lines from Hamu, but he is definitely the Masked Man. Not that I ever doubted that he was, of course. (Blonde hair, Yuuichi Nakamura, Virgo, slightly otaku-ish...yep, that's our Hamu-sama!) And hell yeah for Shirin and Klaus! Shirin's always been awesome, but I also already like Klaus. We got to hear Katy on the phone with Sergei, but there's no sign of Patrick yet. I guess we'll just have to wait for a random moment for him to stumble in going, "TAISAAAA!!!!".

For the weekly Checkpoint section, I'll fangirl over the scene between Tieria and Saji. Saji ended up in Ptolemy 2's brig, after trying to shoot Setsuna. He couldn't do it because he didn't want to stoop to CB's level. Tieria tells Saji that he should be grateful to Setsuna for saving him, but Saji could never thank a murderer. To this, Tieria responds...

Oh yeah! It felt good to hear Tieria set Saji straight! Maybe it's just because I've come to like his bitchiness, but he does have a point. Saji needs to understand the situation around him better, and grow a spine as well.

In all, I'm liking how the series is starting out. I'm still a little afraid for the potential executive meddling that killed R2, but I think that's going away for now.

G00 Chara-Meme Fun

Okay, so I decided to use that character meme for G00. I'm going to use it now, and again after season two ends. I want to see if my opinions change on the characters and such.

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Toss-up between Lockon, Graham and Katagiri. I saw Katagiri first, and knew I’d like him a lot; which I do. He's my other favorite Sunrise scientist. Graham came in second, and he’s become my favorite, tied with Lockon. Lockon is Stupid Sexy Lockon. What else could be said?

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sumeragi, Alle, and Hong Long. I wasn’t too sure about Sumeragi for a long time. However, I saw something in her that reminded me of myself, and now I totally love her. I found Alle boring for the first few episodes, but when he started showing more emotion, I adored him. He’s so cute! Hong Long needs more praise. He’s a kick-ass bodyguard with an awesome outfit. And yes, I still have an obsession of wanting to wear his outfit.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Louise? Nena? Wang. I never liked Louise, even after she lost her family. Her spoiled, self-centered attitude pisses me off. Nena’s a psycho-bitch. Enough said. And Wang needs to get off her high horse. Humans are imperfect. You’re human. What makes you feel so special?

4. The character I love that everyone else hates: The Crossroad siblings. I won’t deny that Saji’s a wimp, but he has the potential to grow. While Kinue did stick her nose where it didn’t belong, I liked her. She shares my opinion on Louise, that automatically gave her my respect.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: N/A

6. The character I used to dislike but don't any longer: Tieria. I started out hating Tieria, for being a bitch to everyone. After the Trinity siblings came in, however, he started growing on me. Now, he’s one of my favorites. And after going back and rewatching some of the earlier episodes, I find his bitchiness rather amusing. I’ll even admit that I can be like him on a bad day. ^_^’

7. The character I would shag anytime: Lockon, Graham, Katagiri, Alle, or Hong Long. Ah, screw it. Let's make it an orgy!

8. The character I'd want to be like: Graham. He may be an egotist, but he also has a sense of honor. Plus, he's living the otaku dream of piloting a mech. Lockon's another one. He's probably the character I looked up to the most in this series. He may have been a hypocrite, but I still respect him.

9. The character I'd slap: Louise, Nena, and Christina, though it would probably end with me killing Louise and Nena. Christina just needs to get some sense slapped into her. I partially blame her for the mess that happened in episodes 9 and 10, and she was a bitch to Lichty as well.

10. A pairing that I love: Graham/Katagiri, just the fact that you have two guys who’s names make up Billy Graham makes the pairing write itself. Katagiri just needs to get over Sumeragi and stick with Graham.

11. A pairing that I despise: Saji/Louise, just because Louise is a bitch. I was also under the impression that Saji was more like Louise’s man-bitch for a while, and only she thought they were going out. Setsuna/Nena because Nena disgusts me. I totally praised Setsuna when he pushed her away after she forced that kiss on him.

12. The character must and musn't die: Must-Nena, Louise, Ali, and Wang. Mustn’t-everyone else

13. The character musn't have died: LOCKON!!!

The Obligatory Pre-Gundam 00: Season Two Post

Alright, so my preparation week for Gundam 00 didn't go as planned. I was way too depressed after the end of Code Geass to do it. So, I'll be putting my thoughts and stuff in this one post.

First of all, what I am looking forward to~! I'm really anxious to see the characters in action again. I'm planning on giving the new characters a benefit of a doubt. I think I can trust Mizushima to not add in characters for the sake of useless fanservice. I'm interested in this Klaus guy that Shirin's working with. Hey, if he's working with Shirin, he can't be that bad. Of course, I'm interested in Andrei, just because Shiratori is voicing him. (If we get some more crack side stories or something, I so want him to put on a HRL-style labcoat and glasses. Yes, I think Andrei would look awesome in glasses.) Oh yeah, more kick-ass mecha battles! Preferably along the line of awesome that was Graham vs. Johann. That will always be one of my favorite battles of the first season.

Next, what I want to see. I want more Hong Long action! Hong Long's worth more than just being Wang's man-bitch with the awesome outfit. I think I want a bitchfight between Louise and Nena, just to see the two most annoying characters tear each other apart. Maybe have Tieria intervene and show those two who the real bitch of the series is? Yeah, I'm looking forward to more bitchy Tieria, too. And Lasse! I'm so happy he survived! I think I'd also like to see Saji work with Celestial Being. He could work with Ian, which could be pretty cool. I also want to see Feldt be more than just a bridge bunny. I can kinda see some drama between her and Lyle, which would be fine.

Now for a few things I don't want to see. First of all, I don't want the series to spiral out of control like R2 did. Watching that happen was really sad. I know we also have a fanservice quotient to fill, but let's not get to the point like Turn 5 was. Maybe we already did with ep. 8, last year? (At least Alle voiced a complaint about it.) I'm still not liking the whole thing with Lyle. I'll give him a chance, but you just can't replace Neil. Neil was Lockon. Our beloved Stupid Sexy Lockon. I already said that I could see some drama between him and Feldt, but I think the other Celestial Being members will have some pretty good reactions, too. I wonder how Tieria would react.

I'm a little nervous about what my two Union boys have been doing lately. Hamu-sama may not be the same Hamu-sama we used to know, and that scares me. I don't want Graham to be the ultimate evil, that's Ali's terrain! I like the old egotistical, yet honorable otaku-ish Graham. But, that's the fate of the Char clone, I guess; and I know he'll make for an excellent Char clone. And I really don't know how I feel about Sumeragi sleeping with Kata-yan. I know he's wanted Sumeragi for so long, but I just don't think that relationship is going to work out. Then again, I suppose he got turned off by Graham's stupid mask. Could you imagine Graham wearing that thing to bed? That would turn off anyone's sex drive.

I think that's all I need to say, for now. I'm going to make another post shortly; using that character meme I found.

Mecha-Hara Megane

So, I got SE 4, and Ioved every minute of Lloyd and Cecile's Welcome Knightmare-san. I think I have to do a bullet point summary for this one. I'll only hit the points that really amused me. Knowing how I feel about Lloyd and Cecile, there's going to be a lot of them.

Inoue used her 17sai joke during Cecile's introduction. Then, Lloyd's like, "Everyone in our audience, please respond loud and clear." "OI, OI!". Lloyd's "ARIGATOU~!!!" after Cecile does the advertising credits was great. XD

When Guren finished her introduction, Lloyd's mechaphilia comes into play. Something about "Later on, I'd like to do various kinds of maintenance on your body." (I used my dictionary to make sure.) I think a better translation for that would be, "Later on, I'd like to play around with your body." Yeah, not subtle at all, Your Puddingness. Cecile says something about "mecha-hara megane". lol Mecha-hara, that's a new one. Hmm...Boku no Mechanical Harassment, anyone?

Who's name was Lloyd saying and got censored out? Something-danshaku.

Ha! Lloyd got bitchy about Gawain's dual voice! I have to agree with him, though. The dual voice was annoying.

Fukuyama as Shinkirou was hilarious. I never thought Shinkirou would sound like a crazy Kansai-ben kinda Knightmare. I thought he'd sound more like Zero. I keep getting this picture of a chibi-ish Shinkirou in my head when he talks.

The Knightmares started fighting with each other, but they calmed down for a bit. Lloyd's like, "Yah~! I thought I was gonna die." =_=' Cecile's hair took a lesson from Keroro and ended up with an afro from Mordred's Hadron Cannon.

Shen-Hu's a smooth talking playboy. When the Knightmares are getting drunk off of liquid sakuradite, Shen-Hu's "Ippai, ippai mata ippai." cracked me up. Not to mention Vincent's "Lancelot-niisan!". Poor Rolo, he's always going to be the little brother.

I have to say, though, Anya's voice was getting more annoying than Gawain's dual voice. -_-' I don't think I like Gotou's moe voice much, especially on those really high notes. And this is coming from someone who likes a guy with a really bizarre voice. ^_^'

So, can we just get a comedic spin-off series, yet?

Taking A Little Break From The Angst

So, Mom had the day off today, and we went to do some shopping. I got some new blades for my X-acto knife, so I could finally finish my Union Flag model. Besides putting it off, my blade got dull. Dull blades are never a good thing, you know. Then, we went to Borders and I got a Japanese-English dictionary! YAY! Now I can properly translate some songs I've been working on! So, now I have a few things to keep my busy while looking for a job. Also, I looked around Lane Bryant for a little bit. There wasn't that much there, but I did see a few things I was interested in. Time for a moment of dorkery! I found a turtleneck sweater that was very similar to Lloyd's, and I almost wanted to try it on. I'll have to do that, next time. I'll be going back to the mall in a few days or so, anyway, because I have an application that I need to turn in!

I got another application for Borders, which I would be more than happy to work for. They had a Help Wanted sign up, so I thought it would be the best opportunity. (It worked with me and Suncoast, too.) Another job prospect I'm interested in looking into was for a bakery that's opening soon. I think I might wait on that one, just so I can see what kind of baked goods they make and how the shop is set up. But if they need a bread specialist, I'd be happy to work for them. I have my Solar Hands, after all. XD

During lunch, Mom and I talked about my upcoming date. Yeah, if I hadn't said it already, Addy is going to be spending some time with me, next month. I'm really nervous about breaking the news to Dad, because I know he's going to go off on me when I do. I was hoping that the Best Western would've opened by now, but it hasn't. So, I really don't know where he's going to sleep. I'd let him sleep here, but...well, it would be really awkward. As for activities for us to do, it's pretty much up in the air right now. Our plans were for dinner and a movie, but I'm having trouble deciding on good places to go and there really doesn't seem to be any good movies coming out. If he ends up coming around my birthday, we are so going to Anime Pop together! ^_^

I should be acquiring Sound Episode 4 very soon. I don't care how it turns out, but be prepared for massive fangirling over the Lloyd and Cecile track!

Looking Back on Geass (Part 2)

Okay, time for me to fangirl and rant about the characters. I'll talk briefly on my top 10 favorites and why I love them so much. There will be some ranting to go along with it. I just need to get my feelings out on a few characters for the last time. With that said, on to Aya's Top 10 Geass Characters!

1. Lloyd Asplund: He's the reason why I stuck with the series in the first place.
2. Cecile Croomy: My favorite female in this series. I would've liked to have learned more about her, though.
3. Rolo Lamperouge: His life was tragic. All he wanted was someone to love him.
4. Gilbert GP Guilford: Loyal to a fault, but will never give up for his princess' sake.
5. Jeremiah Gottwald: Arrogant elitist-turned insane cyborg-turned badass-turned orange farmer!
6. Diethard Ried: Zerogasmic!
7. Cornelia Li Britannia: One badass woman!
8. Lelouch Lamperouge/Vi Britannia: A protagonist who has my respect.
9. Rivalz Cardemonde: He's irrelevant, but I like him.

10. Nina Einstein: She's hated, but I like her. Like with Lloyd, I have a good understanding of her mindset.

Next, I'm going to go on a few rants. The first is obvious, my resentment over the lack of character development in R2. -sigh- Okay, I think we all know by now that I despise Gino and Anya. I felt like they were tacked on for appeal, but I gave them a small benefit of a doubt. Well, I was right. They were all style and no substance; neither one of them did anything of merit throughout R2 at all. Anya was only a plot device for something that could've easily gone in a different direction and achieved the same result. All I saw was this apathetic loli that was created to please the lolicons. (Tianzi is guilty of this to an extent, too. However, she actually had a plot.) Gino had absolutely no point of being in the series at all. I think even Rivalz had more character than he did, and that's saying something. Then there's my whole grudge against them whoring the screentime away from Lloyd and Cecile, which I know is childish and I need to give it a rest. Still, I think that Lloyd and Cecile had more personality and character than Gino and Anya ever had.

I guess I shouldn't only point my finger and Gino and Anya, either. While Xingke was interesting, he lost most of his purpose after the China arc. And it really surprised me, for someone who's supposed to be as smart as Lelouch and as strong as Suzaku to fall in with Schneizel's side. Then again, Lelouch had to play his "I'm the biggest bastard in the world" card and keep Tianzi hostage with Kaguya. And Kannon, while I liked him for a time, he was pretty much just yaoi bait. I tried to like him after the cockblocking in Turn 17, but I just couldn't get myself to. Lohmeyer was a bitch to the end, and deserved what she got. And Shirin pwns her anyday! In short, I think almost all of the R2 characters sucked.

Then, there's the few characters that I really never liked. Shirley was my absolute least favorite ever since the beginning. Her naivety, her pining over Lelouch, and her attitude pissed me off. I still think they should've just offed her during the Mao arc, instead of waiting around for Rolo to do it. Villetta always annoyed me with that two-faced personality of her's. Exactly how many times did she switch over from selfish bitch to dere-dere for Ohgi anyway? While I am still mad about Ohgi's betrayal, I do think Villetta does share a lot of the blame. She's the ho that Ohgi betrayed his bro for, after all. I know that everyone blames Ohgi, but they probably wouldn't have if Ohgi was a woman, instead. (Yeah, I blame most of the fans for excusing Villetta because she has breasts.) And I'm still not liking how easy she got off, either. I found her to be one of the most vile women in this series, and she gets the best ending.

Also, I do think that some of the characters got screwed up, later on. My classic example of this is Asahina, but I think Schneizel might be another one. I have this feeling that he was supposed to do something a lot bigger than what he did. I was under the impression that he was this manipulative bastard, who would go to any length to get what he wanted. He was, but I still feel like they were supposed to do something more with him. Another character I loved was Diethard, and was really sickened with what happened with him. He and Tamaki held out the longest in the confrontation with Schneizel, and yet, Diethard (who is probably the smartest of the group) ends up going along with the betrayal. Then, he ends up fanboying over Schneizel instead of Zero-sama. T_T Why? Just why? And Ohgi; I liked the guy until Villetta came back and they screwed things up. I can't believe that I actually shipped them, once. He and the others betrayed the man who saved their lives and caused them to rise up all just because of that whore! I guess I should be happy that my loyalties ultimately lie with Lloyd and Cecile, because after the BK did that I could never look at them in the same way again.

Even though I hate character massacres, I do think that some of them should've just died. Xingke had to at some point, but it never happened on camera. Villetta and/or Ohgi should have, but they saved them with knocking up Villetta. Schneizel, Nunnally, C.C., and even Jeremiah probably should've died as well. C.C. wanted to; Schneizel and Nunnally both had tons of blood on their hands, and Jeremiah wasn't even totally human. I would've loved to see Gino and Anya die, too; but that's just me. What really gets me, though, is that both the shota are killed and the lolis live.

I still have some stuff I want to say about my beloved duo, but that's for a different post entirely. I'm still getting it together, so it may be a while.

Looking Back on Geass (Part 1)

I felt like I'd be a bitch if switched into G00 mode, today. I need to say a few more things about Code Geass before I put it to rest. So, today, I'm going to look back on both seasons and talk about some random things.

As I've said before, I started Code Geass feeling like it wasn't living up to its hype. I was originally going to drop it, but I couldn't bring myself to; of course, we all know why. I think it was around Stage 8 when I started getting into the series itself. Something about Zero and the Black Knights making their first appearance really impressed me. They were rebels who weren't going to bow down to the empire, and I liked that.

Throughout season one, I started growing more and more fond of Geass. There were a lot of plots and characters that I had really taken a liking to. Plus the music and the atmosphere had this kinda "film noir-ish" feel to it, and I liked that. And while the series dealt with serious issues, there were some really funny moments to balance it out. Sure, there were moments that made me cringe and get annoyed, but it was still pretty fun.

After about half a year, we finally got our second season. R2, compared to R1, was different. It started out paralleling the first series, but with different situations. Not to mention that a bunch of new characters were added. While I knew it was the same series, I automatically felt a different feeling from it. When Turn 1 aired, I said it was like reuniting with an old friend. However, time makes people change. I just felt like there was something off with R2, but I couldn't figure out what.

As the series went on, I started noticing that I wasn't liking how the plot played out. There were some questions that I wanted answers to, but I never got them. I was losing my patience with certain characters and the way how their characterization was going. I tried to keep my faith in the writers, but everything was just falling apart. Then, there was the interview with Taniguchi and his feeling about the time change and everything. I had felt like there was something going on behind the scenes before this, but it was good to get some confirmation on it. I still wouldn't mind hearing more on the R2 that Taniguchi originally envisioned. (I already read something about a female Zero and a Ryvius-like situation. hehe) In the end, I'm pretty sure the end result would've been the same, regardless of what happened.

As far as situations go, there were a lot of moments that I loved. Some of my favorite moments were: anything involving Lloyd, Diethard's Zero-gasms, Jeremiah's denial over being an Orange or his moments of badassery, Milly's perversion, and Cecile's cooking. For R1: "Orenjii ja nai desu...ZEROOOOOO!!!" (Stage 11), When Rivalz finds out Lloyd is Milly's fiancee (Stage 18), "Ah...pizza..." (Stage 21), and Lloyd's little moment of angst in Stage 25. For R2: any scene involving Rolo and what it means to be human, the epic sandwich scene (Turn 7), Guilford giving Suzaku advice (Turn 12), when Cornelia and Guilford reunite (Turn 24), and seeing Jeremiah working on an orange farm in the end of Turn 25.

In the next part, I'll be discussing characters. My top 10, my reasons for loving them, etc. There will be some massive fangirling and ranting in that post, so get ready.

Geass R2-Turn 25

I expected that's what was going to happen. I figured that one out even before the end of season one. The way it happened, however, I didn't count on. While I'm satisfied, I still have this empty feeling in my chest. And yes, I did cry over Lelouch and the ending.

Oh, Lelouch, you were a liar to the end. I liked him; he was an interesting protagonist. He had my respect for what he had accomplished. His theatrical way of doing things was beyond amusing. Still, like I said, I knew that was going to be the outcome of his actions; that stupid martyr complex of his. What I didn't expect was that Suzaku was the one who did it, but it was what Lelouch planned out all along. To make the whole world hate him and to be killed by Zero, that was Zero's Requiem.

I totally thought that Suzaku died in that battle with Kallen. However, when Zero showed up and started doing unnatural physical activity, I knew it was Suzaku. To be honest, I still don't know what I think of Suzaku. He was complex; too complex for me to really understand. But I think I gained some respect for him, in the end. So now, he's become Nunnally's Knight of Zero...wearing the Zero costume.

I'm still a bit iffy on Kallen's ending. I'm glad that she can return to Ashford without having to hide her identity, her mother's fine, and she's happy. From my understanding, she hooked up with Gino. (So, his only purpose in the grand scheme of things was to be a love interest for Kallen. Great.) I guess it was like with Ikumi, I just have to accept it. I think she's learned from all of this, though. If she could look at a picture of Lelouch and smile, then I think its okay.

As for the other characters, they all seemed to have gotten good endings. Ohgi and Villetta got married, and Ohgi's Prime Minister of Japan. Tamaki opened a bar, which is pretty fitting for him. (I don't think anyone would take him seriously if he became a bureaucrat, anyway.) I'm assuming Tohdoh and Chiba got married. Same with Cornelia and Guilford. (YES!!!) Lloyd and Cecile are ambiguous, but if it isn't Lloyd/Cecile, it's Lloyd/Cecile/Milly/Nina. PUDDING PIMP FTW!!! It didn't seem like Rivalz ended up with Milly, but perhaps Mia? That's cute, two irrelevant side characters getting an ending together. What really had me laughing was Jeremiah working on an orange plantation with Anya. Ah, Jeremiah, you really have embraced the Orange.

Oh, kudos to Nina for asking about Lloyd and Rakshata! Sadly, we didn't get any light shed on the situation. All Cecile said is that it was a minor thing. And yes, I drooled over Lloyd in bondage gear. I guess that's going to be my Pudding Service. -shrug- (Would've liked something a little more interesting, though.)

In the end, there were some subplots that still hadn't been resolved. We never did learn C.C.'s real name, among other things. I still have a little hope for an OVA, but even I think that's too much to wish for. From what it seems like, Taniguchi-tachi are done. I kinda got that feeling near the end of the series, the feeling that they just couldn't take anymore. (Maybe, in a sense, Lelouch is Taniguchi.)

To be honest, I can't bring myself to do a Checkpoint for this episode. If I did, I'd probably start bawling my head off again. I probably would've done it on Lelouch, out of respect. He really was a tragic character, through and through. While I think his death was a fitting end for him, I still feel this intense sadness. I think I cried just as hard as Nunnally did, to be honest. It'll take some time, but I'll get over it. Still, I feel like I shouldn't end this post without something. So, as we have said before...

ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!

Feeling Down About Tonight

Well, tonight is the series finale of Code Geass. It's been a long time coming, but I'm sad to see it go. I'm pretty sure I'll end up crying when the episode ends. Heck, I'm more than likely going to end up crying while watching the episode.

Yeah, R2 wasn't what I had hoped it would be, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I don't think it's the "trainwreck" that some people make it out to be, though. Still, I don't think it lived up to it's potential. Then again, I blame executive/coporate meddling for that, mostly. (If the same happens to G00, I'm gonna be mad.) I've already mentioned my reasons for not liking it as much as R1, so I won't bother saying it again. Why bother repeating myself for the umpteenth time?

I did think that the series did get some of it's bite back, last episode; but sadly, it came at a time too late. I hope that tonight's Final Turn let's the series go out with a bang. I think at least some of the characters deserve a good ending. I still don't think Villetta's worthy of one, but if she and Ohgi survive, I'll just have to let it go. (Ryvius' Ikumi and Faina turned out to be a couple of psychopaths, and they had decent endings; which did annoy me a bit. For reference, Ore-Suzaku=Ikumi, and Nina/Current Kallen=Faina.) Oh well, if I get my Cornelia/Guilford and Team Lancelot happy endings, I'll be pleased.

So, what will I miss from this series? Lloyd and Cecile, for sure. I'm gonna miss the interactions between those two and Suzaku, as well as Lloyd just being himself. I'll miss the waits for the magazine scans and spoilers. I'll miss reading the reactions to the episodes, the extreme fangirling, the ranting, the long waits for my fansubs to download, and I'll miss making posts like this.

I think I'll make a post about my favorite moments and such, later on this week. I'll be covering SE 4 when it comes out, too. (Looking forward to the Lloyd and Cecile's Welcome Knightmare-san track!) I think what I'll end up doing is do my G00 prep posts every other day, while doing my final CG posts on the others. I just need to organize what's going to be on what day. -_-'

Also, I have an LJ now. So, if I do any picspam posts, they'll be on there. If anyone (who even sees this blog) is interested, my name is seshiru_san. Yes, as in the Japanese pronounciation of "Cecile". I'll probably end up doing some picspamming over there, in the next few days or so. It depends on what and my limitations with the pictures.

The Office Season 5 Premiere

Okay, that was like the best premiere for The Office, ever. In my opinion, it even beat out The Dundies. It was just awesome. It had that classic Office feel to it that I love.

First of all, let me just say how much I love Holly. She's just perfect for Michael. She's a dork, she jokes around, but she knows her limits. -sigh- Poor Holly. She had a few really awkward moments, tonight. First, there was that little conversation with Oscar. Fortunately for her, they ended up joking with each other and got to be quite friendly too. Second, the Slow Kevin thing continued. XD Angela's bitching at Kevin and Holly jumps in to defend him. She accidentally slips up, leading to Kevin to ask her, "Do you think...I'm retarded?" rofl Man, her social skills are just as bad as mine.

Second, we finally got our Jam proposal. Yeah, Mom and I cheered when it happened. How could we not? But man, for a while there, I though Pam was going to end up straying with that classmate of her's. Now that she's got her ring, I think we're safe. Unless the writers want to screw with us, of course.

Okay, so Andy and Angela are engaged. However, things aren't going as well as Andy thinks they are. Throughout the episode, Angela pages Dwight and they go make out in the warehouse. I almost feel sorry for Andy, but Dwight's my priority. Speaking of which, even though he was being a jerk, he totally had me cracking up. I'm sorry, but something about him kicking Stanley's cake made me lose it. Now, people are already speculating that Angela's pregnant with Dwight's child, but I'm not quite sure, yet. I'd prefer it if she wasn't, but it could end up being the driving wedge between her and Andy. Still, that's a pretty soap opera-y way of doing it, and this is by far not supposed to be a soap opera.

So, Ryan also got demoted and went back to being a temp. (Ooh! Ryan's an Orange, now?) So, he's going around and kissing everyone's asses, trying to get everyone to think he's changed. If that's so, then why does he have a Death Note with him? Seriously, he's carrying around a little black notebook to write people's names in; so when he gets back on top, he can fire them. Still, it astounds me that he got out of jail that quickly. The guy was charged for fraud! And he's a cokehead, too! Meh.

Anyhow, the plot of the episode itself was that Dunder-Mifflin was having a "Biggest Loser" type contest between the branches. Dwight, being Dwight, took it way too seriously. He put produce in the vending machine (which attracted insects), tricked Phyllis into going somewhere with him and dumping her five miles away from the office (so she could walk back), and "randomly" calling out people who needed to get liposuction (Stanley, Phyllis, and Kevin. Yeah, like that's not random at all, Dwight.) I can't really remember, but I think Utica ended up winning. All I remember was the mention of Utica. (Cue the needless Utica rage. Damn you, Karen!)

There were a few minor things that amused me, also. One was that Toby ended up getting injured in Costa Rica. I'd feel sorry for him, but I don't. I burned that bridge after what he tried to do to Jim. (Speculation Time: Maybe he ends up going back to Dunder-Mifflin, and that's why Holly is only around for a few episodes. NOOOOOO!!! I don't want that! Need more Holly!) Oscar got some good screentime, which is always nice. I like Oscar, what can I say? And, for once, Kelly really didn't annoy me. I know she was making out with Darryl in front of Ryan just to make him jealous, but she seems to have partially accessed her un-crazy side. Wow. Oh yeah, and webcam Pam's (literally) talking head segment! That was the best TH ever!

I think the only thing that really disappointed me was Michael wimping out on Holly. He was doing so good, and then he just loses it! Gah! Michael, you like her, she seems to like you, quit stalling out! If any of the office romances interest me this season, it's this one. Jim and Pam are doing fine, Angela's got herself stuck in an engagement and is getting it on with her ex, but Michael and Holly are so interesting together. And cute, too! He had enough balls to stick with Jan that whole time, despite the abuse he was getting. Why can't he move on to someone more fitting for him? Is he scared? Shy? Doesn't want to abandon Jan? Poor Michael.

Just Another Fangirling Post

To begin, I'm way excited for tomorrow's premier of The Office! Yah~! I'm a little nervous about what happened to Jim and Pam, after the botched engagement attempt. -glares at Andy- Oh well, just wait until he hears his fiancee cheated on him with her ex-ex-boyfriend. KUKUKU~!!! (Yeah, like Phyllis won't say anything about it!) And I hear that Toby ended up coming back. -facepalm- I wouldn't mind it so much if he didn't become such a jerk. Need I remind some out there about him feeling up Pam's leg, and trying to get Jim fired out of jealousy? And what about Ryan's arrest? I'm sure we'll find out who the father of Psycho Bitch's baby will be, and I'm still thinking it's Hunter. Come on, Micheal! Kick Jan to the curb and go after Holly! Speaking of Holly, I don't want Kevin to end up causing another love triangle! T_T I love Kevin, but Micheal and Holly complete each other! But most of all, I can't wait to see more of Dwight! Because...HE'S AWESOME!!!

I finally got my R2 OST 2, and have been torturing myself to Boku wa, Tori ni Naru. It's such a pretty song, but I have such a hard time listening to it. It's just one of those songs that I'll end up crying to, regardless. -sniff- Rolo...

On the other side, I also got to listen to snippets of Lockon's songs on niconico. They weren't the full versions, just pieces from Celestial Station. I liked what I heard of Eternal Spiral, but I didn't really care for Answer. It makes me a little sad because I love Miki and Lockon so much. I'm even getting a little nervous about Tieria and Alle's now. And I wasn't too fond of Setsuna's either. -sigh-

Continuing on with the cd subject, I hear that Nunnally gets the character song for the 5th R2 Sound Episode. -facepalm- Sorry, but Nunnally hasn't really impressed me much. I know she's important to the plot, but that's all she's there for. She's just an annoying plot point, like Shirley was. Why do the same characters over again, when there's a whole bunch of others who should've gotten a song. It's like that fanservice rule I have; if you're going to give fanservice, then share the wealth! And quite ironically, the only song for R2 I've liked was Rolo's, who'll only have one. For the final album, I'd like to hear someone who hasn't sung yet get a song. Someone who actually contributed to the plot, and wasn't just there for fanbait. Sakurai recently announced that he'd be singing again, so maybe we'll get one for Suzaku. (Of course, I still think it would be adorable if Lloyd and Cecile were added for a trio. They're Team Lancelot, after all!)

As for next week, I'm not sure how I can actually stretch out the G00 fangirling. Maybe focus on each of the factions, and my predictions, etc? If I did that, expect a huge post fangirling over Graham and Katagiri; as they're the only surviving members of the Union. Oh, and I'm hoping that Andre will be cool. He's got a cool dad, and his seiyuu has been doing one of the most awesome guys of Geass.

Gundam Fight! Ready? Go!

I'm loving the second drama cd so much, right now. The Meisters' side is great. It's about Setsuna when he just joined Celestial Being. Lockon's the best, he just took Setsuna in as his little brother right away. Tieria, as we know, was very skeptical of Setsuna being a Meister. Apparently, he checked in with Veda, and it appears that Setsuna may not have been chosen by Veda. And we all know how Tieria was about Veda, back then. Anyhow, he ends up having a mock battle against Setsuna. Besides Big Brother Lockon and Bitchy Tieria, I loved Sumeragi's call back to G Gundam with the "Gundam Fight! Ready? GO!". Sumeragi has good tastes! (Yeah, I thought G Gundam was awesome!)

Then, there's the Union side. -waves the Union flag with pride- First, I just have to say that Graham reminded me of Alto-hime a lot in this story. Not only does Graham have a mech obsession, he's got an obsession with flying, too. (Are we sure that Alto-hime isn't Hamu and Kata-yan's lovechild?) From what was said, Hamu is an orphan. Despite not having much, he is a genius pilot; pulling off the first Graham Special without even reading the Flag manual and it was his first time in flight. (You go, Hamu-sama!) And Katagiri was the one who came up with the name, "Graham Special"! Hamu ends up rejecting his superior officer's request to marry his daughter, and has a simulation battle with him; which, as we all know, ends up with his superior getting killed. That last little scene between him and Katagiri nearly made me cry.

I loved both the stories, but I think I'm more inclined to like the Union Flag story. It might be the Union fangirl in me, but Graham's story was more interesting. And yay for Howard Mason making an appearance! (Yes, I do like Howard and Darryl.) Don't get me wrong, I liked the Meisters' story, too. It wasn't as heavy as the Union one; the only heavy thing was Tieria being a bitch. But Graham's just had more to it. -sniff- It makes me so proud to be a Union fangirl!

A Little Fun

Since R2 is coming to a close, I decided to do a little meme-age. I haven't really done one before, but have wanted to. I know they're kinda big in the LJ community, but since I just have this humble blog, I can't interact. But I really wanted to do this, so I'm doing it.

1. The first character I fell I fell in love with: Lloyd! It was a self-fulfilled prophecy ever since I saw his character design on the website. I was a little taken aback by his voice, at first, but I've grown to like it. It fits his character. As for why I like him; he's funny, cute, flawed as hell (At least he admits to this.), but I also have a good understanding of his mindset. I'm actually not too different from him, either. I'm afraid to get too close to people, I'm kind of a mechaphile myself (Though I'm not as bad as he and Graham are.), my social skills suck, I talk a big game, but I'm also a coward; I won't give into my rivals, I'm sarcastic, and just a bit on the immature side.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Guilford, Cecile, and Rolo. I started out liking Guilford for shallow reasons, but he showed he was more than just a handsome knight. I never really thought much of Cecile at first, to be honest. I saw her as Lloyd's assistant, and nothing more. However, when she started doing stuff, I began to like her; and now she's my favorite female in the cast. I started out being very suspicious of Rolo, but he quickly gained my sympathy. Plus, he did me a huge favor by killing Shirley.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Shirley, Villetta, Gino, and Anya. Shirley was just annoying and got in the way a lot. Villetta's personality just irks me. She's two-faced, prideful, and will step on anyone to get what she wants. If only Ohgi saw more of that side of her. As for Gino and Anya, they really didn't need to be added. They're just boring and useless, and I still blame them for Lloyd and Cecile getting shafted this season.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Diethard and Nina. Diethard amused me greatly with his fanboyism, and he was voiced by Jouji Nakata. Nina's a no-brainer, but she's really grown throughout the latter half of R2.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Ohgi. Yeah, I liked him for a long time, but when he sold out Zero for Villetta, I lost all respect for him.

6. The character I used to dislike, but don't any longer: Cornelia and Jeremiah. I hated these two for a long time, Jeremiah more than Cornelia. I started liking Cornelia more, when Euphy started showing just how naive and dense she was. She totally won me over in Stage 21, with her reaction to the SAZ announcement. I didn't start liking Jeremiah until midway through R2. In R1, he was an arrogant jackass who needed to be put in his place. Thus, I liked taking part in Orange Abuse. However, he impressed me with his return in R2. I'm certain he'll finally die in the final turn, but I can see him going out in the most GAR way possible for anyone in this series.

7. The character I would shag anytime: -smirk- Lloyd; probably with pudding and mechs involved. I could always go the extra mile and invite Guilford and Asahina, and make it a glasses orgy. (Except that Asa-hii's no longer alive. T_T) I probably wouldn't mind having a night with Kannon, either. Sadly, he prefers men. (Meh. Just like with Ernest, he had to fall in love with a jerk. Though Schneizel's a whole lot worse that Garu was..)

8. The character I'd want to be like: Probably Guilford. I still think he's the most decent man in Britannia. He's loyal, honorable, a gentleman; he never gives up, and he's a great pilot (When he isn't jobbing to the BK.).

9. The character I'd slap: Shirley and Villetta, for sure; but also to get some sense into Kallen and Nunnally. The former two are pretty obvious; as their existences offend me. Kallen's thoughts and actions have disgusted me, as of late; and Nunnally's become the second Genocide Princess.

10. A pairing that I love: Cecile/Lloyd and Cornelia/Guilford (As if you didn't know already!). I can certainly see Cornelia and Guilford ending up together, now that they've finally reunited. As for Lloyd and Cecile, I've always seen them as the crazy manzai-ish married couple. Sort of like how Lelouch and C.C. are, but more relaxed.

11. A pairing I despise: Lulu/Shirley (I never really saw Lulu liking her in that way. Plus, she did jack to even get him. Milly had to do it for her.), SuzaLulu (Too much bad blood.), and Ohgi/Villetta (Due to circumstances.).

12 The character must and musn't die: Must-Since I see Ohgi surviving, probably just Nunnally. Nunnally's become what I think Euphy and Shirley would've been, if they became one in a genetic experiment gone wrong. She's naive and in the way, which is partially why I hated Shirley in the first place. Mustn't-Cornelia and Gil seem safe, so I'd say: Lloyd, Cecile, Nina, and I kinda want to see Kannon survive, too. Lloyd and Cecile are obvious, but Nina's done enough to warrant a somewhat happy end. As for Kannon, I want him to be able to redeem himself for everything he did for Schneizel. He just seemed so sad, lately. Plus, I'd like to see an androgynous bishie survive, for a change.

13. The character musn't have died: Rolo. I understand why he died, but it still broke my heart. And that song still makes me tear up. T_T I don't think Asahina should've died, either. I still feel like his getting suspicious was really random, and was a way to just kill him off. Rather him than Chiba, right? -rolls eyes-

Geass R2-Turn 24

Well, after this, just one more to go. I have to say, despite the stupidity among some of the characters, this episode felt like classic Geass to me. It is sad that it felt that way a little too late, though. But enough about that, let's get started.

I'll start with Nina. To think that just about a year ago, she tried to cause a massacre with her attempt at suicide. She really has come a long way. I have to say, I'm proud of her. She still loves her Euphemia-sama, but she's learned a lot from her attempts for revenge.

-sigh- It's official, Kallen's become the new Villetta in terms of flip-flopping. Gah! She may have annoyed me at times, but you'd think she'd get it by now. I know she liked Lelouch, but all she wants to do is kill him now. It's to the point where it's gotten beyond ridiculous, and now I wouldn't mind seeing her be taken out by Suzaku. But I just know it's going to be the other way around. If anything bad happens to Suzaku or Lelouch, let's just say she's "gonna carry that weight".

I know I've bitched about Gino enough, but seriously. What is his point in this series?! One minute, he opposes Schneizel; the next, he's kissing his ass. Add in the fact that he's fangirl bait (Which didn't even work on this fangirl at all.); and I just don't get him. Can someone please take him out, next episode? Anya too?

As far as casualties, the only one was Diethard. Yes, Diethard. I was a little sad, but after seeing how far he went, I was a little indifferent. He was amusing, but after the BK coup, he just went downhill. And I liked his fangasmic nature, too. But, I guess this is a lesson to us all; fangasming too hard can be deadly. Even as he was dying from the gunshot wound, he wanted Lelouch to Geass him. Sadly, "He was unfit to be Geassed". (Since when was Lelouch friends with Tieria?) Still, Heigar from Ryvius got off a lot easier than Diet did. It's been a while since I watched Ryvius, but I think he got off totally scott-free. He might have been beaten up in some way, but I can't really remember. Oh, well. It doesn't matter now.

I think the confrontation with Schneizel was a little on the anti-climactic side, but it was okay. It kinda confuses me on why Lulu would Geass Schneizel instead of kill him, though. I guess it's because Schneizel really never had much of a will of his own. If you thought Lloyd was apathetic, Schneizel's totally got him beat. I have no idea on what Lulu plans to do with him now, or Kannon for that matter. And I have to admit, Kannon's rape face was quite androgynously delicious. :d

Now for a little bit of fangirlism for Lloyd-tachi. Lelouch had Lloyd, Cecile, and Sayoko (Along with Arthur) go and free the hostages and pretend like they were being forced to work for him. He mentioned a plan (And can't remember the name of said plan.), but their in unison "Yes, your Majesty" was awesome. And I really don't know why, but seeing Lloyd crawl through an air vent was amusing.

As for Nunnally, I'm sorry, but the girl's a tool. Even if she did open her eyes, I still see her as naive and stupid as Euphy was. I'm sure that Lelouch won't use his Geass on her, but she needs some comeuppance. If anything, Lelouch needs to smack her across the face. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but she needs to finally get a clue.

Checkpoint time! It's obvious what scene I'll be focusing in on, tonight. -sniff- It still brings tears to my eyes, thinking about it. I know that you have to suspend your disbelief when watching a Sunrise anime. Sometimes more than others. Yeah, I definitely thought Guilford died in the Fleia incident, and I should be annoyed that he was brought back. However, I don't feel that way at all. I'm more than happy that he's alive, even if he's blind. Like I said earlier, the guy's been put through a lot of shit, this season. He more than deserves the GOOD END that he's getting with Cornelia.

To be honest, I was expecting Cornelia to be talking to Nonnette. But when I saw the long strand of black hair, I was like, "-gasp-...-tears start falling- GIRUFODO~!!!!" (I always did like the way they pronounced his name in Japanese.)

Here's to the Princess and her ever loyal Knight! Good luck, you two!

As for Lloyd and Cecile, I'll go ahead and post the picture of them and Sayoko, after they freed the hostages. Mainly because I think Lloyd's expression is adorable, but what they did was pretty cool. And with Arthur hanging around them, I think it's pretty safe to say that they're coming out of this unscathed. (Kitty hax FTW!) Now, if Lloyd gets over his mechaphilia, it would make for a pretty sweet ending for me. Cecile/Lloyd and Cornelia/Guilford! (Because the ladies are definitely the dominant ones in those pairings!)
