Geass R2-Turn 04

I was going to post this after watching the extended preview for the next episode, but I guess I can't do that now. It appears that Biglobe has decided to block foreign IP addresses, and nico-nico banned the person who put them on their site. It's because I'm Britannian, isn't it?! j/k -moans- And I wanted to see if there was anything interesting in the extended preview, too.

Anyhow, the episode begins with more information on Rolo. (It's been spelled that way more than once in the series, so I'm calling him as such, now.) He's apparantly a child assassin, and has had his Geass ever since. I almost wonder if he was born with it, somehow. Also, his Geass isn't an actual time stop, as speculated. It stops the physical movement time of anyone in the affected radius of his Geass. (I actually considered this, thinking it was sort of like one of Teela's EX abilities from Megami Kouhosei.) Lulu manages to deduce this, and makes a deal to bring C.C. to Rolo.

Back with Li, I'm kind of confused about his actions. Last time, we were left with him wanting to kill the Black Knights. Now, he seems to cooperate with them, yet he kills Gaohai for supporting Zero. (Man! I liked Gaohai!)

While considering how to deal with Rolo and Guilford, Lulu goes with Rivalz to the police station about his bike. Can you believe it? Rivalz's bike is in one piece! Tears of joy hath been shed...on Rivalz's part, anyway.

On Guilford, the guy is loyal to the point that it's almost creepy. When he was talking to the Glaston Knights, there's a collector's plate with a picture of Cornelia on it, behind him. He even salutes to the plate! XD Poor guy must be really lonely without his princess around!

On the duel, it never really got off the ground...wait, it did, kind of. Zero used the same tactic as he did when he started the Black Rebellion. (The Collapsing Stage) The Black Knights ended up in the Chinese Federation territory, and the military had to back off. Poor Guilford! I have never seen that man so pissed off, before.

I have to mention the Black Knights, now. First off, I totally loved Tamaki! When Guilford was about to execute them, he started crying and screamed, YADDA!!!" I think he also started crying when Zero arrived. Then, when Kallen reunited with everyone, he ran to give her a hug. However, Kallen ended up hugging Ohgi, leaving Tamaki to fall over. Also, I have to mention how much I love Sugiyama and Asahina. I'm quite glad that Tamaki was situated next to Sugi the entire time, just so I could look at him. And Villetta still has feelings for Ohgi, for sure! She looked so relieved when he was saved.

If you think Rolo was messed up before, well think again. He ended up following Lulu and tried to kill him, again. However, Lulu decides to give him a mental assault; by Geassing the Glaston Knight's sniper into shooting at Rolo, and taking the hit for him. He manages to convince Rolo that he really cares for him, and Rolo becomes an ally...for now. I'm pretty sure that's another thing that's going to bite Lulu back in the ass, later. But Lulu's intentions aren't pure at all. He's still pissed off about Rolo being a replacement for Nunnally, and plans to use the boy and discard him later. I'm also sure that he's going to end up liking Rolo, and end up with a huge betrayal scene.

I'm not too fond of Lulu using that tactic, at all. While I know he's upset about Nunnally, he's doing what caused me to hate Light and drop Death Note. On the other hand, I don't really know how to react about Rolo. I feel some sympathy for him, but I still have this distrustful feeling towards him. Either way, I'm sure Rolo won't be making it out of this series alive. It's probably better to put him out of his misery, anyway. Just like with Mao.

Final scene, Suzaku's back at Ashford! Even though I'm not too terribly fond of Suzaku, this is going to be interesting. And even though I'm getting sick of these school-related episodes, I think this is going to be a "last hurrah" for those. Remember what happened with the last school festival? Only this time, we get two new characters instead of a princess showing up. And I pray to the Geass Gods that Lloyd and Cecile finally show up!

Also, I should list the causalties for today. Gaohai, who was accused as a traitor by Li. And Alfred and Bart of the Glaston Knights. Bart got hit by Zero's Burai, when it decided to snowboard off the collapsing ground. Alfred got fried by Guren's arm.

With the sad stuff out of the way, it's time for Aya-chan Check! Today, we have a picture from a funny little scene of Kallen and C.C. preparing guns. Apparently, C.C. can't assemble a gun.

Random-ness Again

Why is it that swimsuit shopping is so exhausting? I guess part of it was because I didn't get to bed until late, last night. Still, I'm freaking tired.
Another complaint I have is the styles. Look, just because someone is overweight does not mean that they're middle age. Seriously, the majority of the swimsuit styles for larger women looked too old. I don't understand it. And if you're going to make swimsuits based off of breast size, make more of 42C.
And while I'm on the subject, why is it that the larger size swimsuits are only carried at the most expensive store in the mall? All the other places I went to had very few, while Dillard's had a lot. Yes, I got mine from Dillard's, and it was really expensive. I'm talking triple-digit sum, here. However, I'm happy with it.
Getting off that subject, I'm trying to decide whether I should go to the mass-confirmation at church tomorrow or not. I've known these kids from our old church, and I've bowled with some of their parents. Yeah, my old bowling team was made up of people I used to go to church with. It kind of depends if Dad wants to go to the first service or not. They're getting confirmed at the later service, and that service is too contemporary for my parents. My dad is especially picky about that.
Also, I never got to post my thoughts on the latest episodes of The Office. First off, I'm glad that Michael broke it off with Jan. She was too toxic for him. Second, I'm hating how much the main five are failing so much. Michael just came out of a horrible relationship, Dwight still seems some-what hung up on Angela, Jim and Pam are getting scorned by their co-workers (It seems as though they've been beaten down since the relationship got out.), and now Ryan has a drug addiction problem. Toby had the balls to feel Pam's leg, tell everyone he's moving to Costa Rica, and jump the fence. Though, the one thing that I really liked about the recent episode, was the interactions of Michael, Dwight, and Ryan. Yeah, I have to admit, I was watching with my Fangirl Vision set to "On". Oh, come on! Three guys in a bed, one on drugs, one needy boss, and a loyal dork. It practically wrote itself!
Turn 04, tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing how the duel with Guilford will go. But I still hope that Guilford doesn't turn into Orange-kun the Second! He's got more class and honor than Orange-kun ever had!

Code Geass Dub Ep.1

Let me see, where to begin? Okay, I think the dub is pretty good. I've gotten used to JYB's version of Lelouch, and I seem to be liking it. He still sounds a bit soft, but that could change in the next few episodes. Yuri's Suzaku sounds pretty good, too. C.C. and Kallen might need some work, but I can get used to them. Diethard and Jeremiah are perfect! I knew that their respective VAs would do well with their roles.

I'm starting to like Cecile's voice, and Lloyd is interesting. The only complaint I have about Lloyd right now, is that he doesn't sound as spastic enough. Where Shiratori made him sound energetic and "cute", Liam sounds more...grown up, I guess? It must be the accent. But hey, they kept his "Congratulations!" in! But I will be needing some of Lloyd's more spastic moments to make a full judgment, and I know the next episode has a few.

Yeah, I'm going to be watching the dub every step of the way. Mostly because I'm interested in how the other characters will sound, and see how those I heard today will evolve. But also because I'm such a Geass fangirl, too!

Just A Few More Days...

Yes, just a few more days until the Rebellion starts in America. -evil laugh- I watched the new trailer, this afternoon, as well. I'm fine with C.C. and Cornelia; the latter is just how I thought she'd sound. Nina sounded spot-on! Suzaku, I'm okay with. Lulu is going to take some getting used to, though. It's mostly because Fukuyama gives him a more deeper voice, and JYB sounds higher than I'm used to. I do have to agree with most people that Johnny and Yuri should've had the opposite roles, but Fukuyama and Sakurai did the same. I'm keeping the faith that it will still be a good dub. Still, the trailer lacked my favorites: Lloyd, Cecile, Diethard, and even Orange-kun. Though, I have heard that they all sounded awesome. Just in case I haven't said it, I am planning on watching the dub on the Fix-starting Friday! Expect an update after viewing!

Somehow, someone got screenshots of the preview for Turn 05. I said in an earlier post that Suzaku was supposed to be coming back to Ashford for a while. It looks to be another pizza festival. Let's see if C.C. gets to have her pizza, this time. Or will we have another, "Ah!...Pizza..." moment? Also, Milly is dressed up in that God-awful dress and hat combo that she wore to her match-making session with Lloyd. She also seems to be leaving the school for a while. Plus, it looks like there's some sort of high-class party going on; with ballroom dancing. Hmm~! I hope this means what I think it means! (Rest assured, there will be much celebrating when those two do make their grand appearance.)

Oh yeah, Gino and Anya will be interacting with people, too. I'm still reserving my judgement on them, but they just don't interest me. Its my bias for Lloyd and Cecile, and I'm seeing Gino and Anya as replacing them. I always saw the former as a cute family unit. (Part of the reason why I ship Lloyd/Cecile so hard!) I might end up liking Gino; but to be very honest, Anya scares me! And I'm more interested in Nonnette and "Straight Cougar" than either of them, anyway.

Edit: Addendum! Okay! I just saw a few dub clips on IGN, one of which had Lloyd and Cecile! It may take some time getting used to Cecile's voice, but I'm really liking Liam's take on Lloyd! Sure, he's not Shiratori; but...he's got a British accent! He's got Shiratori's nasally sound, but a British accent, too! I just can't stop grinning over it! On another note, am I hearing Melora Harte in the background? I'm hearing Teela during the "Devicer Set-Up" scene! YAH~!!! But I'm just loving it!!! And Suzaku called Cecile, "Miss Cecile"! YES!!!

Geass R2-Turn 03

I found most of this episode a "cool-down" episode; more easy-going after the epicness of Turn 02. For the most part, it was about Rollo's alliance and Lelouch and Shirley shopping for a birthday present for Villetta-sensei.

First off, the Zero from last time wasn't Zero. It was actually C.C.! There was a rather humorous scene of her and Kallen, when she took off the mask. There's another funny interaction later, that I'll get to in a minute. Anyway, Lulu had C.C. pose as Zero in order to fool Rollo. Speaking of the devil, he was about to Geass Li, but Lulu called him from gym class.

We find out that Villetta is in with Rollo on spying on Lulu. She apparantly knows about C.C., as well. While she's still a soldier, I feel like she's mellowed out a little bit. And she hasn't forgotten her time with Ohgi, either. When Guilford announces that he'll execute the imprisoned Black Knights, she looks sad/regretful.

Back on the subject of Rollo, he is so evil! He was meeting with Villetta in the underground waterway, and some random guy shows up. Despite Villetta shouting at him not to, Rollo uses his time-stop Geass and kills the guy with a knife. Afterwards, he appers to shrug it off, while Villetta looks guilty.

Later, Lulu is looking at student council pictures on his laptop. Some of these are really funny. In a Halloween picture, Milly's teasing Lulu; while jealous Rivalz is about to hit him with a broom! There's a Christmas picture with the Lamperouge siblings dressed as reindeer with Rivalz as an angel; lying on the floor in a rather interesting pose. And an "All You Need Is Love" (AKA: Loser who can't get a date contest!) with Rivalz as the winner! XD (Funny side note: I'm thinking "All I Need Is Love" from Scryed, when I saw this. Good song!) Anyway, Lulu was looking over the pictures and noticed that Nina and Arthur were missing. Very strange, indeed.

Now, about Rollo's locket. As I had heard before, it was given to him by Lulu on his birthday. October 25th, which is actually Nunnally's birthday. Lulu is pissed off, and wants the locket back. Rollo comes in, and Lulu tells him that he should've given him something more masculine and wants to take back the locket. Rollo, however, wants none of that. He's way too attached to the locket. Personally, I think he's hiding something inside of it; picture or not.

For the second half of the episode, Lulu takes Shirley shopping for a present for Villetta. Earlier, Rivalz overheard their conversation and told Milly about it. I swear I heard him say, "Thank you very much for the appointment!" So, of course, Rivalz, Milly, and Rollo end up stalking them! While they were out, Shirley's thinking that their little get together was a date. -groan- I'm really dreading that Lulu's going to end up with Shirley when everything's over! He's still feeling guilty over what happened in S1, plus they had a montage with Masquarade playing in the background. If Shirley can grow up and not be so annoying, then I might think otherwise!

Oh, the other funny C.C./Kallen scene! Kallen's stepping out of the shower (Kallen Stadtfeld-Providing the fanservice...again!), and is looking at Lulu's jacket. She suddenly has a revelation about the whole "bunny costume" thing and goes to yell at C.C. Unfortunately, the latter is having a talk with Li and Gaohai; thus embarassing Kallen further. Gaohai's like, "Zero's a woman?!" Li, however, takes the whole thing in stride. Also, before I forget, C.C. gave Lulu a special contact lens to keep his Geass hidden.

Also, we get a scene of Suzaku tearing up the EU. While we didn't get any Toku-ha scene, we did get Schneizel. He's borrowing the "White Shinigami", for a while. Yes, the guys from the EU called Suzaku/Lancelot the White Shinigami. Seems as though he's acquired a reputation over the past year.

Near the end of the episode, Lulu corners Rollo with a gun. Rollo uses his Geass, takes the gun, and points it at Lulu. Next, Li is mad and wants to destroy the Black Knights. Why? I'm not so sure. Maybe he found out that Zero did something to Gaohai?

Okay, Aya-chan Check time! I've been considering four different things for today's checkpoint. The pictures that Lulu was looking at, any of the Rivalz scenes, the shot of the Black Knights (SUGIYAMA~!), or the end of episode chibi picture. Well, I'm going with the last choice; mostly because I have a minor question about it.

Shouldn't Lloyd be the one building a Knightmare plastic model?

Looks Like Bandai Had A Busy Day!

So, we finally get a release date for Code Geass. From my sources, it's 8/5/08. It's still a long way off, but that could actually be a good thing. At the moment, I can't decide if I want to go for the LE or the 2-disc RE. They have way too many different ways to collect this series. Single discs, three 2-disc sets, and add in the limited edition of said 2-disc sets. I will have to pre-order these, of course; but I'm really tight on money. Which is why I'm glad the release date is still far off. I can get a job and some money within that time frame.

Next, they rescued Gurren Lagann. I still haven't seen GL, but I might have to; being the mech freak that I am. I've heard many things about it. And hey, I like hot-blooded mech series. I'm a Gaogaigar fan, remember?

And the announcement that doesn't surprise me, G00 got licensed. I think they said they're working on a TV deal for G00 and GL. I'm kind of on the fence about this one. I'll watch it if it comes on TV, but I might not buy the DVDs. I just finished the first series a couple of days ago, and the later episodes really messed me up in the head. Mostly over what happened to Lockon, but there were others. As far as dub casting goes, I'm either-or. If we get an LA dub, I'd like Liam O'Brien to play Katagiri-not just because he's doing the voice of my other favorite scientist, but he could pull off the same sound as Yuji Ueda. If they dub it in Canada, whoever does Char's voice in Gundam must do Graham's voice!

Putting that aside, the Geass dub was supposed to premier at NYCC and Kawaii Kon this weekend. Personally, I'd be thrilled if someone took some audio recordings. However, we do only have to wait one more week until it comes on AS. Actually, I believe they'll be putting it up on their website on the 25th. Don't quote me on this, because I can't take their schedules seriously sometimes. -rolls eyes- But I'm still looking forward to the dub very much! I have faith that it will be awesome!

Sociology Has Left Me In Despair, Again!

I know I should be happy about my sister's birthday, today. As I said yesterday, she's now 21. I ended up taking her to lunch in between classes, because I felt like it.

But right now, I'm not feeling all that positive. She and Jake ditched their other classes for her to go buy some booze, and Jake has missed way too much of Algebra lately. Aly ditched me before Government, last night, too. I'm beginning to feel like I'm the most responsible of all three of us. Oh wait! I know I am!

Now then, today's Sociology class. It started with that half-assed paper I did. I don't normally have a stapler around the house-since Mom always takes it with her to work-and couldn't staple my paper. So, I asked my instructor if she had one and she didn't. So, while the class was watching a video over gender issues in the workplace, I went out to get my paper stapled. Thank goodness that my Algebra teacher's office was around the corner. -rolls eyes-

I saw Adrian sitting at a table earlier, so I went to see him for a while. I was already kind of upset about being ditched and having to go staple my paper, so I wanted someone to talk to for a while. After we talked for a while, I went back to class.

Back in class, they were comparing the suicide rates between America and Japan. I didn't really want to listen to something like that, but I felt like I had no choice. When our instructor mentioned, "hari kari", I just had to ask, "You mean "hara-kiri"?" So, I talked a little about the whole Bushido thing. Then, she mentioned a story about a Japanese guy that sounded like your stereotypical middle-age otaku. I'm thinking, "He sounds like a hikkikomori." Then, she asked me if I knew what a hikkikomori was. Yep! You could say, "Welcome to the NHK"?

Now then, after class, I turned in my paper. Right when I'm at the door, she says that I did the paper wrong. OH GREAT! I'm already upset enough as it is, and now this happens. I didn't want to deal with it anymore, so-without looking at her-I said, "I really don't want to talk about this, right now."

I had already cried once today, and I ended up shedding a few tears during the suicide talk. I don't want to end up crying a third time. I swear, everytime other time I go to that class, we talk about something that I have some sort of a tie to. I guess my time of the month is coming or something, but my hypersensitivity about "kamikaze pilots" is at a high, right now. So stupid! I knew I should've waited to watch that episode on Saturday!

On a lighter note, however, yesterday's leak was all a big accident. We still get our episode on Sunday, and my wait for Lloyd and Cecile won't be prolonged! Still, I'm a little concerned about Guilford. Comparing the mirrors to season one, he's going the way of Orange-kun. I don't want Guilford to become Orange-kun the Second! I like what happened to Orange-kun because he was an arrogant Purist who needed to be taken down a few notches. From what I've seen, Guilford isn't like that. Plus, he doesn't strike me as the comedic type-despite giving Jeremiah the "Orange-kun" nickname. (Kewell-tachi always called him "Orange", remember?)

Well, I have tomorrow off; so, I think I might drink something tonight. I probably should anyway, to celebrate Aly's birthday.

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Over the past two days, I've been an epic failure! Yesterday, I got hungry during my hour off. So, I raced back to Wylie to pick up some sushi. Hey! I don't know my way around Plano, all that well! I raced back to the campus, quickly downed my sushi in the car, and ran to Algebra. I was a few minutes late, but I really didn't care. Nevertheless, I don't think I'll be doing that again.

Next, this morning, I attempted to make an omelet. I haven't done so in a while, and wanted something warm for breakfast. Now then, why is it that I'm able to cook complex dishes, but can't make a simple omelet?!? It was more like a scrambled egg pancake that was torn up with cheese and mushrooms.

Later, I have to do my book report for Sociology. Lucky for me, it only needs to be one-to-two pages.

-sigh- Last night, Aly needed the computer; so, I decided to get Curriculum 08 out of the way. I didn't need to get it done until Sunday night, at the latest; but I just wanted to get it over with. Even though I was planning on watching it on Saturday night, just like when I first saw it, except a day earlier. To say the least, I didn't get many notes on it. I know the episode all too well, and I don't think I'd be able to write anything even if I tried. I'm sorry, but I can't watch that episode and not break down into tears! Adverb had better be prepared for Sunday, because I don't think he knows the full extent of my obsessiveness.

Now, I've been reading something about a 6-minute leak of episode 3 of R2. I actually haven't watched it, but read a translation of it. But if I have to wait for two weeks for a new episode, I'm gonna be mad! I've been waiting for way too long for R2 as it is, and this will throw off the schedule...again! I don't want to have to wait forever for the finale, again! They should just show the episode anyway, and leave it at that. Plus, I don't want to have to wait for Lloyd and Cecile to show up any longer than I have to. "I've been waiting. You cannot interfere." (Another Pokemon reference!)

On a final, and happier note, tomorrow is Aly's 21st birthday! My siblings are really growing up. GYAH! So, I think we're going to a Greek place tomorrow night to celebrate. Either tomorrow or Friday, depends on Dad's schedule. (And did I mention that he's going out of town again on Sunday?)

Tch! I need to start on that paper, soon!

Geass R2-Turn 02

Okay, this episode was awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! It's awesome because it's very awesome! TOO COOL!!! -clears throat- Enough with the Zero's awesome rantage, let's talk about the return of our other Zero!

First off, the episode played out a lot like S1-02. Lelouch Geasses a member of the military to give him his Sutherland. Cue Knightmare Chess battle! He may not be a fighter, but you have to admit that he's a damn good commander!

We find out what happened at the end the standoff. They both shot each other. Suzaku's earphone shatters, he kicks Lulu, pins him to the ground, and rips off the Sakuradite bomb. Later, he takes him to the Emperor for exchange to become a Knight of Rounds. This whole scene disgusted me, by the way. I'm beginning to remember why I really started hating Suzaku, in the first season. However, I'm quite sure he's being set up for a huge downfall. And right now, I cannot wait to see that.

Concerning Urabe-I salute you! You may not have had much screen time at all, but your sacrifice shall not be in vain!

Kallen on the other hand, is kind of putting me off again. She doesn't trust Lelouch, after being Geassed and what went on in Kaminejima. She pointed a gun at him! She's just confused, I know. But even after that, Lulu gave her his jacket; due to her fanservice outfit. :P I'm going to give it some time, but I know this is a step in the right direction for them both.

I knew we couldn't trust Rollo. He is definitely going to be a huge obstacle. Not only does he have Lancelot 2.0, but he has a Geass as well. And it looks like he Geassed Li at the end of the episode. Just who is this kid, anyway?!

After Governor Carales' G1 base got crushed, Guilford and the Glaston Knights take command. Just then, Zero comes on screen announcing his return. This scene kicked so much ass! Seeing the expressions of some of the character that we haven't seen in over a year brought a tear to my eye. Kaguya, Nina, DIETHARD, Rakshata, and Sayoko. It was so awesome!

For this week's Aya-chan Check, we have the return of our favorite fanboy-ish reporter! Let us relish in Diethard having an instant fangasm over the return of his beloved leader.

ZERO-SAMA!!!

Zero, my love; I KNEW you'd come back to me!

I can only guess why Diet's the only one sitting, here.

Next week, it looks like we get a little insight on Rollo. I wouldn't doubt that it will mirror episode 3; with Rollo's supposed spying and Guilford announcing the execution of the Black Knights. Oooh! I'm really looking forward to Sundays, now!

Good Shopping Day, Today!

It's been a while since I've gone out shopping, it seems. I had to go buy a book for Sociology-for a book report that's due Wednesday! It's a bit longer than I expected it to be, too. I guess I'll be speed reading over the next few days. Or, I could just look at what I need for my report and skim around to find what I need. I've done well doing that, before! ^_^

Anyhow, besides the book, I looked around at clothes for a while. I actually bought a black skort, which I'm wearing right now. I am pleased to report that it's a size 16! YEAH! Aya's out of the 200's! I went around to a few other places to look for a shirt, but I couldn't find a nice one. I did find some nice sleeveless collar shirts; which is my favorite style. However, they didn't quite fit me. Let's just say, that I'm getting the same proportions as Sumeragi from G00.

Next, I decided to look around at swimsuits; just for ideas. The neighborhood pool opens in less than a month, and I really can't wait to start swimming. I found some nice ones, but didn't try them on. I'm going to wait a few more weeks.

In other news, my dad came back from his week-long trip, last night. Unfortunately for him, he has to go back on the 20th. And on the 21st, Aly and I have to attend a schoolboard meeting for our government project. I am so not looking forward to that. =_= -sigh- After the 25th, we should be concentrating on finals; so, things might be less hectic then.

R2 post is tomorrow. Look forward to it! ^_^

Well, That Was Totally And Completely Awkward

I'm talking about last night's Office episode, by the way. Oh jeez! Michael has got to break up with Jan! It seems that she's further proving herself to be a psycho-bitch. Angela seemed to be pretty bitchy, as well. Not that that isn't really out of character for her, or anything. It was like everyone was being a bitch to Michael or Pam. I mean, what the hell was up with Jan getting jealous over Micheal giving Pam his jacket? Then again, she got jealous over them being civil to each other in Fun Run, too. -rolls eyes-

Dwight...I just want to hug the guy sometimes. I think they either changed or shortened his talking head at the beginning, because he didn't run out like he did in the promo. Still, I got a good laugh out of it. I'm really glad that he ended up showing at the dinner party, though. At the end, when the police came and told Micheal to get away from Jan, I totally "aww-ed" when Dwight took him in. I know that their relationship isn't anything like "that", but Dwight/Micheal is very cute! (Or is it the other way around?)

Poor Micheal, he, Jim, Dwight, and to a lesser extent Pam have all been ripped into this season. Micheal's got a psychotic girlfriend, who I hope he ends up breaking up with in the next few episodes. Jim got his ass handed to him by his co-workers on more than one occasion. Dwight screwed up and got dumped by Angela; and still seems to be hurting from it. Pam hasn't really done anything, but she has gotten her fair share from Jan, Angela, Kelly, and even Phyllis.

Next week's episode sounds to have the potential to be hilarious, however. From what I can remember, the subplot consists of Andy and Kevin fighting over a parking space!

Is Highly Amused

Okay, so I've been watching more Lost Colors footage. I finished the Purist Faction yesterday, and am working on the Ashford Chapter today. Oh boy! Some of the stuff I saw was hilarious.

In the Purist chapter, you still get to work with the Toku-ha; but work with Orange-kun and Villetta on the side. A couple of scenes that stick in my mind are both funny and cute. First, one scene has Rai having lunch with a very dere-dere Villetta. She wasn't like when she was Chigusa (Actually, in this chapter, she doesn't lose her memories; nor does Orange-kun get juiced!), as she still had her tsun-tsun side.

Another scenario had Orange-kun come into the Tech Department to play around in the simulator. He was having way too much fun taking down the Elevens. ^_^' While he's having fun, Lloyd tells Cecile to program "that" in. And what was "that"? Somehow, Lloyd managed to get some data from the Narita battle with Zero and made it a setting for the simulator! This, of course, made Jeremiah (Wow! I actually called him by name!) lose control; and he ended up losing. Needless to say, I got a good laugh at that.

Then, there was extreme dork-ery at the school festival. Villetta shows that she tends to get scared really easily, in the horror house. Orange-kun goes around trying different foods, and even plays around to get food coupons! XD I really liked seeing the more dorkier side of Orange-kun. It kind of humanized him a bit.

The ending that the player ended up with was Villetta's. From what I got out of it, she asked Rai to marry her! I may ship Ohgi/Villetta, but that was cute!

Now, for a really funny moment from the Ashford Chapter. This is the particular scenario where I got the picture for my icon from. Lloyd was skulking around the school and randomly talks with Rai. Remember when I thought he said that he was interested in learning more about Rai's body in the Britannian Chapter? Well...he mentioned that again. And then he added something to the effect of wanting to see/examine Rai's body! I'm thinking, "You perv!"; and then Cecile came in and set him straight, hence the picture.

Now then, I might add another update either tonight or tomorrow morning. The reason? Tonight marks the return of THE OFFICE!!! I'm so totally psyched for this, as I've missed it so much. I'm really interested in seeing how things turn out, since we left off at such a tense moment.

Random Rantage

-groans- I don't get it! Why does it have to be so freaking hot upstairs?! Someone has been turning off the A/C, and it's really annoying me! Then again, we can't have upstairs be more than 75 degrees, for some reason. But Dad's not even here, this week; so why not? Some of us happen to get hot really easily! It's those sweat glands from my Dad's side of the family. >_<

Academic-wise, I'm not doing so hot. I had two tests yesterday, and I still have two more to do. I'm thinking about doing my History test tomorrow and my Math test on Friday. Why is it that all my tests this semester have to be around the same time? Also, I totally forgot about my Sociology project! I have to read a book on racism or poverty, and have to do a book report-by next Wednesday! (Which is also my sister's 21st birthday, by the way.) Plus, I really don't want to go to Government, tonight; but I know I have to. Aly and I still need to find a town meeting to go to, for our next report. The only one I've been able to find is on the 21st, and the paper is due on the 25th. (Day after Mom's birthday.) Thank God we only have about a month left!

Now, for some anime-related angst. I finally saw G00 episode 23, last night. Yes, I cried; and I think I really needed it. Still, I couldn't get to sleep until after midnight; partially due to that. Another part could've just been insomnia or caffeine. Also, I heard something about an upcoming episode of Geass. I heard that Guilford challanges Zero to a one-on-one battle, with the lives of his friends at stake. He must be pretty upset over what happened to Cornelia and Darlton if he's pulling something like that. Yeah, I'm kind of put off that Guilford would do something like that, but it is good to see that he's getting some character development. Now that I think of it, that sounds almost like what Cornelia did with the Saitama ghetto.

Continuing on with that, I watched some more LC footage today. I think I really would prefer working with the Toku-ha, rather than Cornelia-tachi or the Purist Faction; if I joined the military, that is. Don't get me wrong-Darlton and Guilford are great! In fact, I'm glad that Darlton got some development in the game. He's more of a father-figure than anything. And despite what I said in the previous paragraph; I really like Guilford, too. (Even though he looks like Clow Reed!) And I'm not crazy about the Purist Faction. I've said many times that I like to take part in Orange abuse.

-checks time- Tch! Just about an hour before we have to leave.

Animazement Has Left Me In Despair!!!

Okay, that convention that I keep talking about? The one that has Keroro, Dororo, and Usagi/Juri attending? Well, guess what? They just got Jouji Nakata! Jouji FREAKING Nakata! Giroro and Diethard's seiyuu! What's next, Takehito Koyasu?! -pauses- I better not say that too much, or it'll happen! GAH! If it wasn't enough already. -whimper- I wanna meet Diethard~! Well, I first heard him as Giroro; but next to him, Diethard is my other favorite of his characters. (DUH!) -moans- And I was just thinking about that Sayoko Diary when Diethard introduced her to the Black Knights! "Do you have any questions?" I love it when Nakata-san uses English. Actually, I've noticed that Giroro's been doing that a lot, lately. "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"

I don't get it! How can a convention that isn't AX or Otakon get all these high-profile seiyuu? It definitely puts the conventions down here to complete shame. A-Kon really isn't shaping up to be anything special, this year; but I'm still going to go. I already paid for it, and I need some fun time. I seriously hope that A-Fest manages something really cool, this year. Still, all I really go to conventions for are for shopping and seeing Jesse. Still, being in the same hotel with three frog seiyuu and a magical girl/duelist would be beyond awesome.

Geass R2-Turn 1

I think we all know how much I've missed this series. Watching R2 this morning felt like welcoming back an old friend, as weird as that sounds. Still, when you haven't seen someone in a long time; they come back changed in different ways. That's kind of how I felt. Something felt different about this, despite that this episode was pretty much a parallel to S1-E1. But, I am very happy to have Geass back!
Okay, to start out with, let's talk about the opening. I LOVE it! Points of interest that I had were: Emperor has Geass (Didn't see that coming...riiight~!), Ohgi and Villetta back-to-back, Schneizel scowling, and I really liked the shot of all the secondary characters (Sugiyama was there, too! YAY!). I'll need to take some time getting used to the ending, but I do like the illustrations.

For the episode itself, like I said, it was a parallel to the first episode of season one. It seems that Suzaku was the one who shot. I guess Lulu got injured, Suzaku brought him to the Emperor, and the Emperor Geassed him to forget everything. It was shown that Zero was "executed", so I'm basing my theory off of that. Though, I have heard that C.C.'s kiss was what caused the memory wipe. I'll have to wait for subs on that.

I'm not trusting Rollo at all. He seems to be playing "spy" for Britannia or someone else. I remember seeing a scan of him holding a schedule that said, "Lelouch's Activity Log". In this episode, a guy from the military was reading from that book.

I actually didn't mind the Student Council scenes. They were short, but I felt that they were needed to ease the chaos. I've learned that lesson from G00 quite well. Shirley actually wasn't that annoying, either. Though, she seems to have rekindled her feeling for Lelouch. -groans- Please don't tell me it's true! I did get a good laugh when Villetta-sensei jumped on top of "Lelouch" only to find that it was Rivalz wearing a wig!

I think I can forgive Kallen for her freakout moment in 25, now. She totally kicked ass, literally. And who would've thought that Urabe would be cool? He and Senba never really got to do much. Oh, and I'm officially dubbing Li as "Ryuho". If his hair was short, he would have a pretty good resemblance to the Alter User.
I think what made the episode, though, was when C.C. came and kissed Lulu; causing him to regain his memories.

He's back!

Even though I was a little underwhelmed with the episode, it's only the first one. I've learned that most anime series have a slow start, but they build up. I've noticed this a lot with Sunrise, actually. So, just give it a little time. I'm sure we'll be back to awesome mode pretty shortly.

Now then, it's time for Aya-chan Check! Today, I'l be focusing on my two favorite shots from the opening.

Being the supporter of Ohgi/Villetta, I liked this shot from the OP. I knew that their subplot wasn't over, yet. Will they come to an understanding? Plus, I'm totally digging Ohgi's Second-in-Command outfit!

This is my other favorite shot from the OP. Not only do we have some old faces (most with new outfits); we have a few newcomers as well. Note: Tohdoh's pilot suit looks similar to the suits that the Reclaimers wore in Brain Powered.

Getting of the episode, I saw the ending of the Britannia Military Chapter this morning. Actually, last night, I saw footage from the Kyushu battle/school festival. I had a little too much fun with the festival part. Lloyd and Cecile show up, and Rai has a little one-on-one time with Lloyd. Cecile goes off on her own, and we all know what's she's doing! ^_^'

Apparantly, Bartley hacked into the Toku-ha database to get some information on Rai. He was one of the people who found him, after all. Well, Lloyd says something to the effect of, "I won't let anything happen to you. You're an important Devicer to the Toku-ha. I won't let anyone take you from us. Absolutely not!" He also blushes and laughs, during this! X3 Say it with me, now. AWWW~~~

R2 Preparation Week-Finale

Well, we've reached the end R2 Preparation Week! Too long; it's been far too long! I've been anticipating this for over half a year (NO DUH!)! Thank goodness for the Lost Colors footage to help me through the week! I hope that R2 will meet my expectations/live up to the hype. And we have just a few more hours to wait. Unfortunately for me, I'll be going to bed soon. But whatever! I'll be acquiring it, first thing in the morning!

I've listened to the OP a few times through promos and such. I think I'm really liking it, but it'll be better with actual footage to go with it. I've also heard a few things from the event, last month. And, sadly, I've heard that the Toku-ha won't show up until episode 5 at the latest. I say episode 5 because I recently saw a storyboard where Suzaku and Gino are talking, and Gino said that he came with Lloyd. That's a first; in Taniguchi's series, Hoshi and Shiratori are almost always against each other in some way. (Kouji/Yuki from Ryvius, Kazuma/Mujo from Scryed, amongst others.) So, I guess I shouldn't expect a Vital Guarder Punch/Proud Fist, then. -shrugs-

In Lost Colors footage, I got to see the Lancelot Club unveiled. I THINK the simuations/mock battles that Rai did was to help in the creation of the Club. He didn't know about it, of course; Lloyd said it was a secret! The whole scenario was cute! Rai was officially admitted into the military, Lloyd gave him the Club, and it was Rai's supposed birthday as well. (On his ID, it was!) Cecile offered to make onigiri, but Suzaku told Rai to be careful! XD In a later scene, Cecile made something and Rai had no choice but to eat it. He was the only one around, you see. I don't think he felt too good afterwards. ^_^'

I ended up leaving off at where the Geass ruins collapsed. Beforehand though, Rai met Schneizel. Random note: I thought that Schneizel used "watashi". Since when did he use "boku" when referring to himself? Nonetheless, he invited Rai along with him, Lloyd, and Bartley to go see the ruins. There was another little scenario before ep 18 took place, where Schneizel is talking with Lloyd in the actual Tech Department. Uh, wasn't he supposed to meet them at Shikinejima? Maybe it was supposed to be over a monitor. Or maybe -perverted smirk- they were having some quality time? Kukuku~

Well, I'm getting really tired, so I guess I'll be going to bed soon. -raises wine cooler bottle- To R2! -drinks the rest-

R2 Preparation Week-Day 6

-sighs happily- YOSH! The premier is just two days away, now. I won't technically be able to see it until Sunday morning, due to timezones and such. Though there is the possibility of seeing it earlier. Anyway, I got my stuff for tomorrow's little soiree. I got orange/peach wine coolers, normal pudding (chocolate/mint I think it was), as well as some "special" pudding. I found some flan that came in two-packs, so I had to get it; since flan is pretty much what the Japanese consider "purin" anyway.

More on the Britannian Military chapter, now! I think I'm really going to like Nonette. She's fun, badass, and manages to embarass Cornelia. If I didn't ship Cornelia with Guilford, I'd go yuri for Nonette/Cornelia. Maybe it could be more of a side pairing; I tend to multi-ship sometimes anyway.

After doing a practice battle with Cornelia's troop, Nonette goes to the Toku-ha because she's really interested in Lancelot. So, Cecile and Suzaku go with her to show off Lancelot. Meanwhile, Lloyd conducts another simulation with Rai. ^_^ Oh yeah, I really liked that! Plus, at one point...we get the return of Lloyd's "Sucky Humming Of Doom!" XD Seriously though, his humming cracks me up! ...Yeah, I'm having waaaaay too much fun watching this chapter. And I really hope that someone posts his ending. I've already seen Suzaku's, Kallen's, Nonette/Cornelia's, and Lulu's Blue Moon ending. (I swear, Lulu's BM ending was so...gay, but it was great!)

Getting off the Geass rantings for a moment, I didn't get to watch Scryed last night. Instead, I watched a mini-marathon of The Office! Yes, in all my Geass fangirling, I never forgot that the new episodes start next week. I still remember, last year, when I would watch Geass raws and The Office on Thursdays. That was a really good combination. Plus, it helped perk me up after a hard day at work.

Well, tomorrow, I don't know what I'm doing during the day. I'll probably be cleaning, most likely; but I might be able to get out for a while. Still, I'm living it up tomorrow night!

R2 Preparation Week-Day 5

I don't really have much to discuss, tonight. However, I am proud to say that I made the Lloyd icon myself. Okay, so I cropped the picture in my photobucket account. I'm so happy that they have pre-set sizings! I might have to make some more, later. Yeah, so what if it's just a crop?! All I wanted was Lloyd's cute face!

With that said, footage from the Britannian Military chapter started showing up on nico-nico today. I think I'm really going to like this chapter. I'm not quite sure what was said; but when Lloyd and Cecile are talking to Rai in the second part, I think Lloyd said something to the effect of "I'm very interested in learning more about your body." Don't quote me on this, please! All I know was, he mentioned "Kimi no karada..." and "Kyoumi bukai...", among other things. And, of course, there's plenty of banter between him and Cecile. I had a good laugh when Lloyd wanted to do another simulation test, and Cecile wouldn't let him.

I also watched 24/25, this afternoon to get me ready for Sunday morning. (I really hope that there will be small definition raws! My computer can't take high definition! -_-) I'm surprised at myself for not remembering how badass Cornelia can get. She totally owned Lelouch, until Geassed Darlton came in and got her. -sigh- I really liked Darlton, and I'll miss him. At least she still has Guilford and the Glaston Knights.

I think, tonight, I'm going to get my homework done and watch some Scryed. I still think it would be funny if they got the guy who did Straight Cougar's voice in the Japanese version do that one Knight's voice. I don't think it would be a problem if Crispin Freeman did his dub voice; since Orange-kun might not be around, if not much at all. Don't even get me started on Mujou! I was interested and wanted to see how he sounded in Japanese. (You KNOW where I'm going with this!) That scene in the Holy Eye episode, when he's absorbing the Alter creature's powers, was beyond gay! XD I just had to imagine Lloyd doing that!

R2 Preparation Week-Day 4

Alrighty! Just a few more days to go! I've been watching more Lost Colors footage, so today I'll discuss that.

-I think I like the protagonist (We'll call him Rai. That's his default name.) He has a tragic past (Don't we all?) that I need to re-read up on. Still, there's something I like about him.

-I've only seen footage of the Black Knights route, so far. Let me tell you, Ohgi and his group are really weird! During the trip to the hot springs event, Ohgi's crying for Naoto, Tamaki and Inoue are totally drunk, and the others probably are too. Another funny thing is when they get there, Ohgi's desperate for a toilet! XD They have a party and everyone is living it up. I had a laugh at Sugiyama and Inoue with their arms around each other. And Ohgi's still crying! The student council shows up, and Rai has to use his Geass to break up the party. Aww...

-Since this is an interactive game, you can talk to random characters at different places, during the day. I just watched a good one with Lloyd, a few minutes ago. It takes place after he decides to get engaged to Milly. He asks Rai something like, "By the way, have you seen Ganyme-er my fiancee?" (Oh God, Lloyd! XD) Rai seems suspicious, and Lloyd gets all standoffish. He gets this annoyed look and is like, "I'm serious!" He cheers back up and starts talking about Knightmares with Rai. At one point, he blushes. SO DAMN CUTE!!! I wish I had a shot of that!

-Another run-in that I liked seeing was Cecile in the supermarket. She was looking for jam! XD I'm guessing to go in her rice balls.
-During the Kaminejima story, you get chased by Rollo with a knife! If you manage to get away, you end up in the Geass ruins. You get caught by Bartley, Schneizel, Lloyd. Well, you end up Geassing them. ^_^' The thought of those three getting Geassed is rather amusing, especially when Schneizel's concerned. One other little thing I have to say about this; Lloyd's "Ah-ha!" seems to be missing it's orgasmic quality, here. You know, like how he was in episode 19? Still, we get footage from when the ruins collapse; and he goes all "WTF?!". I loved that, for some reason. On the other hand, he also seems to have acquired a perverted snicker...despite that he has no hormones, except for mechs.

-I also just watched a little hot spring fanservice event. Rivalz switched the signs for the men and women's baths. So, Lelouch and Rai end up in the women's bath with the council girls!

-And speaking of fanservice, I saw some screenshots of the parts that I haven't seen yet. The cosplay session with Milly, well, some of the others cosplay too. Suzaku in a skimpy cheerleader outfit, and looking like he's enjoying it a lot, is very disturbing. Actually, he seemed to enjoy the crossdressing theme in that one Picture Drama, too. Maybe it's his secret hobby. -_-' And we get to see the return of Luluko, in a wedding dress! Ah, Milly and her cosplay fetish.

-I think that's all that stood out at me, but there is one more thing. I think I found a good picture that I'd like an icon of. I must find someone who would make an icon of Lloyd, from this picture! (Credit goes to lulu quality for the shot.)

GAH~!!! SO EFFING CUTE!!!

Now, I just need to wait and see the Britannian Military chapter. Someone should get it up, in a few days. So, with that, I'll take my leave. We're having pizza for dinner, tonight! Just as planned!

R2 Preparation Week-Day 3

Before I get to the main point of tonight's post, I have to give the obligatory "Omedetou~!" to Schneizel. Apparently, it's his birthday, today. Even though the Chara Fortune has him down as a Taurus and we're in Aries!

Also, I got a niconico account and have been watching some footage of the Lost Colors game. The first one I saw was of Orange-sensei. -snickers- Lulu comes up to the player, while he's talking to Orange-kun, and actually says "Orange" for some reason. Of course, he reacts and gives us a little, "O-O-Orange?!" We also have Villetta-sensei and even Lloyd-sensei. (YES!!!)

But enough of that; I'll talk more about that, later. Right now, I'd rather talk about what I hope doesn't happen in R2.

-I don't want it to become a bloodbath. I've had enough of that in G00, and I'd rather not have it happen here. Sure, it's war and people will die, but I really don't want a bunch of pointless deaths. I'm constantly fearing the worst over Lloyd and Cecile, due to my curse. If either one was to die though, I'd put my money on Cecile. I would not doubt that she could die protecting Suzaku. Plus, her death could humanize Lloyd a bit. And don't even get me started on how I'd react if Lloyd were to die! (Oh God! I'm Toku-ha ranting, yet again!)

-Relationship-wise, I really don't want to see Lelouch end up with Shirley. I never felt anything from Lelouch that showed that he loved her. As a friend, sure; as a lover, no. Second, I really hope that Lloyd and Milly don't get married. I love them both, but I just don't see it working out. (See yesterday's post for more details.) If anything, they could get married, legally; and decide to see other people...or mechs in Lloyd's case. XD If they can make it work, then I might consider otherwise. Also, Kallen better not end up with Suzaku! With that, I don't think there are any other pairings that I don't like.

-I'd rather not have the new characters take away screentime from the original cast. I'm not just saying that; I mean it. I'm really worried about having all these new guys in the series. It didn't really work for G00-I mean, why insert Team Trinity? What was their purpose, other than to be annoying canon fodder? (Except Johann wasn't all that bad.)

-Also, no Geass-zombies, please. Flashbacks are good, if used in moderation. I just don't want to see Euphie, Clovis, or anyone else suddenly walk around Area 11. Communication with the World of C could be helpful, too.

-Everything better be tied up, in the end. I hate open endings with a passion. Especially if the series ends when it's really just beginning. -Glares at Yukiru Sugisaki- Along with that, no Eva-esque endings. I'd rather not damage my brain any further.
