Who Would've Thought

I've been listening to the third Geass drama CD, and wow...I never thought I'd say this, but Shirley's song was great. It's probably the best one, so far. I honestly didn't like C.C's, and Lelouch's took some (quick) getting used to. I may hate Shirley with a burning passion, but geez. "Congratulations, universe, you win."

Anyhow, besides the song, I liked the two comedic tracks on this one, as well. Conversations with Lulu and C.C never seem to bore me. I don't think of them much in a romantic setting, but they make for interesting accomplices, ne? Then, the track with Rivalz and Milly. I really love those two, what can I say. Poor Rivalz, the girl you love doesn't like you AND is engaged to a technology-obsessed scientist/noble. That scene in episode 18 where Rivalz finds out Milly's engaged to Lloyd is priceless. Master of subtly you are not, Lloyd.

I've heard rumors about the fifth drama CD, and that Milly gets to sing. While this is awesome on it's own, there's something else that I've heard. According to the rumor, there's going to be a drama track called, "Orange Peel". lol Obviously, Orange-kun's going to be the focus on that one, but I've heard that Lloyd's going to be in it, as well. I'm still not sure about this one, but if it's true...oh the possibilities. Orange-kun and the Pudding Earl, that would be immensely amusing. I'm not getting my hopes up yet, though.

Lastly, since AX is this weekend, who wants to bet that Bandai has Geass? I mean, it's the perfect set-up. AX is the biggest convention in the US, it would make perfect sense to announce the license there. I just have one piece of advice. Geass has extremely high marketing potential, use it. Exploit it like you're doing with Haruhi, for God's sake! Just don't leave it in the dust, like that certain company with that certain frog series is doing. *glares* I'll give them the benefit of a doubt, since their panel is tomarrow, I believe.

Well, in two days we'll see if Geass has been taken or not. My bet is on that it will be announced. If it isn't, it will be eventually. Other than that, the wait is killing me. This and waiting for 24 and 25.

About to Die From Nose Bleeding

I just saw the pictures from the newest Code Geass Picture Drama. All I can say about that is, OH MY FREAKING GOD!!! Cornelia's swimsuit...I always knew she was a dominatrix! Poor Guilford, though, it seems that he's an "underdog" to Darlton. XD It seems that everyone in this series is perverted in some way. Heck, Cornelia was standing completely naked in front of Euphie, and she didn't seem to mind. Euphie actually seemed delighted.

While I missed him, I'm actually quite glad that Lloyd wasn't around. If he was, I can guarantee that I would look like Giroro, here.

At the same time, however, I really don't see Lloyd as the type to go to the beach. There wouldn't be a place to set up his laptop! ^^'

On the Geass note, I've been re-watching the series again. I just finished a second time, and now I'm on the third. I didn't think that I'd get to like this series so much. I was actually about to give up on it, at first. Now, I'm glad that I didn't. I have to say, for a mecha series, it's very entertaining. Jeez, I wish August would hurry up and get here. I want to see episodes 24 and 25!

On a final note, I'm glad that Eyeshield 21 got licensed, finally. While I'm sure they'll have to edit out Hiruma's guns, I'm also sure that we'll be getting an uncut release. So, I'm not too worried about that.

With that said, YA-HA!!!

Long Post Ahead!

Today's entry is probably going to be super-long; as I have three topics to address.

First off, A-Kon. I really didn't do much there, last weekend. I did stop and talk with a few old friends of mine, and even impressed some people with my anime pin-encrusted bag. Besides my plushie collection, my pin collection is my other big collecting obsession. To be honest, I really couldn't enjoy myself that much, this time. Probably because of my brother's graduation that Saturday, and my aunt and uncle coming this past Monday. (Next topic) But I did manage to get some great stuff. For the sake of the scroll-bar, I'll just list my stuff in one sentence. Captain Keroro and Sailor Dororo, Goblin Tamama and Witch Kururu, Delux-sized Matsuri Tamama, Guregguru, and Devil Bat (YA-HA!) plushies, the last two box sets of Utena (YAY!), Tenchi Universe box-set, Keroro magnet set, Goddess GOA stamp set (had to give in to my weakness), and last but certainly not least, I got the Lloyd voice i-doll figure!!! I never thought I'd ever get my hands on it, or the Devil Bat plushie, for that matter. And the Witch Kururu plushie amuses me to no end. Anyways, despite not going on Saturday, I'm glad I didn't miss anything.

Next, as I mentioned, my dad's oldest sister and her husband came from St. Louis for the week. I wasn't completely sure at first, but I confirmed the reason pretty quickly. I've mentioned before about my grandma's alzheimer's before, and it's gotten even worse. Basically, Dad and his sisters are getting ready to put her in a nursing home. We still have some research to do, but I have to agree that it's time. We have managed to keep her from getting out and wandering by putting locks on the doors and gate, but that's not the only problem at hand anymore. She's starting to forget who we are, starting with Grandpa. We've finally gotten his cooperation with this (stubborn German blood), and are going to proceed. *sigh* It's been really frustrating, with all of this. I don't even want to know how they plan on getting her to stay in the home.

Finally, a topic that's been all the rage these days. Now, I'm not one for celebrity gossip, but the Paris Hilton thing has been really amusing. Honestly, is screaming and crying for your mommy going to help you "get out of jail free"? I'm sure that once she serves her full sentence, everything's going to be back to normal, but just revel in the moment. Though, for some oddball reason, I actually feel sorry for the bitch. It's probably out of pity for her pathetic-ness. Strange, seeing as how she reminds me of a girl that I absolutely could not stand in high school. Would I feel for her, given the same situation? Amusement? Yes. Sympathy? Hell no! Well, along with other common people, I have one piece of advice for the brat. Don't drop the soap! (Ku ku ku~)
